London has several premier league football clubs. If you say to a Londoner that Chelsea is the best/most popular you are likely to be in trouble, as you may be talking to a Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham, Brentford, Fulham supporter who will not be fond of Chelsea.
lol Chelsea is only 1 football team in London, there is also Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Watford, Brentford, Fulham, Millwall, Queens Park Rangers, Charlton Athletic, AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient. I have no idea why he only named Chelsea as a London football team.
The battle of Trafalgar wasn't between France & Spain. France & Spain were allies against England. Half of what this guy said was wrong. And please change the battery in your smoke alarm.
Wrong Wrong Wrong . Travel advice for London from an American. Save yourself a fortune and don’t stay in central London , just a short tube ride ,job done . Theses are are all tourist traps and don’t represent England. I live in the north now after 20 years and won’t be rushing back anytime soon . It’s not that I don’t have a lot of love for London ,but it’s beyond expensive to live there ,my quality of life is so much better .
Sorry mate! You seem more educated than the guy narrating this. For future vids try to stick to UK residents talking about the area they know. I wouldn't go to the US and get a brit to show me around.
Such a poor video highlighting never trust an educated American. So many errors it’s hard to list and can’t even say Thames. Not the longest river in the Uk and Big Ben is a bell not a tower. Best to watch a video made by someone in the Uk who has actually been to London.
and the h in Buckingham is silent when pronounced. The bridges don't have 'The' in front of their names. He did say the Thames was the longest river in England though. He didn't say the longest in the UK. The pronunciation of Southwark is atrocious. It's pronounced more like Suth urk.
I know, it hurts listening to Americans try to pronounce British places. But that works both ways. Also he said the Thames is the longest River in the UK. It's not, that'll be the Severn, which is a mighty 9km longer
There are much better videos of London than the one you are reacting to. Try Rick Steves - he's an American but he researches, and gets things right - including pronunciations!
As everyone said, there are quite a few errors in this. If you make it to the UK (and we'd be happy to see you), while in London try thinking about it in different groupings such as: natural world (parks, London Zoo, Kew Gardens, Chelsea Physic Garden etc,), historical (Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Churches like St Paul,s, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London etc.), Museums (loads from British museum to more specialised but fun ones like the London Transport Museum), Culture (Galleries, theatres, comedy shows, dance, gigs, etc.,), Socialising (clubs, pubs). Food such as Borough and Camden markets, Chinatown, International food especially Indian food. A trip on the Thames is a must (which is not the longest river in England). You can tour football stadiums (Arsenal, Tottenham, are big clubs too) including Wembley Stadium and there are also cricket tours and tennis tours (Wimbledon). If you want to do the tourist money traps such as the London Eye, Aquarium, Madame Tussauds you can but I think the Royal Observatory at Greenwich is much better. I could go on but this is already far too long!
It is pronounced Temms river. There are many football clubs in London, Tottenham and West Ham, Arsenal are just as important as Chelsea. Liverpool and the two Manchester teams are the best. It costs a lot to go up to the 72nd floor of the Shard. Most of our Museums and Galleries are free. The Sky Garden is on top of the "Walkie Talkie" building, the garden is free. Most tourist spots need you to book well ahead of time, you can get offers for cheaper tickets.
Why do the people who make these vids mispronounce the things they are presenting? Don't just read from a script, do some proper research. I sometimes wonder if they have actually been to these places.
Just to clarify, London is a city within the country England. Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham etc. are all other cities in England. The narrator doesn’t know what he’s talking about with Chelsea. Arsenal, Tottenham and Palace are all massive clubs in London.
There are 20 football teams in the Premier League. London has Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brentford and Fulham- 35% of the total.
Hi. New subscriber here. I really think you are doing yourself a disservice using videos of Americans commenting on the UK . I'm sure the narrator on this means well but he's getting so much wrong and you seem very intelligent and deserve better. Like others have said Rick Steeves is great but I'm pretty sure his videos get copyright strikes. Can I suggest Magic Geekdom, they are an American couple who have done multiple trips here and have a lot of videos up. Also Off Day Adventures UK trip . Think you are doing really well otherwise and thank you for your effort 😊
He said Covent Garden and then showed the area around Leicester Square 🤔 There was an earlier clip of Covent Garden, where he showed the covered market building on two levels, but he didn’t point it out. Shame he didn’t show more of Covent Garden because it’s really beautiful.
The h in Buckingham is silent . The Thames is pronounced Tems. The bridges don't have 'The' in front of their names. The pronunciation of Southwark is atrocious. It's pronounced more like Suth urk. He's not accurate in saying the area (Westminster) is known for Museums and theatres, and Oxford St. Those are in the West End of London. Covent Garden does not have 'The' at the beginning of its name. Saying that Chelsea is the main club in London is going to infuriate fans of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham. The other teams you mentioned are not in London. The w in Greenwich is silent.
Liverpool Man utd man city all in Lancashire north west england. Non bias id say Arsenal and Tottenham bigger London clubs than Chelsea. Loads of medieval sights to see not mentioned. Travel the British Isles mate. So much more to see even if London is cool ish.
Stick with U.K. made videos giving information on U.K. things, this video was inaccurate on almost everything ! It’s like a British person who has never been to the US making a video about US things and getting everything wrong ! I’ll probably subscribe when your content is more factual !
If you come to the UK please don’t pay the extortionate prices for accommodation in the city centres. We have a great public transport system so stay a wee bit out of the city centre and travel in. In London you can get an Oyster card but I’m not sure what types of transport it covers. In Edinburgh you can get a day ticket for the buses which means you can get on and off as many times as you like but I don’t know if they have similar in London. Also if you’re planning on travelling further afield than London look into the different types of railcards available, depending on what you are planning to do it may be cheaper to buy a rail card before buying train tickets.
There's quite a few inaccuracies in the video, the biggest being that Chelsea is the top club in London. Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham fans would also argue my point I'm sure. BTW I think your smoke alarm is asking for you lol. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Didn’t know Chelsea was the main club in London either. This video is a mess using stock video with no research. Involved in WA2 what an insult America was two years late to joining in leaving us to be bombed.
Don't just come to London. Travel further north. Also check out the Isle of man. You might be interested. Check out the TT (tourist trophy) and manx grand pre Which start's this weekend. In answer to your question about visiting things and paying. You can buy a national heritage card that lets you into a Hella lot of places if u produce it all over the country. Much cheaper
The first thing to do in London is wear pants with zip pockets, otherwise you will loose all YOUR £s, next if carrying a backpack put PADLOCKS on ALL THE ZIPPERS.

You really were watching a terrible video filled with mistakes and poor advice. This is the second of your videos I’ve seen, will you please put fresh batteries in your smoke alarm, at least you weren’t tapping your foot all the way through this time.
Oh my goodness, like others have said, this video gives some very bad advice. If you do go to London, don’t just visit the obvious sites, even though I do recommend the Tower of London and the food markets are great. My advice is to do your own research, watching lots of videos made by Brits or resident Americans, and check out anything about London’s transport system, especially the Tube (the London underground).
Chelsea are not even the main club in London, let alone the whole of England. The north west has utterly dominated football in this country,Manchester United,Manchester City, and that lot down the road Liverpool (hawk tuah) Chelsea had a spell but nowhere near the success of the Lancashire clubs.

Chelsea biggest club in England????? Is this narrator a comedian?
When talking about Covent Garden, the only pictures are of Leicester (pronounced Lester) Square. Nothing of Covent Garden shown.
