I know for a FACT that the sole purpose of the "Chunin Exam" is for secondary teams to get their backstories told and for villains to crash it and I STILL sat there with a full Pikachu Face at the curses crashing the party.
The Chunin Exams weren't supposed to be interrupted. Naruto was supposed to be a series about going from village to village. That would take too long so they had him do a tournament. Then they had him end the tournament. The tournament had an actually winner in mind and you can still see elements of that in the story.

So with Toge, he's in a bad situation at the end of the ep, basically the stronger the opponent, the more energy he has to put out and it ultimately stresses him out pretty bad. So he spoke like 4-5 times with each target being bigger and more powerful, you saw in the middle he let out a tiny cough, just him yelling "Don't move" (his last line of the ep), puts him in a pretty bad position. WHICH WORRIES ME TO NO END CAUSE HE'S MY BEST BOY 😭

As entertaining as this show is, it's still a little too tied down to its shounen roots for me to place it up that high. It certainly has the potential, and I hope it leans more into that horror angle that was present in the first cour as it goes on. As it stands now, the story is still a little too aimless for me to get extremely engaged.

yeah that's one of the reasons I'm not a fan of the Juju-strolls at the end however funny they may be. If you add the time of all of them together at the end of the season, you got the time for enough content for an entire episode or 2 more. The opening and ending are already 3-4 mins without story content and then these come along with another 2 minutes. Meanwhile in Re Zero, you get 30 mins episodes of pure story content without op and ed, I'd much prefer it this way for other shows too xD

I think the "you're doping" referred to blood doping, specifically, which is something some athletes have done. It's where you inject yourself with extra blood because more blood = more oxygen = more energy. And blood doping doesn't come up on drug tests.
When he said doping he meant blood doping, it means that he stored his blood in bags and then got the blood put back in so he has larger reserves for a while. It’s a real world thing and it’s against the rules for Athletes to do it in most competitive sports.
What I don't see anyone considering is the moment Inumaki yells for Kamo and Fushiguro to run away. His cursed speech is forcing their bodies to start running instantly. So they likely moved before they even got to process wth is going on properly. Just imagine that your body starts running but you don't even know what from yet.

I think the "you're doping" referred to blood doping, specifically, which is something some athletes have done. It's where you inject yourself with extra blood because more blood = more oxygen = more energy. And blood doping doesn't come up on drug tests.
