Here's my best list: 1. Kiss Me More - Doja Cat & SZA 2. Save Your Tears - The Weeknd & Ariana Grande 3. Levitating - Dua Lipa 4. I hope you have a better 2022 Mark. I look forward to Billboard breakdown more than the actual charts nowadays and year end lists like this. Amazing stuff!
Here's to a 2022 of recovery, cheer, and hopefully no wild attacks from BTS stans. I'm still so sorry that happened to you, Mark. I don't agree with you on everything, but you're a smart reviewer who tells it like it is, despite what certain circles of the internet want to hear.
@@lmnqhlsthtq just to clarify because I'm not sure what you were saying entirely, he got attacked by BTS fans for talking about how they manipulate sales to get to the number one spot?
The fact that I loved all the songs on the canadian contenders (and would definitely include all of them in my top 10 if they made the US year end), it goes to show that even if Canada went through some nonsense and stale progression with the real life situation going on, our music taste still stays consistently great for sure.
can I say in terms of editing, the way you improved the song panels so the music videos and the titles overlap each other is just perfect. I look at it and go "damn. Take a look at that. Looks good :)"
When I saw the number 5, I literally screamed: "WOAH!!!". I absolutely love this song (would probably be in my top 3), but I did NOT expect you to place it THAT high!! Easily the best thing he's ever done!
Great list. And here's my best hit songs of 2021 list: 1-Silk Sonic-Leave The Door Open 2-Lil' Nas X feat. Jack Harlow-Industry Baby 3-Adele-Easy On Me 4-The Weeknd-Take My Breath 5-SZA-Good Days 6-Olivia Rodrigo-good 4 u 7-The Weeknd-Save Your Tears 8-Giveon-Heartbreak Anniversary 9-Doja Cat feat. Firstly, people need to look at the description. Mark acknowledged his mistake. Secondly, I forgot about most of these songs. I didn't listen to a lot of modern music this year! 😅
People on Reddit told me that people who misgender, even accidently, get arrested nowdays - especially when referring to Canadians like Sam Smith. Looks like Mark is spending new year behind bars.
@@mutate34 Yeah, I did. 'Diamonds' was a hit in Canada. But you said "especially when referring to Canadians like Sam Smith", and that implied to me that you thought Sam Smith was Canadian, which they're not.
Could not agree stronger with your #1. I was for sure going into the year that Levitating was gonna be my #1, but damn, Rapstar hit so, so hard for me. Rappers and singers talking about how fame has negatively impacted them is nothing new, but I have a hard time thinking of anyone who made me feel their pain as much as Polo G
I'm glad I'm not the only person who likes "No More Parties". The production is low-key trap mixed with pianos but I think it sounds nice and Coi Leray's Playboi Carti-like delievery worked for me. 👍 *Edit:* Also, I'm already enjoying "Get Into It (Yuh)" more even though it also has that Playboi Carti influence.
The thing about this decade's music for me personally was how my favorite song in general of the year didn't make the Year-End, but the fact that my favorite "hit" song of the year was also the biggest one made up for it. Best use of a monkey's paw ever!
My list 20. Famous friends(Chris & Kane Brown) 19. Heartbreak anniversary(Giveon) 18. Good days(SZA) 17. Happier than ever(Billie Eilish) 16. Therefore I am(Billie Eilish) 15. Calling the guitars on the second half of "Happier Than Ever" absolute garbage is a bit harsh in my opinion. It's one of my favorite songs of this year if only because I was so surprised at how hard the song shifts into a raw and brutal mess where Billie Eilish can't hold herself back anymore and completely loses it once the second half of the song kicks in. Nevertheless, I respect how you justify what some may consider to be unorthodox picks for your list, and I'm not here to tell anyone what songs should or shouldn't have been on their lists.
My (personal) top 10 10: Latto - Big energy 9: Kanye west - Off the Grid ft Playboi carti & Fivio foreign 8: T-pain - I like dat 7: Drake - You only live twice ft Lil wayne and Rick ross 6: Lil Nas X - Industry baby ft Jack Hallow 5: Baby keem & Kendrick lamar - Family ties 4: Lil nas X - Sun Goes Down 3: Chris Stapleton - You should probably leave 2: Rod wave - Tombstone 1: Silk sonic - Put on a smile

Lists like this are why Mark is still my favorite reviewer on the platform. No pretense of sophistication or objectivism, but always reminding us that music is meant to create different emotional reactions. In an internet circle where you can be destroyed for praising a "bad" album or song (see: Tickets to my Downfall) or criticizing a "good" album or song (see: DONDA), Mark remains proudly himself and it's honestly inspiring. I fist pumped the air when My Ex's Best Friend made the list, that's how much I loved this ranking.

