Excellent song! You can't go wrong with anything on this album. Never get pressured into choosing LOL. I still enjoyed the battles because I grew up with it. But just for the sake of saying it? Megadeth all the way hahaha
Back in the day (a great Megadeth song), one could argue one band being better than the other and there would be no clear winner if one was being fair. I feel the data over the last 30 years has left those honest about it to conclude only one thing. Megadeth is clearly the better band in almost every metric. Vocal? I'll concede this point. Commercial success? Ok, Dave is sitting on like 20 million,....when is enough enough? Well clearly,....20 million. lol
I remember now starting to listen to Megadeth when I was about 5. My older brother used to go to school and I had to be careful remembering in which position was stored his Countdown to Extinction CD, so that after listening to it, I could store it back exactly as it was before. A few years later, I found Youthanasia and asked my parents to buy it as a gift (can't remember if it was Christmas, Birthday, or what). I hope you had a great time discovering Megadeth and if later on you can go to a concert.... don't think it twice! Big hug and GIVE ME THAT BOOK! :P ;)
"Don't ask what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you" is such a powerful message it should be on the constitution. We sure do a lot for your country already, and as Tasha said, is all give and no take.

This entire album is a masterpiece. For me it ranks right up there with Master of Puppets. As a kid I honestly didn't have a favorite between the two bands, Metallica and Megadeth were 1a and 1b for me.

1) Thank you SO much for doing the original, not the remix. Dave's the man, but he screwed it up. Especially the back up vocals on this song.
2) It's 100% legit to love both bands. Megadeth has been my fave for a long time now, so was Metallica for a very long time too, but I still love both.
3) You guys were so fun with the guitar and drum sticks.

I shook Daves hand when I was 12 years old, alomg with the rest of the original band on the Peace Sells..tour. I also have an autographed poster from that day 35 years ago. I had 1st row to their show with Alice Cooper.

I got in to Metal Church by reading the thank you notes of a Megadeth album. I think Overkill too and maybe even Sanctuary, but I'm not so sure of that and don't really remember how I first learned of Sanctuary. Give me that book.

Not sure what state your in, but they did a song about the North Hollywood shoot out, called 44 minutes that's really good. Another really good song was The Scorpion.

I have a military friend of mine that calls me at least twice a week it's been going on for years I met him about 15 years ago he did time in Afghanistan and other places, we speak for hours at a time on the phone mostly I listen horror stories times of elation emotional breakdowns that are not told but felt through the phone, help is everywhere.... but do you have enough strength to give it? That is my service to my country I am there for those who have served with the ear and the word to help them help themselves. PTSD is a m*therf#cker war is hell, the best way to be there for them is to let them let it out and let it go. BTW been rocking this song since the album came out it's nice to see somebody getting off on it also for the first time
