The thing is, a-lot of these arguments can go either way: 1. I get that you were making a joke out of the omni movement being egregious and obsessive, but to the people who genuinely DO think this way and just assume that only ADHD riddled children can enjoy it, I can just say that the people who prefer significantly slower gameplay don’t have the cognitive capability to keep up with anything that’s even slightly fast paced. The 1st popular type of shooters were arena shooters… which are extremely fast paced even by today’s standards, do we tell people who like doom that they’re children that don’t understand nuanced FPS titles? No, that would be dumb. 2. The “Fortnite” argument holds merit when it comes to the BP and monetization practices, but nothing else. We’ve had goofy skins since AW, 3 years before Fortnite was even conceived. I agree that something like the MW games are losing their identity with these skins, especially with MW3, but the BO games have always been known to be goofy, especially with one of their main draws being zombies. I see people already saying “oh the fortnitification of cod has already started from the beta”, but Klaus and Brutus are pretty grounded within the universes of this series… and they make alot of sense, this point just tells me that any slightly fantastical skin can be deemed a Fortnite knockoff, when the reasoning is pretty much non existent. 3. Another point regarding the skins. If the grounded ones were popular, people would use them alot more… but they aren’t. MW2 and 3 have PLENTY of realistic operators, yet 90% of the shit I see is goofy. There’s a reason it sells… people obviously like it. Every FPS game has its militaristic skins and operators, it gets old, how creative can you exactly get with ghost and price over and over again. Im not saying this in defense of the game. I enjoy it, and don’t necessarily care as to what others think, but it’s funny to see just how many people parrot opinions that they don’t even know the reasoning to. Atp, this community is so large that it’s borderline impossible to cater to everyone, and all they can do is just look at the numbers. It’s the exact same thing with the zombies debate, the BO3 crowd assume no one liked CW zombies simply because they didn’t, and fail to realise that they’re no more than a vocal minority and that there’s usually a valid reason the devs make the decisions they do, considering they have the numbers

I didn’t realize how much I’d enjoy the whole Omimovemnt addition. And I think you hit the nail on the head when you mention Activision can’t make everyone happy. Yeah I can't stand any game that doesn't have a consistent aestetic with cross-over crap. While I'll play games like Space Marine 2, Helldivers 2, Darktide, Insurgency, and Hell Let Loose instead.
I think it’s more of epic games racking in the billions and Activision wanting to put their feet into as money profitable ventures as possible. Saying this as the kid that grew up on Fortnite, I don’t know who wants this. Genuinely. All my friends hate it, most people I know hate it. It’s just the most bizzare thing gets the most attention in a „realism“ game. When mw19 came out I loved it with all my heart. Most of the cosmetics were fine in that game, except the saw skin. Genuinely I replay that game and feel my whole body wince everytime I see a saw skin. Genuinely still see it in lobbies today. Edit: I remember watching a video saying they thought that skin broke all the immersion and hurt the entire games established esthetic 😭 Also warzone

I don’t mind the skins, although I kinda prefer more military style skins in shooters. But my concern is that how much money Activision is making off the skins and shop items that they’ll drop the single player side of the game and focus solely on pumping out new shop items and let the rest of the game go to crap.

i hate cod , for me its scam of duty by greedvision , they banned me with a kd of 1.31 had an account of 300 $ denied report with no explination , never used cheatS ! been a cod player since it came out i supported the franchise and now i regret it , u cant play any of the old cods due to the greed ! fed up with customer exploitative tactics !
You might have been shadow banned it normally lasts for 10 days. From what I've heard, this happens when you get mass reported it suck that it's happening to players who don't cheat.
