Ill be honest. And the way you could literally go anywhere from the start basically was amazing Plus the fighting was made in a way that if you learned it you could go to high level enemies and kill them/cheese them and that felt great (once I spent like 10 minutes beating some troll with starting sword xD)
It’s a good game. I been visiting Reality Pump in Krakow and test the game in early stage. Had absolutely great time playing it there. Got a tshirt for testing crew and my name in credits.
I played this on the Xbox 360, and I exclusively played the multiplayer with friends. It was a blast! You play from the antagonist's perspective, and build your own little town. You could definitely check this out in solo. It even had PVP!
It is a nice game, with very interesting magic system. The sad thing is they got greedy and added micro-trandaction .., in what is essentially a single player game. And added anti cheat drm for what I essentially a single player game.

i played this game back on 360 when it first came out when i was first really getting into these western style rpg's, at the the time i really enjoyed it but didnt really understand the systems well, later on i found your video explaining a bit more about the insane magic system in this game, and with how open the game is you can just sail to random islands for no reason, its pretty awesome for its time i like it a lot, and thank you for showing me what this game can really do!
Base game was very good, but I enjoyed Pirates of the flying fortress even more. Yes, it's not the best game ever, but it's enjoyable, fun, not ugly, not stupid, I reccomend it. Can't say the same thing about the first Two worlds. That one was weird. I like it a bit, but the second one is far superior. And please, play Pirates of the flying fortress. It's full of weird creatures, silly quests and the main quest is also not bad.
Both games were crammed with cool or interesting ideas, but the execution and overall quality of both was...pretty awful in respect to the first, and better but still lacking with the second. I still play and enjoy them both to some extent, now and then, but often I'm just left with the feeling both were ultimately a missed opportunity due to a blend of too much ambition and too little development experience.
Most the people from the company went on to make the Witcher games. Which makes sense tbh cause now that I think of it I've always wondered cause it always felt like some of the mechanics from the Witcher were taken from two worlds 2.
I remember when it came out critics said it was a massive improvement over the 1st. Maybe a third would have been good all-around but it looks like we'll never know :(
@@ethanwasme4307It was announced nearly a decade ago, but I haven't seen anything on it since. I feel like the publisher has bastardized Two Words 2 in recent years. I don't trust them doing justice to the property anymore.
See this is bittersweet lol. I played on PS3 and, in retrospect and my opinion, this game was magnificent. Yes, the boss fights were just meh, but the story you play through was similar to a good book that kept me anticipating what was on the next page, granted I was only 13 at the time. The magic system was so much fun to play with even in multiplayer. I remember quite vividly chatting with some people in multiplayer for hours and hours as we thought up some insane spells and we wound up linking magic cards for magic missle, ricochet, and vortex with multishot, speed boost, and explosion magic. What we got was a single cast spell that, while we zoomed through the map, we launched unending missles that were bouncing off of everything and steadily dragging the corpses right behind us to loot at the end.
stubby arms 2 it blows my mind the size of this explorable space, and then you can WALK (oh sail) to the other continets/islands. The biggest dissapointment was realising the biggest island was a multiplayer only zone.....
Yeah, I visited it once I was finished and didn't find much. DLCs could actually have used that existing space for endgame content or so, but now it's probably too late.
oh seriously THAT's where the multiplayer area is? i had no idea. I just assumed it was the location of the first game kept for "lore reasons" on the map. Definitely was disappointed when i leapt in there and got force teleported out.
I loved this game back then. Even got the collectors edition. It was really fun and I was given an extra code for the multiplayer were you could play with a friend and build up a village. It was awesome to see they had a different coop mode from the main game.
What I never understood about this game, is that it's an open world game that starts on a small island, goes to a bigger island, then a slightly smaller island, and then when you FINALLY get into the big continent on the map, it's just a small swamp and nothing else. I remember being extremely disappointed by the fact that I couldn't explore the huge continent that you could still see on the map. I believe the continent is in use in the multiplayer, but I never got to play it so yeah. Game was pretty enjoyable otherwise though. But every time I think about this game, I think about the disappointment when I found out the big continent is not actually part of the main game.
