I don't travel a lot in the US - is airport food cheaper there? I've been in a LOT of airports in Canada, Europe and Japan and food is always very expensive.
This vlog is interesting. It confirms why I am generally not a fan of AirBnB: non-standard checkin times and procedures, hit and miss quality, inconvenient locations, etc. It also confirms why I prefer the buses and taxis. The metro is great if you want to avoid rush hour traffic, but as a tourist you don’t see much underground, the larger stations require you to walk long stretches or take multiple levels of escalators (often broken) and there are so many stairs to you have to take from street level. But I’m glad to see you both without those heavy backpacks. Be kind to yourselves. 💕 And have a great time in London.
Hey Rae, thanks for the comment! That's a fair criticism of Airbnb, but for what it's worth, we'd say 90% of the time the places are great, and the other 10% is usually just small issues. We still would almost always take Airbnb over a hotel 🙌But hey, that's just us! 🤓
Did you check the prices of the Eurostar? Sometimes you can get deals and with the extra costs of getting from Heathrow to central London using Eurostar can be a good option.
Genial Harry Grout I totally agree but you need to book in advance to get the best prices. I have looked at prices and you need to book a few weeks in advance.
Jon Johnson I plan to take a Euro star to Paris and the business class tickets do not vary much at all. As you said adding additional travel within each city and time involved it makes little difference. The trains run all day and you can have a good meal on board. If you add in airport security and needing to be there three hours ahead of your flight also adds up. Though economy tickets only need 45 to 60 minutes pre travel arrival.
Next time in the UK, 2 brilliant places to visit in Northamptonshire are Sulgrave Manor, Washingtons birthplace and Stowe School and Gardens, simply stunning
Hey guys! Very excited about your next England meet up, Bristol gets out vote! You missed so much cool stuff! We'd happily give you a city tour 😃. Have fun in London!
That was a really intteresting trip and I loved the street theater with those two guys. I also love seeing you travel and how the airport and plane works out for you. Would it be possible for you to mention the airline and the type of aircraft you are flying? It may help other travelers with selecting an airline for trips. Some of the newer aircraft and incredibly cramped and not passenger friendly. That plane looked really nice.
For Belgian prices, that's actually the regular price though :) Even outside the airport a burger with fries will be around 15/16€ and not including a drink!
Ahh I was at WTM! Crazy you were there too. So glad you got the Piccadilly Line in the end - a way better option than three buses, and it would barely cost any more!
So pleased you're back in London! I was hoping you'd come over for Christmas but it's nice to see you back here. I went to Tesco earlier and got some supermarket waffles after watching your Brussels video. I doubt they'll be anywhere near as good, but I was craving them so much, especially seeing that melted chocolate in Eric's vanilla waffle, OMG I almost got up to go get them at midnight last night but I somehow resisted, lol. Have fun in London!
I notice others mentioned too, but I have a friend in Brussels and when she goes to London she takes the train, may be something to consider since you had all that time b4 your flight ;)
Looking forward to some good tips, will be in london for 2 days passing through to Ireland in september. We did 4 days there in 2017 so need some new stuff.
I bought a 4 wheel suitcase last year, and it's so easy to move around (I find it's better than a 2 wheel one). I sadly missed the last London meet and greet, I'm waiting to hear about the next one when you have time to organise it :D
Oh yeah, the Belgian railway service is very very expensive! I found them expensive even back when I was still living there, and that was 10 years ago. And every year they put the prices up even further. No to mention the fact that they often have delays... LOL at those guys on the subway though, that was some nice theatre :D
