because 90% of his content is about a game nobody plays. they aren't bad videos but I've never even heard of the game. He's made two videos with actual appeal and if he keeps making content with this level of quality, this and the elden ring video, he's going to pop off
overwatch 2 felt really uninviting for new players (including me), the first few days were nice but then it just didn't hit that promise that the devs held, which i guess could be the reason it severely underperformed... anyway, nice video :)
The overwatch 2 hate is and isn't about it being just a watered down overwatch one with micro transactions. The biggest reason the game got review bombed was because the biggest thing about overwatch 2, the thing everyone was most excited for, the PvE mode got cancelled like 3 months before it was supposed to come out, apparently internally this had been known for a while, and they told the public a long time later. the games reviews before hand were okay enough, but it was the corporate greed about the PvE mode that really killed the reviews.

See with overwatch a lot of the hate is that OW2 became OW1 in the sense that it fully replaced the game, overwatch as we knew it was gone and it went from a cool game with some balance issues and a minor lack of updates to a battle pass microtransaction ridden worse version of that same game, with new characters getting less and less cosmetics and them choosing to focus on more marketable cosmetics like kiriko, mercy, dva etc etc, so the hate wasnt for the gameplay but for the handling of the game
just wish they left the orginal overwatch alive instead of forcing everyone to play overwatch 2 by removing it

I am suprised that you didnt even mention the EOMM in MW2 at all, which is also a reason why a lot of people hate mw2 (and all the new CODs)