I remember being so confused with this fact that I swam all the way to the third continent by myself. You could walk on a little shore and, if I'm not mistaken, even fight some enemies but couldn't actually enter it. What a bummer
Yeah that really sucked to find out you couldnt explore Eiolas I think it was called, just the swampland and some really cool areas around the entire border. when I got there I genuinely thought "oh good now the real part of the game is available" thought it would be like the forests of TW1.. they did intend to make it a playable area but they publisher forced them to release the game wayyy too early. I did find a way to explore it in PC with console commands and there are roads / paths but not fully textured out and no beautiful plant life like the rest of the game. the second I started Witcher 3 I said this is what two worlds 2 was going to be if they had time to finish it. I think they actually took alot inspiration from parts of Two Worlds 2.
@@duhotatoday3277You can. You just need to create water walking potion and head straight to the continent. Unfortunately the game will just load you in the corridors if the Gandahar fortress if I remember correctly. I remember when I was a child and was too scared to fight through the dungeon of giant scorpions that I went straight to second continent and triggered dialogue to start 2 chapter next. I am thinking about speedruning the game to be honest, because a lot of things can be skipped or cheesed.
Honestly love the Two Worlds series. Now if I could only finish a saved game for once. I have started the games over multiple times and quite honestly if I had to start the games over again I wouldn't mind as there are different ways to play them. Anyway eh I enjoyed the video and look forward to seeing more from you in the future like say a Gothic 1 Remake video or videos when it comes out. : )
I played through this game up until the third area. It was pretty decent, and I absolutely loved the magic system, but once I realized there was no incentive to explore outside of quests I completely lost interest. There's this massive open world and the game basically does nothing with it, it feels like it was trying to compete with Oblivion without really understanding what made Oblivion work.
The upgrading system was okay, but the inability to buy materials directly in-game (and the fact that lower-cost equipment, which you MUST destroy to get materials for upgrading, mostly stops being sold as you level up) makes it functionally impossible to fully upgrade equipment in the base game (I haven't played much DLC so I can't comment on those). This is especially true for certain equipment types which have much rarer materials like chainmail.
The first one was way better than the second imo. I hate how you can't explore the mainland in the second game. When I played it I didn't have internet and no one plays the multiplayer on console when I tried with internet so that's a massive part of the map that I never got to look at for even one single second. The first game was literally amazing and I've put thousands of dollars into it. The people who hate it have good reasons but if you love the first game you know what makes it amazing.
You can see the development direction change in TT2. While the first two chapters looked up to The Elder Scrolls, the third chapter is more like Dragon Age. And the ending was just a huge rush. The latest DLC was trying to be like The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine but turned out to be a complete disaster. The devs were taking more than they could chew. The Pirate of Flying Fortress is descent enough for the dev team to envision upon.
I'm glad there is at least one other person out there that appreciates this underrated RPG for what it is. It didn't set out to be the next Skyrim or Witcher, it was just a decent AA RPG and that's fine with me!
Have you played Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness? It's a recent RPG in the style of Original Sin 2, Pillars of Eternity etc. Sadly it seems to have flown completely under the radar. It's actually a great game.
Two Worlds, one of my favorite RPG worlds. Honestly feel like there were some sick loremasters behind the scenes. Played a few games of D&D where Anthaloor is the setting and boy does it work well.
Thank you for this awesome video it served me as a reminder about this game I was born 2002 and hence i've only started to seek out and play older rpg classics the last 5-6 years but I have vague memories of actually trying to play Two Worlds 2 back in 2010-2011 but had forgotten the name of the game completely as i was too young to get it really but i remember the magic system fondly it had captured my interest back in the day and i distinctly remember sitting in a field and just going through different spells to see what they do as english is my second language im pretty sure i barely knew a few words at that point let alone be able to comprehend the plot or dialogue. Anyhow amazing video thank you
My head canon for the end is the big bad was evil but he wanted control and domination while the demon wanted nothing but death and that’s why he was keeping your sister alive. Makes it a tad bit better. Not a whole lot but it’s better than the I’m actually a good person twist
After watching your video, I'm purchasing this game at this very moment!!! I've pretty much played all the mainstream stuff and I only got to play the first version of this game for a few minutes but this one absolutely looks like fun !! Excellent video mate !!🎉❤
Man I haven't thought about Two worlds in a long time, these games were guilty pleasures for me, the first one I had a lot of fun playing co-op with some buddies on the Xbox. The magic system was a great idea and only Tyranny tried something similar.
