I Went to The Red Wolf Recovery Area in The Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge

I went to the try and see some red wolves in North Carolina. This video gives some info on red wolves and shows what I saw.

Friends of mine have red wolf high content dog.. he is beautiful and very skittish. Almost got my timber wolf dog pregnant as they got a long too well😂

The Colorado wolf & wildlife center just welcomed Fender a red wolf from a Arizona wildlife center to breed with Shawnee their resident female red wolf to help in that very program.

A 2019 Center for Biological Diversity analysis of available habitat throughout the red wolf's former range found that more than 20,000 square miles of public lands in five locations had viable habitat for the reintroduction of red wolves in the future, these locations were chosen based on prey levels, coyote isolation and human development, and connectivity to other locations, These locations include: the Apalachicola and Osceola National Forests, along with the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and nearby protected lands, numerous parks national forests and national forests in the Appalachian Mountains, including Monongahela, George Washington and Jefferson, Cherokee, Pisgah, Nantahala, Chattahoochee, and Talladega National Forests, along with Shenandoah National Park and the lower elevations of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Forest Croatoan National and Hofmann Forests in coastal North Carolina, and the Ozark, Ouatchita, and Mark Twain National Forests in the central United States
