"Shame": Trudeau responds to Poilievre remark that female spaces should be "exclusively for females"

- Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said at a Wednesday news conference that he believed "biological males" have no place in women's sports or female change rooms.
He was asked about his position on whether transgender women should be allowed in spaces that are labelled for women and whether he would introduce any legislation to stop it. Poilievre replied saying he believes "female spaces should be exclusively for females, not for biological males."
Speaking from Edmonton later in the day, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded by attacking Poilievre for his comments, accusing the Opposition Leader of driving political wedges and sowing division rather than focusing on offering "concrete solutions” for issues facing Canadians. “Shame on them,” Trudeau said.
Earlier this month, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's controversial plan to prevent those under the age of 18 from accessing gender-related therapies, such as hormones and puberty blockers, sparked heated debates and protests across the country.

Poilievre didn’t go off on the LGBTQ community! He was standing up for women’s rights!! Full stop!
Poilievre said he was against biological males in females spaces. A majority of Canadians are for that also.

Poilievre spent 100% of the time answering the question he was asked. Trudeau spent 5% of the time responding to Poilievre and 95% of the time say how much Poilievre was 'deflecting'

Canada is now $1.4 Trillion in debt. $46.5 Billion in debt servicing charges annually. Not something Trudeau wants to talk about.
It's ridiculous how the govt is getting worked up over this. Can we focus on issues like, oh I don't know, AFFORDABILITY and INFLATION.
There was a time when I would have been happy if he'd just step down but at this point i wanna see him charged and put in jail. I remember a time when we were free of debt, fuel was cheap, mortgages were cheap, a family of eight could buy groceries for less than $150 per week and Canadians always came first. Now we may never recover from the mess that this clown and his butt buddies have made.