One of my top 5 all time games, the magic system is fun to play with, the voice acting sucks and I love it for that reason, the armour sets and weapon types are great and it's just a great game, horse riding sucks though
My brother loaned me this game when it came out and then moved across the US. I just found it in a box moving into my new house and came directly to this video to see if it sucks. I am pretty excited to play it after watching this. Looks fun as hell despite the strange graphics and flaws. The magic system looks so fun. Thanks for making this, I am sick of Warframe and was so ready for a magical world of random stuff to murder lol.
The music was amazing in TW2. I still have the tracks in my head, especially the arabic/desert type ... This is BTW also the case with Gothic 3, as I mentioned in my review of it, sometimes I would just visit the desert to sit and listen. BTW I have the statuete of Cassara sitting atop my pc desk since 2010.
I mean it is the only game in my memory in which mighty hero fights monkeys and other animals for half of the game. Never got past the desert continent, tho I liked this game a lot when I was young
I bought this game years ago and haven't really played it much, I didn't hate it at all I just had more interesting things going on at the time lol. I might boot it up again soon to finally give it a fair chance.
I mostly agree with your conclusions. The three primary combat types, Melee, Archery and Magic, all work well and are quite viable. One weakness of TW2 over the first is that stats are dumbed down so each corresponds to one of the three styles, which strongly disincentivizes using more than one style. That said, it's worth noting that you can use some melee abilities with a magic staff, and the more powerful magic staffs actually do good elemental damage. Magic is by far my favorite (I actually liked Magic in the first Two Worlds, which I think ends up being far superior to Melee and Archery in that game), with a good variety of spell effects you can use. My favorite spell is what I call the Summon Swarm, using a Spray modifier with a Summon effect, letting me summon three or more creatures at once. In fact, summons can get so powerful that the game gets mostly trivial iirc. The invisibility spell is very powerful, useful even for non-mages. It lets you pickpocket and backstab enemies who otherwise would be very difficult to approach from behind most of the time. You can pickpocket Mutated Hearts from Varns, amusingly. The first area is very sizable, but each act/chapter adds a much smaller region to explore. I am guessing they spent most of their budget/time on the first chapter then had to make the later areas much more quickly. The world map makes it seem like there's another huge area to the North, but when you actually get there, you can only explore a tiny part of it. The ship (or using a waterwalking spell) can let you explore outside the islands a little bit, but there's so little to find and it takes quite a while to traverse. The cities in the first chapter are pretty cool, giving you a lot to explore and steal if you want. The single city in the second chapter is also decent but far smaller. I really liked the lockpicking minigame, but the pickpocketing minigame requires a few points or you're guaranteed to lose sometimes. There's actually a Guitar Hero-esque rhythm game you can play to get money from NPCs, but in my experience it's way, way too difficult for anything other than the Drum. Like you said, the story makes some twists that don't really add up, so the story itself is fairly weak. It doesn't help that they basically throw out the story of the first game, contradicting how you ended things there (and even spells the protag's sister's name differently). Even without that, the ending is seriously weak with Dar Pha just ditching you out of nowhere. (I don't know if it's ever stated explicitly, but I think she's also either not an Orc or not fully an Orc?) It's not outright stated, but I think the 'swallows' are the replacement for the 'taint' in the first game, a term which they ditched for obvious reasons... You didn't mention the multiplayer segment but it's very limited compared to the relative freedom you have in the single player campaign. I played and enjoyed it, but each area is constrained, forcing you to go through a linear path to progress. You can't do any dice or music minigames iirc and cannot steal at all. You can have your own little village if you want, and making the right purchases for buildings makes earning money trivial (looking up the right ones to purchase online is strongly advisable).
You can go with a boat from act 2 to thr giant continent that is low key advertised by the game but where you never but in the final fight get to. You will discover some half implemented game content like some tribal jungle people which is obviously cut content.
Two Worlds two is more like "a second attempt at Two Worlds 1." The story is essentially the same, certain mechanics are better, but the cringe of TW1 that made it so unique is largely gone and the scope of the game is smaller. I don't know if the map of TW2 is smaller than TW1 but it definitely feels smaller. And the combat somehow feels worse than TW1 if you can believe that
It just warms my heart when i see someone posting about two worlds 2 and gothic 3 or Witcher 1 which only got ruined and comercialized later Since they are not so popular I know people who play them and love them feel that magic in them Play Age of Decadence if you didn't, you will love it there are no words for that game, its made out of pure love
19:36 You can barely backstab anything in the game, and it's nearly impossible to make use of it past the beginning without using magic to turn invisible.
