Human Rights issues get resolved in the courts after some parliament or legislature pass laws that MAY offend a human's rights. The poll is informative .. but 'liberal democracy" has guard rails. 80 percent in a poll might support ending something YOU value.

How is this controversial?? As a biological women and as a mother of a biological daughter we have the right to feel safe and secure in the most vulnerable public spaces such as change rooms/washrooms, Charter of Rights and Freedom specifies this.
Everyone should be able to feel safe and protected and not just one sub set of the population, be given preferential treatment over the rest.

Remember last year when the media went out of their way to report on Provarov from Philly not coming out for warm ups with the LGBT jersey, they could've let him sit in the locker room and no one would've noticed but they wanted to make a story out of it and shame him, when it backfired and Bettman said the NHL would no longer do the rainbow tape/jerseys for warm ups did the media take responsibility for essentially ruining pride night? Nope they doubled down on calling everyone bigots and I remember Sid losing it almost crying saying Provarov should be punished etc. That's when I knew who this guy really was

I'm not either a definitive Liberal or Conservative. My Wife and I actually voted for Trudeau on his first term because we believed the country needed what he brought to the table at that time in our history. But what we now both believe, for certain today, is that Poilievre is what Canada needs now. The priorities and the miss management of tax payers money by Trudeau, has put this country in a state of financial crisis. There is zero accountability from Trudeau. Poilievre understands that if we can't pay for services, there just won't be any. I say, do what really needs to be done and balance the books, and get Canada in the black. Once we see that the country is on track then there will truly be a bounty of money to support what us Canadians really need. Which is a healthy, happy, compassionate, caring, welcoming to all and prosperous Canada.