Hi guys im surprised you didnt do the eurostar to st pancras would have got you to the city faster. Also easier with bags. Nice to see you back looking forward to more video
Hello lovelies, can I suggest you try a hot pudding with hot custard whilst in London? Something like Apple Pie, Jam Roly Poly, or Sticky toffee pudding. I'm genuinely surprised America hasn't cottoned on to hot custard. It's amazing!
Welcome back again. And remember while you're here, you get "pissed" in the pub and "pissed off" with the price of your drink. Unless you're in Wetherspoons. x
Welcome back to the UK! Sorry to hear about your Air BnB issues and also about those absolute 'mugs' on the tube; they looked like they were high. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in my country
Welcome back to London guys!! Don’t mind those two. Just a couple of lads with a belly full of beer having a laugh. No danger. Haven’t seen you try a Kebab yet? Any chance? Start with a Donna!!
Bit of a different vlog for you two I think. Welcome to the UK. Wow! the Airport food was expensive.... You should have come on Eurostar through the channel tunnel. The two lads on the tube were a bit mad, but there you go, nothing like a bit of spontaneity!!! Shame you can't do a meet up this time around, I enjoyed the last one about a year ago. Looking forward to your adventures in London....
I need some advice, heading to South America in Jan and since we’ll be doing a lot of trekking, I need to purchase a backpack. How many litres would be needed for a 3 week trip? I’d like to pack as light as possible, but knowing me I’ll want a few outfit options.
Haha I think we have followed the exact same path! I can't wait to see what you get up to in London. All we did was eat and explore everything Harry Potter. haha
Glad you enjoy that aspect! It's actually pretty tough to decide what to leave in. If we like things to much, people accuse us of not being genuine, but if we complain about something or dislike something, we're being whiney 🤷♂️So we just try to be ourselves at this point.
@@Theendlessadventure People will find every and any reason to complain. The same people complaining in one video are the same people praising you in another. You can't please everyone. Just keep remaining true to yourselves and the rest will follow. I'm a huge supporter! You guys are amazing ❤
The Endless Adventure Cheers! If you ever venture back to Snowdonia in North Wales . Give me a shout. We live there. You like your sights and grub. So do we! Regards. Will contine to watch and enjoy your adventures!
Have you ever taken the ferry from Zeebrugge, over to Felixstowe? I was stationed in the USAF at RAF Bentwaters just outside of Ipswich and made that trip many times. Yes, it's where the UFO's landed in 1980-81. In Rendleshan Forest. There is a nice monument marking the spot. Very cool base and the cold war museum is located at Bemtwaters. Hope one day to return.
For all of you saying "you should have taken the Eurostar", given they took this trip at short notice it was probably cheaper to fly! The Eurostar can be ridiculously expensive last minute.
Not if you're a Belgian 😅 Ok, it is more expensive over here than in our neighbouring countries, but a lot is due to taxes which are used for our very good health care (almost free) and public services (schools, universities,...) systems.
Love you foodie reviews best ;) But wow, I forget how dang expensive Europe is. I lived there 10 years and could always feel the extra 20% government tax passed down. Fortunately there's little tipping in most countries. Safe travels, James and Kim (treasure hunt traveler's)
Hey there... You don’t get much for your buck in London regarding staying..i know myself..and I’m only in wales 🏴 uk lol If u want better, more reasonable food on the go-go find mini supermarkets, like sainsbury,Waitrose,Tesco amd ,marks and spencer..youl do better there, but somthing to pick up and go I mean.maybe the bigger supermarkets will have a coffee shop..👍
You two are so adorable ! Welcome to the uk new sub alert xx I’m so curious how do you afford to travel so much ? Me and the hubby want to start travelling any tips ? Xx