This game was alot of my childhood. It was a good game to me it was all I had on my PS3 for a while. I was to young to be good at it tho. I wish I could get it now
I feel like in many aspects this game was an improvement from the first one, but also regressed in other aspects. I do like that in this series the Orcs aren't necessarily the villains as they often are in a lot of fantasy stories in various western RPGs who kind of just borrow that aspect from traditional fantasy stories written by some of the greats like Tolkien for example. I also like that about The Elder Scrolls series because throughout various games in that series certain groups are villains but not necessarily one race or another as a whole. Granted I vastly prefer The Elder Scrolls over Two Worlds one or two, but I suppose that goes without saying, doesn't it? lol XD
When I was like 14 or so I use to play the heck out of two worlds 1. It always felt cool, I didn't care for the story or anything like that, I just enjoyed some of the mechanics. PLUS I mean I didn't have like 420 games back then like I do now. Only like 30. Also the game on steam I'm pretty sure use to be positive, but then they released a "cash grab" DLC a few years back, from what I gathered last time I looked on the games page.
I loved TW1 for all its flaws but heard mixed things about 2. Should it be played vanilla or with the mod that removes the linearity and lets you explore the world like in the first game?
As somebody who grew up poor and never was able to buy the latest final fantasy or RPG, Two Worlds II was one of those budget RPGs that you bought because it was cheap. And when you played it you realized WHY it was so cheap. It wasnt a masterpiece but it was entertaining and a decent way to pass the time.
i love the original Two Worlds. The voice acting is hilarious, and the gameplay is good. It's an extremely challenging game, particularly at the start, and I feel a lot of the hate it got was due to the terrible VA and difficulty, which made most people assume it was awful without playing it for too long. It still has one of the best magic systems of any rpg and the equipment system is also very good. I never played Two Worlds 2 because I heard it had slightly better mechanics but less of the hilariously bad VA, which to me sounded like a generic average rpg. However, based on this review I think I will have to check it out because it looks rather good.
Honestly I like this game alot only thing that was bad as the fact your never go to largest island on the map besides being stuck in a small swamp I would love to just see a bigger game.
I seem to be having more fun and sense of adventure with janky yesteryear games; Risen 3, Elex 2, Two Worlds 2, Arcania G4 The Coplete Edition...far more than modern rpgs. Even the bad scripta, voice overs are actualky funny rathar than a bore of being serious.
What? THQ Nordic acquired Gunfire Games/Remnant: From the Ashes? Huh. Interesting. I was pleased with Perfect World being the publisher. Although I won't play it (yet, still skipped the spoilers), I enjoy hearing your thoughts on Two Worlds II. Remembering I had the first one on Xbox 360 makes me remember the other Xbox 360 RPGs that I had and would want to revisit. Kingdom Under Fire, Magna Carta 2, Infinite Undiscovery, Spectral Force 3, and Enchanted Arms come to my mind. I swear the characters in Star Ocean: The Last Hope looked better in my memories on Xbox 360 than it does remastered on PS4. I don't have much to say about Two Worlds II. I'm glad they acknowledge the existence of Asians. Unlike Elder Scrolls where they are apparently extinct. I'm not letting that go. I'll only get angrier in time.
This game is perfect definition of 7+/10 RPG, with many cool ideas. (like quest, when you are send to Kill "monkeys" which stole tools of workers, just to learn "workers" was prisoners of some bandits and becuase you waste time on monkeys they rob all of workers and just left with all thier stuff XD I love this type of quest, when Devs make laugh of Player mentality XD
To this day TW2 has one of (if not THE) best magic customization systems i've ever used. This is what happens when you try to make a game fun instead of balanced.
I like both of these games.....Two Worlds 1 I'd give a 7 which means above average.....6 being just passable two worlds 2 I'd give an 8 good to great.....even with it's flaws I found it to be fun I played both during gen 7's lifecycle....
After completing the game some years ago, I have the feeling that it could've been a great game if the devs had more people and resources. Or, maybe, a couple of really talented guys. As it stands, the game is still okay. Not stellar, but not terrible, either.