Not a fan of both of these bands despite I like some of their songs of both bands but I feel their production is dreamy on how this collab is awesome is. Also, I put "Butter" as my Dishonorable Mention since I have a mixed reactions towards the production and its mass-buying controversy and I trust Mark for good. Congrats to Polo G on being occupied on both Top 10 Best List!

Very glad a particular Miley Cyrus song made the cut for Canadian honorable mentions. Seems like you changed your mind on that one and I've definitely jammed out to that song all year. Great list, the year had 2-3 awesome songs and a bunch of other great songs so can't complain too much about 2021. Just wish it wasn't so full of crap at the bottom though.
Just like your worst list, actually surprised about your best hit of the year. Excellent video with some interesting surprises. The last one had a shot on being the list, most cause it sounds like a good Job Bellion song. And while I'm still the only one who likes Maria, and despite it's many issues, I don't mind Sorry as much as I used to, it's still a good song. No complaints

I'm glad you recognized Business. That's a song my roommate played over and over but it's a banger of a house tune. I'm surprised Diamonds didn't make the Year-End Hot 100. That song had some solid radio prevalence and was a good tune. Great list :D
Good list, my opinions on songs here are: HM's: 1-good track, surprised it become a hit, but pleasantly so 2-the most overhated rapper of the year (I still yet to hear good reason why she's bad, and not for lack of searching) and song's alright 3-don't care too much for this one, unfortunately, just something doesn't quite click for me with it. Not sure what 4-pretty good, my favorite things about it are Jack Harlow and music video 5-this one's solid, but I really hope that Rod Wave's music gets a bit more diverse and less fragmented sooner than later 6-solid track, like it more than any of her hits from her last album 7-gorgeous production, when we will get new SZA album? We waiting Proper list: 10-there are better songs on his albums and EP this year, but yeah, can't deny, this one's good 9-my least favorite hit of hers tbh. Still would call it pretty good, if I made list it'll probably be in my HM's 8-grew more on me as time goes on, even if it's not the track I go out of my way to seek out 7-quintessential Megan track. Some may call it typical and generic, but I call it perfection of her general sound 6-god I hope that You Should Probably Leave won't flop, that song is so fucking good! Oh yeah, Starting Over is solid too, far from my favorite from the album 5-one of the few Bieber songs I unironically like. All hail Jon Bellion 4-I...don't care about this one, at all. It reminds me a lot of Riot era Paramore and I just never liked Paramore, so yeah, this song had uphill battle with me from the getgo 3-it's a bop, I dig it. MGK never make good album again and TTMD was a fluke and should have more hits (like, seriously, Forget Me Too was robbed), but regardless, this one's good 2-smooth af. And album its from is one of the best of the year. 1-yeah I like this one, certainly one of the better Polo G cuts, but like with Rod Wave, I hope he gets a bit more diverse in production department and stops flooding the market so much PS.- side note, yep, there's definitely lots of bops on Canadian year end list. Oh and Shawn Mendes but who tf seriously cares about him at this point?
My List: 10. “Rapstar” - Polo G 9. “Levitating” - Dua Lipa 8. “Leave The Door Open” - Silk Sonic 7. “drivers license” - Olivia Rodrigo 6. “Starting Over” - Chris Stapleton 5. “deja vu” - Olivia Rodrigo 4. “Hell Of A View” - Eric Church 3. “good 4 u” - Olivia Rodrigo 2. “INDUSTRY BABY” - Lil Nas X & Jack 1. “Happier Than Ever” - Billie Eilish Hope everyone had as good of a year as possible :)

Overall fantastic list and commentary. While I might not have agreed with all your list (no1 and no7) I still 100% understood your reasoning, but...... You didn't need to say that about Shawn Mendes when reviewing the Canadian year end. Wonder is still my favorite album of 2020 and I'll stand by that (shame Summer of Love was such trash tho) (and your review yourself wasn't even that negative). Anyway, here is my personal list, including hits from US, UK, and Global: 1. Wonder - Shawn Mendes 2. Happier Than Ever - Billie Eilish 3. Driving License - Olivia Rodrigo 4. Prisoner - Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa 5. Higher Power - Coldplay 6. Run - OneRepublic 7. I Wanna Be Your Slave - Maneskin 8. Starting Over - Chris Stapleton 9. Montero - Lil Nas X 10. Golden - Harry Styles I'm just kinda annoyed that Visiting Hours didn't do well enough even back in the UK to get on the year end. Glad to see you quickly fixing your misgendering mistake in the description as well :)
This list was such a surprise but I definitely agree with your choices. I especially agreed with what you said about this year. Hoping you have a great 2022 Mark!