The next step is robotic baggage that follows you around and keeps an inventory of what is packed and what you might have forgotten.
Awesome vlog! Thank you for being so pleasant after all the travel glitches! You guys are so inspiring! Have fun in London!
looking on from the Caribbean, Trinidad. Really enjoyed this vlog! especially the folks who decided to put on a 'performance'.

You should wear her backpack and vice-versa. That way it is easier to access your stuff without having to take anything off.
Parlor is the best in Brussels, the staff is very nice, and have maybe the best coffee too (from a specialty coffee drinker's point of view)!
Those blokes were amazing.
I actually really enjoy your videos showing you in transit whether it be by train, bus or plane.
Did you check the prices of the Eurostar? Sometimes you can get deals and with the extra costs of getting from Heathrow to central London using Eurostar can be a good option.

@@davidlazarus67 I'll stick my neck out and say it probably would have been cheaper when you factor in getting to and from the airport on either end.

The food so nices
Fun travel video!! Love the music choice and always enjoyed the food reviews!
Great video. It's nice when you guys talk !
Nice of them to let you plug in.
Yes, the UK! I so look forward to more videos on London!
Why do you not buy tickets online, then just enter the code into the ticket machine. Even on same day or next day travel savings can sometimes be made

I’m here now visiting! Very cool!
Welcome back to England. Enjoy your stay. Cheers
Clever travel video, you guys really catch some fascinating stuff on camera. Oh where did those original adjectives get to?

YAS! I love your London videos. It is my favorite city I have traveled to.
Attach the handle of your wheelie bag to the back of your belt or the back belt loop

I like the idea of you doing a meet and greet somewhere other than London !!!

I always carry rolling luggage 😜😜 can't carry heavy backpack for long time

Question why not the Train from Brussels to London rather than the plane

Eric it's those guys were probably pissed. You, however, were pissed off. (Here endeth the British English lesson).

How I miss London. I lived there for 2 years.
You guys should go out of London, as England does have a beautiful countryside 😁
Stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago. Have been playing major catch up haha. Really good stuff. Welcome back to Blighty 😁
Hey there, 👋 glad to have you along for the adventure!
Thank you 👍🏻
Same! they are great!!
Hello lovelies, can I suggest you try a hot pudding with hot custard whilst in London? Something like Apple Pie, Jam Roly Poly, or Sticky toffee pudding. I'm genuinely surprised America hasn't cottoned on to hot custard. It's amazing!
@Rachael Clothier. Hot custard sounds yummy. Wish we had it in the States. We only have flan/crème caramel.
@@naturegirl8104 It is really easy to make, just takes a lot of stirring....

I couldn't agree more. Supermarkets carry "BIRDS" in the states.
They have been to the UK before lol

I have wheeled luggage as well lol as much as I want to just carry around a backpack, I cant because I have back problems haha but it's lighter tho
Check out Butchies on Rivington street while you are in london... The best fried chicken I’d recommend the strips with the hot cheese fries 🤤
Welcome back to London guys!! Don’t mind those two. Just a couple of lads with a belly full of beer having a laugh. No danger. Haven’t seen you try a Kebab yet? Any chance? Start with a Donna!!
If you add up all the transport and cafes and waiting, it might have been cheaper / faster to use Eurostar direct into the centre of London?
There is a direct bus from the city to the airport and it costs 13 euros per person :)
Awesome job as always guys. Just curious what made you pick the plane over say the Eurostar train to Saint Pancras ?
Bit of a different vlog for you two I think. Welcome to the UK. Wow! the Airport food was expensive.... You should have come on Eurostar through the channel tunnel. Yeah I am surprised they didn't take the Eurostar. Thats how I did it last month haha
We'll definitely try out best to do another one next time we're through the UK 🙌
Eric, with that cap on you look like a proper Frenchman.
Did you consider Eurostar to central london in 2.5 hours.
I was thinking the same, central Brussels to central London is way easier with Eurostar , plus probably also much cheaper.
WE LOVE LONDON💖
Megabus tomorrow Brussels to london, 2 people one way, 50 euros, 8 hrs
Yes! I've only just learnt this, Busses in Europe are so cheap! I used buses all around Norway and even from Amsterdam to Brussels

Would be nice if the meet up is Manchester or Sheffield. On a weekend would be perfect.
Next time when you fly to London, try to use London City Airport, which goes much faster.

Why didn't you go by Eurostar? It takes you from the middle of Brussels to the middle of London.
So... Are you using the Osprey Sojourn 45L these days? Roll aboards really do make life so much easier (most of the time), don't they?
