- Part 1 covers taking the factory battery harness and modifying it to prepare it for the battery relocation to the trunk. Part 2 will cover the length of wires going to the trunk, the circuit style resettable fuse for the battery and how to alter the EPS fuse wire to work for the relocation. Part 3 will cover the grounding.

Would like to see how you mount it in the trunk. I've read it's best to have the battery mounted to the passenger side trunk area for traction purposes.
Unless you are a very experienced driver with a few years of consistent (couple events a month) racing experience under your belt, you wouldnt be able to notice much of any difference on where its located in the trunk. This mod is geared primarily towards turbo owners who needed to move it.
@@rickyse3p I would say it's best to mount it in the most ideal location, regardless if you would notice it or not. Weight and balance, and all that.
I do agree with that to a degree. For some owners, having full use and function of their trunk triumphs putting it in the ideal location
@@rickyse3p I can understand that, I honestly wasn't even considering the whole trunk usage aspect of it. I never really put anything in the trunk.
So i understand you use the fusebox positive as the new power steering positive?
Watch my most recent video where i install one on a car for a clearer idea of the power steering positive. It comes from the part of the harness that connects power between the fuse box and starter positive wire.

Don't lapse which one? Both are simply using a razor blade to remove tape or just wrapping up the wires in tape after measuring everything out as per my instruction in the non-timelapse segments