@@landoman107 I mean it doesn't beat the original but the production's gorgeous. Especially the way the vocals become delay drenched before the first chorus, and the tempo changes are creative too.

Honestly, if I was to do a list of best 2021 hits, Starting Over basically won me over from the moment I heard it, so hell yeah, it's my number 1. It and Left At London's "there is a place for you here." were the only two songs that brought me to tears this year... just... good, strong cries to get everything out... I really needed them this year. c:>
I dont think I’m too good for good 4 u. It was #7 on my best list. Happier than ever was my #1. That song is amazing and I think the production is really good.
It kinda sounds like your discussion with Todd and Lina impacted your opinion to not put Happier Than Ever on the list. That's not a criticism, just an observation. Though I could be wrong.
My personal list ended up being: 10. Doja Cat & SZA - Kiss Me More 9. Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar - family ties 8. Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar & Giveon - Peaches 7. The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber - STAY 6. Olivia Rodrigo - deja vu 5. Silk Sonic - Leave the Door Open 4. Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow - INDUSTRY BABY 3. Adele - Easy On Me 2. Glass Animals - Heat Waves 1. Olivia Rodrigo - drivers license
I used to agree with your lists a lot more but it feels like they're a lot more personally influenced in the last couple of years, which is fine, just means I don't agree with them as much. For example the top 3 songs are all pretty good to me but seem like very weird choices for the best of a year. Songs like Drivers license, Starting over and Good days hit way, way harder for me.
Rapstar is boring imo. Polo G has a very boring flow and he barely changes it throughout the song. Chorus and verses sound almost the exact same in terms of intensity. Would have been nowhere near my best list let alone at #1
Listening to music off the Billboard charts is like binging on sugar free candy. Tastes artificial and inauthentic and leads to horrible indigestion that makes you regret consuming it in the first place.
Somebody agrees with me that Coi Leray gets wayyy too much shit. If it was a male rapper or Kid LAROI, y'all be giving 100 excuses. But just like Saweetie, I think their fine for what they are. They may not be great in one area, but I be open to seeing both of them improve in the future.
Yeah, I like Ava Max too. But Kings & Queens is just You Give Love a Bad Name rip-off melody-wise. And once I realized it, I couldn't listen to that song again. Sad...

My Ex's Best Friend MGK had a terrible year (dissing Slipknot, Trash music) but this is the one good thing he did. 9. you broke me first This did shrink a little when I realised Tate doesn't sound that good but the lyrics do hit so I can ignore the vocals. 8. You Right Doja and Abel are amazing together. Fuck Dr Luke tho. 7. Need To Know Doja's flows are insane. Fuck Dr Luke. 6. Kings and Queens It's no way here her best but I love Ava however some of the lyrics make no sense. 5. Take My Breath I didn't think this would make it but IMO this is the best song Abel released this year. 4. Forever After All I love Luke Combs this is one of his best 3. Save Your Tears Not my favourite from After Hours but it's still great 2. INDUSTRY BABY Biggest banger of the year 1. Leave The Door Open It's absolutely fantastic but you have already heard that from everyone Honorable Mention Visiting Hours - Ed Sheeran (would of been top 3 if it was a hit) Pepas - Farruko (annoying this was stuck between years) Astronaut In The Ocean - Masked Wolf (The lyrics are terrible but I can't lie I freaking love the beat and the flows.) Arcade - Duncan Laurence (I Get why people hate it but I do feel like a lot of people dont understand the lyrics, the only reason this isn't on the list is cause it's from 2019) Sand In My Boots - Morgan Wallen (This one will open a can of worms, I don't support what Morgan did but this song is the best country song released this year, I would of put it on the list but I still feel weird about including it cause of Morgan's actions)
I'm always surprised by how similar the Canadian charts are to ours here in Europe.
Canadian chart is like a mix of US and European chart with Canadian acts sprinkled in.
Here's my best list:
1. Kiss Me More - Doja Cat & SZA
2. Save Your Tears - The Weeknd & Ariana Grande
3. Levitating - Dua Lipa
4. What You Know Bout Love - Pop Smoke (this song clicked with me a bit more than it should)
5. Leave The Door Open - Silk Sonic
6. good 4 u - Olivia Rodrigo
7. Industry Baby - Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow
8. Take My Breath - The Weeknd (this deserved better on both the charts and in the critic world even though Abel's burnout was really strong when this got released)
9. Leave Before You Love Me - Marshmello & Jonas Brothers
10. deja vu - Olivia Rodrigo
HM:
Montero (Call Me By Your Name) - Lil Nas X
Rapstar - Polo G

