SATURDAY FALL VLOG I Decorating for Halloween, Making Chili, Walk in the rain

Come decorate for Halloween with me, make my family's chili recipe (recipe below), take a walk in the rain and look for signs of fall, and cap it off with some piano practice.

CHILI RECIPE:
1 lb. ground beef, turkey, or meat substitute
4 large celery stalks (soften in microwave after dicing)
1 large onion (I use sweet onions), (soften in microwave after dicing)
1 large green bell pepper
2 cans kidney beans (drained)
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 large bottle of tomato juice
1 can of mushrooms (drained)
SEASONINGS:
Chili powder (to taste - I use 1/2 a container)
Salt and pepper (1 tsp. each)
Dash of curry powder
Splash of Worchestershire Sauce
Splash of Soy Sauce
Bring to a light boil over medium high heat, then reduce heat and simmer in a covered (vented) pot for approx. 45 minutes.
Serve with crackers, or shredded cheddar and tortilla chips.

This was lovely - thank you sister 💙 I'm planning on a "kettle of chile" over the holidays when we're together. I'm tempted to experiment a little with the chili seasoning - maybe dice some chile peppers - makes me a bit nervous - maverick move.
