@@thedude9941 actually it helped only in the sense of nostalgia and pocket books. Is that a direct quote from somewhere? Because i call bullshit big time. There is interviews after interviews of Mick stating he wanted to go on with Corabi. He thought it was a better version of Crue. And holds the '94 album as one of their best. Mick never liked Vince either. You are basing it off the Dirt movie? Because most of that shit is bullshit. They got back with Vince because the record company forced them too because of the bad sells of '94. They did not want too. Even though Nikki seems to want to rewrite history on that fact. Loved the '94 Crüe album, I think the band should've been renamed "The Crüe" or something else, then it would've worked. Even though John is the superior singer, it's not Mötley without Vince.
I agree compleatly with this statement. A lot of people looked at van Halen back then and said "a different singer can work" but van Halen was a different band when they got Sammy. I think the van Hagar band got a lot of new and different fans with those albums. Motley should of changed with corabi
Usually when you replace a singer you get someone who sounds at least vaguely similar. But Corabi sounds absolutely nothing like Vince Neil. Vince sings in that high whiny tenor. Corabi is a growling baritone. So it just sounds SO wrong. Unlike, say, Brian Johnson singing Bon Scott song.
@@LuisMartinez-ft9or Yeah right, now look how it turned out, both Hagar and Anthony have stable careers with Circle and the amazing Chickenfoot. While Van Halen is just fucking done for, and to make things worse, they dragged David back there ruining his solo career as well.

Fan since Too Fast For Love. Mötley Crüe was the best album. Period.
Love Corabi but Neil is Crue change the name and its a diff story
Razor Roberts most bands who change singers need time to make the listener allow the singer to make the old songs and make them his own.
Agree
Lol Vince doesn't even sing half of the time. He relies on the crowd to sing for him. He sounded awful when I saw them on their final tour. They really should have stuck with John Corabi
If you say that Neil is Crue then you must really fucking hate motley crue.
This is good.
Problem here, it now sounds like any other rock band.... same thing with Van Halen, you just can't swap the original guy everybody loves, Vince n Dave make these old-school bands Complete no mater the sound of the voice it fits the world of these bands so much better. You can't change the force these guys become together, never break that Mold
Except Sammy broke the mold replacing Dave in VH same as Brian Johnson did with AC/DC.
@@MrDuds1984 AND Bruce Dickinson did with Iron Maiden. AND Steve Perry did with Journey. 🤷♂️
If John was just the front man with no guitar i reckon this would have sat better with everyone.... motley wasnt a dual guitar band, if John just concentrated on being a front man soley i reckon this would ve had legs
Mick Mars: "We need to bring back Vince".
Yet look at the crap they put out when Vince came back.
Mecha Slasher 88 that’s Nikki not Vince. Vince doesn’t have much input if any creatively
@@bigtommy9715 I was just saying having Vince back didn't really seem to help their reputation so they should've just chanced it with John.
@@thedude9941 actually it helped only in the sense of nostalgia and pocket books. Bringing Vince back and then Tommy coming back for carnival of sins let them ride that wave of nostalgia having the 4 originals all the way to the end.
While there were a handful at most of tolerable songs on saints, it never hurt them selling shows . Which ulti6ia all that mattered at that point.
Fact nonetheless.
This kicks ass!
Haha yeah I love how John pokes fun at Nikki whenever he can.. gotta get your own back somehow lol..
Motley CrueAbi
Agree
Fuck Vince. He's literally one of the worst frontmen ever.
Kinda like Van Halen. Sammy Hagar sounded nothing like David Lee Roth but still kicked ass
Yeah. Corabi was good and did alot for the band but was not Vince Neil. He kinda underrated though.
@@Darkhonor21 No way man. Van Hagar fucking sucked. So did Motley Crue with Crorabi!
It's a curious case, because his voice doesn't suit the songs they made with Vince, but he's unquestionably a better singer.
@@LuisMartinez-ft9or Yeah right, now look how it turned out, both Hagar and Anthony have stable careers with Circle and the amazing Chickenfoot. While Van Halen is just fucking done for, and to make things worse, they dragged David back there ruining his solo career as well.
This just ain’t Motley Crue without Vince
It's a trade off what do you prefer a better singer or original singer who's more fun on stage? Personally I'd rather see original, more exciting live. Even if Vince is singing about Bigmacs and Freddie's gas hahaha that just makes it even more hilarious and fun
What a voice..so awesome
