I did my CBT with Derbyshire Motorbike School and the instructors were all great and very patient. Having never ridden a motorbike before I did do a couple of lessons before my CTB which were invaluable, I was surprised how hard riding a motorbike was as a total novice especially the slow speed stuff, but with plenty of guidance I made it through. I then continued through to do my Direct Access Course (DAS) to gain my full big bike licence. Highly Recommended!
Nice video! Brought back memories😁 Started with you on 50cc, then moved forward to 125cc with Lee. Have ridden a 125cc for a while, then moved to 650cc with Kev. Passed all tests and now awaiting delivery of a 900cc and among others, a tour to France. How awesome is this!!!🥰 I'm definitely living the dream!👍👍
Really informative video Mark, a proper explanation from a proper instructor 👍 I was actually taught how to ride a motorbike by my dad and I remember spending many-a-weekend learning the gears, clutch, maneuvers and so on. So I agree with the importance of the pre-cbt lesson you offer as you suggested. I remember when I did my cbt years ago when you could just show up, and there was a youth that went into the back of me during the cone work 🤣
Unfortunately some people expect just to jump on and ride away because they can drive a car or because a mate says it’s easy 😣. Hopefully the video will help them along the way. Thanks for your kind words it’s much appreciated
I’m wanting to come down and do my cbt soon wanting that more freedom to be able to get around so will definitely be in touch to book in soon thankyou for the helpful video
Brilliant video 😀😎
I've not ridden in 32yrs😱
I'm almost 59
Need to take CBT 😀
Thank you for your kind words. You’re never too old to ride so get yourself booked in for your Cbt 😊