It really sucked to find out you couldnt explore Eiolas I think it was called (the main continent, just the swampland and some really cool areas around the entire border. when I got there I genuinely thought "oh good now the real part of the game is available" thought it would be like the forests of TW1.. they did intend to make it a playable area but the publisher forced them to release the game wayyy too early. Just going to ask this is there a link in the description to buy this on digital for Xbox series X and if I can is it compatible on the Xbox series X I think it is but I might have to use the PayPal on my phone to buy instead of Xbox gift if I still want it digital lol
I enjoyed Two Worlds quite a bit back in the day. I haven't tried the sequel, but I'm tempted to give it a try. Looks like it is pretty creative. I"m glad to hear that the music is very good. For me, sound is more important than graphics. I can forgive 'dated' graphics quite easily as long as a game has music that is worth listening to. Too bad that the sound effects aren't better, but they seem to be better than some game I have played. Glad that the voice acting is good. Games who have terrible voice acting get to be annoying after a while. I really like Elder Scrolls games, but the way they reuse faces, voices and items can be rather annoying if I allow myself to focus on it. Glad that Two Worlds is better about having variety. Too bad that the DLC isn't consistently as good as the base game. I rarely buy DLC, but when I do, I expect it to be as good or better than the base game to make it worth paying for. Thanks for warning us away from them. Great review!
I feel crazy that i love this game. The Park system, the freedom, the huge map with very Varied biomes, the combat, the atmosphere, the music, the weapon upgrade system, the armor Sets, the maguc system, the Arche gameplay. I absolutely love it i'm thinking about Selling my xbox series x and buying a 360 again just for gems like these. I really don't get how people can hate this game and then praise skyrim (wich i think is one of the most boring rpg's ever)

What we got was a single cast spell that, while we zoomed through the map, we launched unending missles that were bouncing off of everything and steadily dragging the corpses right behind us to loot at the end.
Seriously, TW and TW2 looks like a damn decent series to take a closer look at 🙏💪🤔
I am small amount of people who liked both games.
stubby arms 2
it blows my mind the size of this explorable space, and then you can WALK (oh sail) to the other continets/islands.
Super underrated game. I always end up using magic since it is quite fun mixing cards and learning new spells
Literally the video I was looking for after binge-watching your content lately. Gonna be a great watch!
It very much felt like a confused game alright.
This game was amazing the card system for summoning and spells was so awesome and unique
a memory i had was getting on top of the roofs in a town and finding items the developers hid... i like that this game never took itself seriously...
One of my favorite RPGs. I had a blast with this game. The magic system is amazing! The open world was fun to explore, and the soundtrack is so good!
Have you played Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness? It's a recent RPG in the style of Original Sin 2, Pillars of Eternity etc. Sadly it seems to have flown completely under the radar. It's actually a great game.
It looks fairly bland.
I enjoy watching in-depth analysis of lesser known RPG's. I'm curious what other obscure RPGs are out there.
Two Worlds, one of my favorite RPG worlds. Honestly feel like there were some sick loremasters behind the scenes. Played a few games of D&D where Anthaloor is the setting and boy does it work well.
I am curious to play this game since your video regarding it's magic system. I always play as a mage and this game seems perfect for a mage playstyle
It had fighting on Horseback which was the best aspect of the game for the short time i spent playing
Qwombat is such a good nickname for a good warrior with an accent
For me a true classic, great memories...
They announced two worlds 3 and next gen update for TW 2 but im not sure if that message ever left Poland
The sound keeps bugging out, the ocean / wind noise get extremely overwhelming and it doesnt go away after 5-10 minutes in
I mostly agree with your conclusions.
(I don't know if it's ever stated explicitly, but I think she's also either not an Orc or not fully an Orc?)
It's not outright stated, but I think the 'swallows' are the replacement for the 'taint' in the first game, a term which they ditched for obvious reasons...
*That maze in the cave was a pain to do without a decent map and right at the start i got some dragon armour that was bis!!*
And the combat somehow feels worse than TW1 if you can believe that
It just warms my heart when i see someone posting about two worlds 2 and gothic 3 or Witcher 1 which only got ruined and comercialized later
Since they are not so popular I know people who play them and love them feel that magic in them
Play Age of Decadence if you didn't, you will love it there are no words for that game, its made out of pure love
The melee abilities were a huge improvement in Two Worlds 2 over the first game, where abilities existed but were really, really bad.
The multiplayer is worth it
19:36 You can barely backstab anything in the game, and it's nearly impossible to make use of it past the beginning without using magic to turn invisible.
