She had been away on maternity leave and they had her learn the song while she was away. I've been a card-carrying Metalhead for 50 years and even I get emotional every time I watch them do this song. And it's not just us.... Mayu herself couldn't finish singing it without crying when it was the encore of their sellout live concert at Line Cube Shibuya in January 2022. I recently got the Blu Ray of that gig and, sure enough, I was a goner again! Beautiful, beautiful song! Okay, now that I've just watched it yet again, I'll have to watch them do one of their heaviest bangers ("Zen") to regain my composure! 🤘
