It was starting to become a series like Subnautica where he just screwed around with every new update and tried to do the dumbest thing possible. Not saying that's a bad thing or you shouldn't like it, but he has said in the past he doesn't like when that happens to a series, which is why he took a massive break from Subnautica (Jack did the same thing with both of these games). Also, if you follow the development of the game like me, you'd know that the developer has actually been more focused on making minor adjustments and changes to the game as well as working on the actual game plot itself (AKA implementing rivals, their cutscenes, and their schedules). There's not much more to do, regardless of whether you're playing to goof off or to see what the game has so far. Especially not for a 20 minute UA-cam video.

He is told to remember... Obviously this is in reference to his Plants, you see the Plant we saw at the beginning, it wasn't actually there. It is was a remnant, a fragment if you will, of the main character's memory. This foreshadowed the main character's realization, a recollection of all the plants that died indirectly by his hand. You see his mind inserted "Water the Plant" as mental objective because it was something he never remembered to do, he feels guilt and responsible for the deaths of the plants, especially that of his favorite, the potted plant which we see manifested on his desk named Anita. The Guilt slowly drives him mad which makes up the rest of the events of the game. This game is secretly very deep.
I think he said he's waiting on a better update of it, cause it seems you can't get gasmasks and there are things he'd like to be in it first before he does an actually play through of it.
There's not supposed to be a gasmask. There is a room that opens the vents for the basement and clears the gas. He encountered it early in his last playthrough but didn't know what it did.
Interesting game. I remember all sorts of games being pixelated like that and even worse like Nintendo when it first came out. Graphics have gotten so good now but fun to have the retro games still around.

It might as well be, it doesn't make any sense to use that word as it doesn't translate into anything and it literally means to jeer or laugh at someone in a mean way. Makes 0 sense that it's an ingredient you'd have to find. It's also the name of a company that tried to produce bubble gum but it was so bad they couldn't release it to the public in 2906. I have a feeling the creator of the game was trying to make something up when they used that word but because it has a meaning and is tied to a product irl, it makes it ridiculous.