I hope you have a better 2022 Mark. I look forward to Billboard breakdown more than the actual charts nowadays and year end lists like this. Amazing stuff!
Here's to a 2022 of recovery, cheer, and hopefully no wild attacks from BTS stans. I'm still so sorry that happened to you, Mark. I don't agree with you on everything, but you're a smart reviewer who tells it like it is, despite what certain circles of the internet want to hear.
What happened with that? Just curious. I heard him reference it on the worst list but I don't fully know what he was talking about
@@DestinyKiller he got attacked like a crybaby because of the *sales manipulation* from the #1 spot.
Except if this was a US list, Levitating would be on 2020's best list. They're a bit slow up in Canada eh.
Wasn’t Dance Monkey the biggest song of 2020 up there, above Blinding Lights? Yknow, despite The Weeknd being from Canada
can I say in terms of editing, the way you improved the song panels so the music videos and the titles overlap each other is just perfect. I look at it and go "damn. Take a look at that. Looks good :)"
This list is really evidence that 2021 has been a really solid year for hit songs. Great to see Olivia and Lil Nas doing well here.
When I saw the number 5, I literally screamed: "WOAH!!!". I absolutely love this song (would probably be in my top 3), but I did NOT expect you to place it THAT high!! Easily the best thing he's ever done!
Great list. And here's my best hit songs of 2021 list:

I expected 'Leave The Door Open' to take #1 in this list, but I'm happy that 'Rapstar' took the top spot & Olivia appears inside the Top 10 twice. :)
@@mutate34 Sam Smith is British...
@@riddypr did you watch the video?
@@mutate34 Yeah, I did. 'Diamonds' was a hit in Canada.
But you said "especially when referring to Canadians like Sam Smith", and that implied to me that you thought Sam Smith was Canadian, which they're not.
@@riddypr SP put him in a list of Canadian artists, I thought it was an in joke or something
I never got the appeal for Rapstar. It's not bad, but just really mediocre.
@@jeremyusreevu237 agreed
@@jeremyusreevu237 The only thing I liked was the guitar plucked melody throughout the song. Everything else is not that great in my opinion.
Even though I knew your opinions on each of them, the # 1 for both of your lists this year were surprising.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who likes "No More Parties". The production is low-key trap mixed with pianos but I think it sounds nice and Coi Leray's Playboi Carti-like delievery worked for me. 👍
*Edit:* Also, I'm already enjoying "Get Into It (Yuh)" more even though it also has that Playboi Carti influence.
I like No More Parties as well. Get Into It (Yuh) is a banger.
Sam Smith has proven themselves more and more as a solid performer every year.
Isn't Sam a mail
@@ChefPleasure They’re non binary. Sam goes by they/them pronouns.
The thing about this decade's music for me personally was how my favorite song in general of the year didn't make the Year-End, but the fact that my favorite "hit" song of the year was also the biggest one made up for it. Best use of a monkey's paw ever!

@@colegoodhart9020 I'm glad you like it, but I never got how powerful could listen to that production, and not consider it vomit worthy.

10. Starting Over-Chris Stapleton
9. Willow-Taylor Swift
8. Heartbreak Anniversary-Giveon
7. Telepatía-Kali Uchis
6. pov-Ariana Grande
5. Save Your Tears-The Weeknd
4. Levitating-Dua Lipa (original/remix)
3. Good Days-SZA
2. Leave The Door Open-Silk Sonic
1. Happier Than Ever-Billie Eilish
All great songs.
Definitely a great list!
Damn that’s a good list. I almost have the same one haha
Save Your Tears is overrated, but good list otherwise.
I don't like Willow. Taylor's voice on the chorus is really grating.
Justin’s new interest in mortality is really working.

