You guy's say no " Judging the shape the interior is in" . I'm Judging how FEAKING jealous I'm that I'm 58 and still working towards doing what you awesome guy's are doing. You are truly living life and the Judging is HELLA!!! Jealous.. Keep rocking it!!!
I used to work with one of the previous owners of Frosty V. We used to go to Cuttyhunk in Buzzards Bay and see each other all the time. He used to keep his boat in Fairhaven, next to New Bedford on Buzzards Bay. It's still my home port. Great to see it being used again.
I'm a 76 yo, from Canada and know Portland very well, and been watching your videos for a while, And i got to say is i wish i was your age again, You guys have a safe trip , Best of luck.. Ron !
I love how Gus's energy level is 200% and rocking with positive energy!👍 And Gus, you deserve a hell of a lot more than just a dinner for cutting all that line off Frosty's running gear, that was a hell of a generous thing for you to do that for him. Cold water like that is freaking painful.!!! You are one Rock Solid young man🎉❤
I have a 1989 58EDMY Hatteras now but my previous boat was a 1971 58 Tri Cabin. Hatteras made tanks back then. Pretty much indestructible. I also have a great friend with a 46 Post. We used to sit around and talk about the stuff we'd like to do with our boats and you're living our dream. Now we're a lot older and we cruise around the Chesapeake Bay and talk about this channel and what you're going through. Keep it up! So entertaining!
The wife and I are a young couple who live aboard our 1971 Hatteras 53MY, and we love following along on your adventures. Your recent videos hit close to home as we just spent the last 3 months on the hard grinding blisters and banging out cutlass bearings.😂
I was one of your first subscribers when you brought your first boat from New England to Florida. I love to see a New England person doing great things on the water. Keep up the good work and if I can help in anyway hit me up. Thanks, Gus. Also, if you ever need I’m willing volunteer to crew if I’m lucky enough.
I have the 1980 40' Jersey sportfish the same exact fly bridge, layout, and the same exact interior. The only thing I don't have is the tuna door on the back, and the live bait well, and all my cupboards are wood.
You are the man Gus! That dive to help Ethan was badass! This was a fun episode. When you think of all the sailing vessels in the 1600’s that sailed just where you were it’s historic. Looking forward to the next leg of your trip.
As a lifelong marine mechanic and liveaboard boat owner, I have never had the opportunity to make a trip like that. You really convey the excitement and adventure of your trip. Thank you for the great videos.
Gus. A couple things on the dive op you guys had. First, heat up two gallons of very warm water and fill up your wet suit just before you get in the water. It helps a ton. Second, BCD. lol. You guys got the job done. Nice. Great videos. I love watching the passages. Keep em coming.
Hey Captain Gus! Really enjoy watching your videos and your totally positive attitude. Amazing how creative and resilient you are at problem solving and repairs. VERY IMPRESSIVE work mi amigo! Keep on filming as I learn so much form your escapades and fix it work. Hope to see you on the water in the future on our 45' 2001 Silverton hailing out of Carolina Beach, NC. Be safe and smooth motoring.
LOL, You are talking to someone who has had both. The Cummins 5.9 if a far more reliable, far more efficient mill. There is a nostalgia hanging over the old scavengers but it is a pre WW2 tech and sucked by comparision, @@deanfulford69
Gus started in a 14 ft jon boat after 2 boats moved to a 28 and today bought a 32 your ass had me going and looking at 40 footers I enjoy working on stuff very mechanically inclined I'm 24 wise man said they only get bigger truest statement I ever heard little dirty hands you can have a dream boat for a good price for anyone looking forward to this summer!
at 35:18, you made me laugh so freaking hard my wife was wondering why I was laughing to myself. Had headphones on so she didn't hear what you said LOL. brave souls.
Excellent job young men. Feel the pain of cold water dive warming up. Coast Guard in Kodiak Alaska just saying. Wish I could be there. Some men are born for action. For me it is the juice of live worth living.
Rad trip...there's a Southport Yachts up this way in Gardinder...thought you were there at first...thanks for the good views, good moods, and nautical inspiration!
Great footage. Thank you for taking us along on your journey. An adventurous lad, can not believe you do not have a handful of friends, and crew (night watch) taking the journey with you. Keep living the dream of many young men. Safe and healthy travels
I’ve been kittery Maine to key west Florida and back a Dzn times. Or more. Always went offshore and took 5 days straight to get down there, coming back was always quicker with the Gulf Stream helping and cutting through the cape cod canal. If weather is favorable, off shore is quick, but there’s no denying the inter coastal providing a safer more protected route at a much slower pace.
I took a 19ft Cobia from St. Lawrence River to NYC in 1991 thru the NYS canal system - what a blast. Took us 3 days but most of the time was waiting for the NYS Canal locks, it should've taken us 6 days according to the speed limit charts....the overnight stops were a blast and the hungover days were even better. The best part was making the right turn from Troy locks to the Hudson River, we made it to West Pont for late afternoon cocktails and dinner in NYC. You guys are on the trip of a lifetime! Enjoy.
Love all the Budweiser and Corona ballast on Frosty V. Glad you guys went down through NYC, it's not to be missed. Glad to see you got your aunt involved as well. It's amazing, the 13 ft difference in boat length makes Frosty V look half the size of Bella Rose. Did someone say sausage party? LOL. Don't worry, just have fun.
Glad you enjoyed anchor in Manhasset Bay. I live in Manhasset and I have boated here since I was a kid. Manhasset Bay Marina fuel dock is closed in the winters, but open in the summer. Safe travels!
Man u do it so right 😊 A pleasure to see you doing what you doing. Only one life to live. It is nice to see your enthusiasm and pleasure in your mime. Take care of you all 🍀 Marcus from the Northsea Germany 🇩🇪
It’s a total joy to follow your adventures on the Bella and your buddies on Frosty. Thanks for the great video today … from an old retired US Navy veteran … fair winds following seas to Miami!
Wow, so glad you're back. I want to be on your vessel so bad, but I'll have to settle for mine out here in the Calif. delta. I so spend year round on the delta in my friends 26ft Tollycraft. It's now 2/21at 9:46am. Keep going I'm getting chills of enjoyment. Thanks. Jim Rio Vista, CA. Thanks Gus
I have the same little Diesel heater. Its the best $70 heater I have ever had. I fed mine used fryer oil that I get free from my local Mexican restaurant. Just gotta filter it and dilute with one part diesel to 3 parts oil. Can do the same with used motor oil too.
I gave it a thumbs up before watching knowing is was going to be another great video. I wasn’t disappointed! I’ve been waiting impartiality for this and can’t wait till next week. P.s. Cam is one lucky dude!!😊👍😁
Living up to the name “ IN TOO DEEP “ 👍 I’ve fell through the ice before for just a few seconds and not all the way in . I wouldn’t want to be in as long as you 2 were in.
Ah good old Statue of liberty! 0 to 6 months old we lived in an apartment that had a complete unobstructed view of the Statue of Liberty until we moved to Bruges Belgium.
Your videos are the absolute best!..I love your attitude and abilities! I have a 46ft viking but am in WI! I bought a T shirt, again love living vicariously through you!
Great video, loved it all. What a great attitude to life. Love the fact it wasn’t a wee short video too, great to sit and enjoy for a full hour. Bella Rose looks awesome, worth the hard work. Can’t wait for the next video.