Granted I vastly prefer The Elder Scrolls over Two Worlds one or two, but I suppose that goes without saying, doesn't it? lol XD
such a beautiful world... really sold me that i was in the Mediterranean
I had a lot of fun with the multiplayer when this game dropped
When I was like 14 or so I use to play the heck out of two worlds 1. It always felt cool, I didn't care for the story or anything like that, I just enjoyed some of the mechanics. PLUS I mean I didn't have like 420 games back then like I do now. Only like 30.
Also the game on steam I'm pretty sure use to be positive, but then they released a "cash grab" DLC a few years back, from what I gathered last time I looked on the games page.
why isnt there a video about Two Worlds 1 yet?
I loved TW1 for all its flaws but heard mixed things about 2. Should it be played vanilla or with the mod that removes the linearity and lets you explore the world like in the first game?
Do you know the webseries Sordahon's Journey ? It strongly reflects the vibes of the old UA-cam.
i subbed to ya because of Outward content ---
im glad i subbed, because ya keep introducing us some interesting games
As somebody who grew up poor and never was able to buy the latest final fantasy or RPG, Two Worlds II was one of those budget RPGs that you bought because it was cheap. And when you played it you realized WHY it was so cheap. It wasnt a masterpiece but it was entertaining and a decent way to pass the time.
I wasn't excited for the sequel but surprised, i still remember the labyrinth dungeons from the first area.
👍
I just started playing it and now I can't stop lol!
I play right now on my PS3.... online in 2023...lol
Good game...
Good vidéo...❤
i love the original Two Worlds.
I think you might be the only person ever who played a melee fighter in this game.
Dis you played the mod from gothic 2 called Odissey? I'm having a blast, its amazing and no one talk about it
Another great video and content.
Honestly I like this game alot only thing that was bad as the fact your never go to largest island on the map besides being stuck in a small swamp I would love to just see a bigger game.
You've convinced me to try it, I love AA RPGs.
I remember loving Two Worlds and hoping for a sequel when I finished it. Then I never played the sequel.
I really like the music minigames.
I really hated the first game and couldn’t dream about playing a sequel… Fun to hear a bit nuanced critique!
I'll only get angrier in time.
the base game had a lot of multiplayer stuff if I remember correctly, doubt any are playing it anymore though
I enjoyed this game when I played it, never understood the hate. All RPGs of that era had some jank.
The valid hate are the unjustified anti cheat drm and microtransaction in what is a single player game.
The two worlds games have the best armor and weapon visual and itemizations.
I've always thought Reality Pump, Piranha Bytes, and Spyders should have teamed up to make a AAA game.
This game is perfect definition of 7+/10 RPG, with many cool ideas. (like quest, when you are send to Kill "monkeys" which stole tools of workers, just to learn "workers" was prisoners of some bandits and becuase you waste time on monkeys they rob all of workers and just left with all thier stuff XD
I love this type of quest, when Devs make laugh of Player mentality XD
To this day TW2 has one of (if not THE) best magic customization systems i've ever used. This is what happens when you try to make a game fun instead of balanced.
I like both of these games.....Two Worlds 1 I'd give a 7 which means above average.....6 being just passable
two worlds 2 I'd give an 8 good to great.....even with it's flaws I found it to be fun
I played both during gen 7's lifecycle....
For a second my brain wanted Two Worlds 2 ..
I got it when it came out, it's honestly not bad. I had fun with it
Good and interesting review. Good job!
Bonus round : drink every time you hear ,,if you ask me" xD
After completing the game some years ago, I have the feeling that it could've been a great game if the devs had more people and resources. Or, maybe, a couple of really talented guys.
As it stands, the game is still okay. Not stellar, but not terrible, either.
Just started playing it. Its ok. Controls are frustrating. But as a rpg fan. I give this 7/10
It really sucked to find out you couldnt explore Eiolas I think it was called (the main continent, just the swampland and some really cool areas around the entire border. when I got there I genuinely thought "oh good now the real part of the game is available" thought it would be like the forests of TW1.. they did intend to make it a playable area but the publisher forced them to release the game wayyy too early. I did find a way to explore it on PC with console commands and there are roads / paths but not fully textured out and no beautiful plant life like the rest of the game. the second I started Witcher 3 I said this is what two worlds 2 was going to be if they had time to finish it. I think they actually took alot inspiration from parts of Two Worlds 2 like the natural world designe, things as little as the massive ammount of shrubs moving when walking through them.
You can use console commands on ps3 for this game