I'm glad you recognized Business. That's a song my roommate played over and over but it's a banger of a house tune.
I'm surprised Diamonds didn't make the Year-End Hot 100. That song had some solid radio prevalence and was a good tune.
Great list :D
Good list, my opinions on songs here are:
HM's:
1-good track, surprised it become a hit, but pleasantly so
2-the most overhated rapper of the year (I still yet to hear good reason why she's bad, and not for lack of searching) and song's alright
3-don't care too much for this one, unfortunately, just something doesn't quite click for me with it. Not sure what
4-pretty good, my favorite things about it are Jack Harlow and music video
5-this one's solid, but I really hope that Rod Wave's music gets a bit more diverse and less fragmented sooner than later
6-solid track, like it more than any of her hits from her last album
7-gorgeous production, when we will get new SZA album? We waiting
Proper list:
10-there are better songs on his albums and EP this year, but yeah, can't deny, this one's good
9-my least favorite hit of hers tbh. Still would call it pretty good, if I made list it'll probably be in my HM's
8-grew more on me as time goes on, even if it's not the track I go out of my way to seek out
7-quintessential Megan track. Some may call it typical and generic, but I call it perfection of her general sound
6-god I hope that You Should Probably Leave won't flop, that song is so fucking good! Oh yeah, Starting Over is solid too, far from my favorite from the album
5-one of the few Bieber songs I unironically like. All hail Jon Bellion
4-I...don't care about this one, at all. It reminds me a lot of Riot era Paramore and I just never liked Paramore, so yeah, this song had uphill battle with me from the getgo
3-it's a bop, I dig it. MGK never make good album again and TTMD was a fluke and should have more hits (like, seriously, Forget Me Too was robbed), but regardless, this one's good
2-smooth af. And album its from is one of the best of the year.
1-yeah I like this one, certainly one of the better Polo G cuts, but like with Rod Wave, I hope he gets a bit more diverse in production department and stops flooding the market so much
PS.- side note, yep, there's definitely lots of bops on Canadian year end list. Oh and Shawn Mendes but who tf seriously cares about him at this point?
Mark, I salute for defending MGK and saying he’s good at pop punk. I agree!
Good list and its also nice to see you cover the Canadian Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Won't sue you. AITO rules.
A pretty good list all around. I like some of the picks like Stay and You Broke Me First. Everyone’s taste is subjective and yours is valid 👍
Anyway, here is my personal list, including hits from US, UK, and Global:
1. Wonder - Shawn Mendes
2. Happier Than Ever - Billie Eilish
3. Driving License - Olivia Rodrigo
4. Prisoner - Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa
5. Higher Power - Coldplay
6. Run - OneRepublic
7. I Wanna Be Your Slave - Maneskin
8. Starting Over - Chris Stapleton
9. Montero - Lil Nas X
10. Golden - Harry Styles
I'm just kinda annoyed that Visiting Hours didn't do well enough even back in the UK to get on the year end. Glad to see you quickly fixing your misgendering mistake in the description as well :)
Omg 2021 was so long . I haven’t seen you since the November 2021 & it feels so long ago
This list was such a surprise but I definitely agree with your choices. I especially agreed with what you said about this year. Hoping you have a great 2022 Mark!
My personal list:
1. Kanye West - Come to Life
2. The Weeknd - Blinding Lights
3. The Kid LAROI, Justin Bieber - STAY

9. Pop Smoke - What You Know Bout Love
10. Ritt Momney - Put Your Records On
You had me until Put Your Records On
@@landoman107 I mean it doesn't beat the original but the production's gorgeous. Especially the way the vocals become delay drenched before the first chorus, and the tempo changes are creative too.
@@carlwagner2049 I agree.

Ava Max, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus! Love this list! Willow Smith and Doja Cat got snubbed tho!

