- A full walk-through of how I have my camera set up to shoot weddings. I'm using the Sony A9, but a lot of settings should be universal. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments.

Killin' it, man! Great explanation and video from one of the world's most creative wedding photographers.
Thanks man!! Appreciate your support!
Would set the camera you're recording with to manual focus...
Yup. I did for the other but forgot on one. Didn't notice till I was editing and wasn't going to record everything over again.
Awesome video. I just switched from Nikon a couple of weeks ago and still figuring out my best setup. Do you shoot compressed or not compressed?
Compressed. I did a quick test and couldn't tell a difference.
you could also put the exposure compensation in the FN menu and not have to use the D-Pad wheel and still get 5 stop range.. I set the bottom press on the wheel to flash mode and ç4 to flash exposure comp.
Definitely a valid option! I just don't like the extra button press to access
@@JasonVinson183 cool, doing a second look to see some best ways to set this up,,just got the A9ii,
Someone already set mine up like this!