@garyjrsonny Hey Gary, I am burning around 5gph total at 1350rpm doing 8kts. Getting around 1.5 nautical MPG.
You guy's say no " Judging the shape the interior is in" . I'm Judging how FEAKING jealous I'm that I'm 58 and still working towards doing what you awesome guy's are doing. You are truly living life and the Judging is HELLA!!! Jealous.. Keep rocking it!!!
Missing cost info. Why never say what things cost? It's interesting.

I very much doubt all he got was the dinner. (wink-wink)
Dry as a bone and no vibration. Good job Mr. Marine Mechanic! Because of YOU I have spent 6 months looking for a Hatteras I can afford. Curse you.
Hahahaa.. good ole Gus! 😂😂
Hi Gus and Ethan, i'm so glad you're out of the frosty waters in the north east! I am so proud of you both! This video is really fun ❤Mom (Ethan's)

Been following since the beginning. Better content than any tv on the networks. This 62yo NH resident is loving this. Looking forward to the next one.
Y'know what would be bad ass, a big "In Too Deep" flotilla to the Caribbean and Bahamas. Just a bunch of boats partying it up!!😅
I was one of your first subscribers when you brought your first boat from New England to Florida. I love to see a New England person doing great things on the water. Got to love the 71 series detroit's one of the Toughest most reliable engines ever made💪🏻
Totally agree.
Those Cummins are a better motor.
@carbidegrd1 They may make more power and burn less fuel, but they are know where near as reliable
LOL, You are talking to someone who has had both. The Cummins 5.9 if a far more reliable, far more efficient mill. There is a nostalgia hanging over the old scavengers but it is a pre WW2 tech and sucked by comparision, @@deanfulford69

They’ll find the buns in Florida lol
maybe they, at least some of them, also like a sausage - how boring and droll to be stuck with desires for only one.
Just got a boat and you are a big attribute to me working on everything I think I can not do,,, keep it up my friend
