Tamu just back from having a child..they weren't sure if she could come back, and are so happy they're all together. Notice they're turned towards the drummer. The tears are just after Saki gave a short speech. Also it's Hazukis birthday
This was filmed during an online concert, and Tamu was back from pregnancy (for the first time). Just before this song, Saki delivered a very emotional speech to welcome her back (that's what you see in the middle of the MV), tears were flooding, and then they started playing this song. The same day, they celebrated Hazuki's birthday too.
I’m only listening to this currently on my phone - not even with headphones - and it’s amazing how satisfying and rich the sound is even with that handicap. There are a lot of different melodic layers.
Great reaction Champ, you’re right. It was to mark Tamu's return since giving birth. (Community please do not hesitate to correct me if I'm wrong.) Now, its Mayu's turn. This song; the rhythm, melody, and lyrics...this is exactly why I truly enjoy listening to and watching this band. I still remember being up at 4am watching the live performance back in January. When the encore (this song) started; you could feel, and in a way, almost see the emotional response being generated. Then when Mayu kinda broke down towards the end of the song...that was it. (Heck, my flood gates also opened up. LOL) They are an amazing group, I wish them nothing but the best! Much respect!🤘
I think one of the things I love the most, is that they are so REAL. Life is happening to them as they go along. They marry, and they have kids. And in all that, they still stay true to each other.
Champ, you were right regarding Mayu singing "Life" and her own pregnancy. On September 29th, 2022 Show-Ya and Nemophila had a concert with fans under Japan's strict Covid rules (no cheering/singing/moshing just standing/clapping). During "Life" Mayu's voice broke several times, but it was still a beautiful rendition that had me crying along. However, to me the real killer was the encore: Both bands performed Show-Ya's "Fairy" together: 3 guitars, 2 basses, 2 drummers, 1 keyboard and 2 lead-vocalists in perfect sync... just EPIC! The concert stream will be archived on Zaiko until October 6th, 2022 and it is money (about 35$) well spent.
If I remember correctly, Tamu was only given the score of the song with no lyrics, cause it was a surprise for her return with the rest of the band. So she just repeated this song with a score and no other member. You can see that she's in tears but didn't miss a single beat. That make her more impressive as a drummer and a human being, like the rest of the band who are a family of adorable girls now, much like Band Maid. If you haven't done it yet, you should react to the interviews on the Young Guitar Magasine channel. They've all been subbed in english now.
Happy Birthday Saki! I believe it’s about 0130 on the 4th of October Japan time. I haven’t seen another post yet, so it’s going here. My each day be better than the last and filled with love of friends and family. Look forward to hearing you next week. ❤️🍰🇺🇸
Great reaction Champ. Their first concert in front of an audience, both Mayu and Haraguchisan were crying. Mayu had a difficult time getting through this song. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.
This was in a live stream show in August 2020. Tamu had just come back from having her baby. They came back on stage, after a break for Hazukis birthday. Saki spoke, they turned their mics to face Tamu and sing this to her. When Mayu gestures Tamus way, Tamu breaks down in tears. Beautiful.
Love this. Life and Game Over are a must to listen for my slower and chill playlist. So far they've never disappoint with everything song they do or cover.
I know you haven't heard this song until now, but when this song came out, Tamu had JUST come back from her pregnancy, and if you notice, Mayu is turned around and singing directly to Tamu as iff to "welcome" her back to the stage. The emotions in this song, as you saw them all crying, was because of Tamu. They all care for each other SO much, it was a beautiful video, and when they did this song live/web concert as a final song, Mayu could hardly finish. She broke crying but managed to push through. If you can, try to get the recording of that show. LOVE this band!
Are you copy pasting this under every video about this song and then dont watch the video? Because he looked it up and talks about all of this in THIS video lol.
An anthem from A-Z like you don't often get to hear and which actually should be played in front of thousands of people in a stadium. 🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ 「 _'Our rock never dies ever. Forever!'_ 」 --- *BAND-MAID* 'Manners' 🕊
Now every time I saw them performing this song at a show, they start crying! Or at least Mayu cracks a little bit her voice! On the January show she started sobbing and skipped a few lines!!
the champ if you want to see some amazing guitar work check out Lovebites Scream For Me Daughters of the dawn live from Tokyo 2019 trust me that song is all about Miyako and Midori and they do some of the best solos i have ever heard by them please react to it soon please let me know what you think
It's a great song, but this is not a live recording. It's a studio version with Mayu singing her own backing vocals, and the others probably just sing or lipsync it live. I think this was filmed for an online concert, but they clearly did not use the audio.

LIFE 🤘😂🤘 The Anthem. This represents what this band is all about...untouchable #1 NEMOPHILA track. 🌸✨️🌠
The joke is when Mayu returns that with Tamu's two kids backstage will be a daycare when touring. My favorite song by them. Thanks for reviewing.
They care for each other-simply beautiful.

Thanks Champ! one of my favorite songs from Nemophila. Love the diversity of this band.
I don’t know why but tears come up whenever I listen to this song.

This is the best happy sad song ever written, and I will fight anyone who disagrees!
Not sad at all but very emotional
You should react to Diana Ankudinova's songs; her versions of Wicked Game & I Can't Help Falling in Love. You'll be surprised!!!
Great song, but a shame there’s no crowd, it would be awesome to have seen them preforming
