When he said to Tommy “ it says right here you’re gonna give me 100% of your company! It says right here on the contract it’s perfectly legal , now sign it “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No he was saying that it was a scene that didn’t happen but it was going to. It just showed the scene where it would happen. Grace would stand and say her line, and Tommy’s mother and Charlie would be on the horse behind her but it was scrapped for just grace considering we haven’t seen his mother or his brother
The thing with Tommy is he has a specific and unique understanding of the culture of the environment in which he lives and that surrounds him and instead of fighting it he manipulates it for his and the Blinders purposes both in a macro and micro manner and that is his true genius. I would venture to guess this is why he is so appealing to us instead of appalling and that is the genius behind the writing and Cillian Murphy’s ability to channel that writing in such a compelling way.
Season 5 opens and ends with Arthur asking tommy “what do we to do Tom?” The scene where Arthur reads the letter to Tom and in the dressing room after the failed killing.

The term "peaky blinder" comes from the peaky cap and the way the hats tilt over the eye to either side. It originated in the 1800s when Brummies would wear a bowler style hat tilted down to display their hairstyle which would be longer on one side.