Great year for music with the best being amazing this year! 😁
I thought Dakiti would make your top 10. Great list!
@@jchmusic7587 thank you! My list can change with time so it might later on
Honestly, if I was to do a list of best 2021 hits, Starting Over basically won me over from the moment I heard it, so hell yeah, it's my number 1. It and Left At London's "there is a place for you here." were the only two songs that brought me to tears this year... just... good, strong cries to get everything out... I really needed them this year. c:>
Kinda shocked deja vu didn’t at least get an honorable mention but that’s how good Olivia’s year
I dont think I’m too good for good 4 u. It was #7 on my best list. Happier than ever was my #1. That song is amazing and I think the production is really good.
Dua Lipa on the thumbnail? I guess "Levitating" was a huge grower for Mark.
It kinda sounds like your discussion with Todd and Lina impacted your opinion to not put Happier Than Ever on the list. That's not a criticism, just an observation. Though I could be wrong.
My personal list ended up being:
10. Doja Cat & SZA - Kiss Me More
9. Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar - family ties
8. Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar & Giveon - Peaches
7. The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber - STAY
6. Olivia Rodrigo - deja vu
5. Silk Sonic - Leave the Door Open
4. Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow - INDUSTRY BABY
3. Adele - Easy On Me
2. Glass Animals - Heat Waves
1. Olivia Rodrigo - drivers license
Never thought Mark would said "bimbofication" but he did it!!!
Jack Harlow's verse on Industry Baby is the sexiest thing I heard all year.
Anyone would be fantastic if it was sung by a good singer. Unfortunately, Bieber doesn't sound good in it
I used to agree with your lists a lot more but it feels like they're a lot more personally influenced in the last couple of years, which is fine, just means I don't agree with them as much. For example the top 3 songs are all pretty good to me but seem like very weird choices for the best of a year. Songs like Drivers license, Starting over and Good days hit way, way harder for me.
Rewatching the video and something caught my attention. You know that Tiesto is dutch, right?
Rapstar is boring imo. Polo G has a very boring flow and he barely changes it throughout the song. Chorus and verses sound almost the exact same in terms of intensity. Would have been nowhere near my best list let alone at #1
Love your #1 pic. Definitely agree.
I like The Kid LAROI and dislike Saweetie, but I agree. Coi Leray is nothing special, but I really don't get the hate she has.
My ex’s best friend getting the respect it deserves
What happened in 2016 on the channel?
good 4 Olivia landing two spots!!!
Yeah, I like Ava Max too. But Kings & Queens is just You Give Love a Bad Name rip-off melody-wise. And once I realized it, I couldn't listen to that song again. Sad...
“Anyone” is a total rip off of a Toto track. Rick Beato did a video comparing them not long ago and it’s practically a cover.
10. Thot Shit by Megan Thee Stallion
9. Leave Before You Love Me by Marshmello & The Jonas Brothers
8. Way 2 Sexy by Drake feat. Future & Young Thug
7. You Right by Doja Cat feat. The Weeknd
6. My Ex’s Best Friend by Machine Gun Kelly feat. Blackbear
5. Without You by The Kid LAROI
4. Kiss Me More by Doja Cat feat. SZA
3. POV by Ariana Grande
2. MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) by Lil Nas X
1. Good Days by SZA
Honorable Mentions:
Stay by The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber
Positions by Ariana Grande
Anyone by Justin Bieber
Take My Breath by The Weeknd
Need to Know by Doja Cat
Cry Baby by Megan Thee Stallion feat DaBaby
I know some of these are controversial but idc lol
Mine
10. My Ex's Best Friend
MGK had a terrible year (dissing Slipknot, Trash music) but this is the one good thing he did.
9. you broke me first
This did shrink a little when I realised Tate doesn't sound that good but the lyrics do hit so I can ignore the vocals.
8. You Right
Doja and Abel are amazing together. Fuck Dr Luke tho.
7. Need To Know
Doja's flows are insane. Fuck Dr Luke.
6. Kings and Queens
It's no way here her best but I love Ava however some of the lyrics make no sense.
5. Take My Breath
I didn't think this would make it but IMO this is the best song Abel released this year.
4. Forever After All
I love Luke Combs this is one of his best
3. Save Your Tears
Not my favourite from After Hours but it's still great
2. INDUSTRY BABY
Biggest banger of the year
1. Leave The Door Open
It's absolutely fantastic but you have already heard that from everyone
Honorable Mention
Visiting Hours - Ed Sheeran (would of been top 3 if it was a hit)
Pepas - Farruko (annoying this was stuck between years)
Astronaut In The Ocean - Masked Wolf
(The lyrics are terrible but I can't lie I freaking love the beat and the flows.)
Arcade - Duncan Laurence
(I Get why people hate it but I do feel like a lot of people dont understand the lyrics, the only reason this isn't on the list is cause it's from 2019)
Sand In My Boots - Morgan Wallen
(This one will open a can of worms, I don't support what Morgan did but this song is the best country song released this year, I would of put it on the list but I still feel weird about including it cause of Morgan's actions)
Papercuts was a banger though.
@@jeremyusreevu237 "Forget Me Too" and "Bloody Valentine" are better bangers than this.
