Man it is just wrong having a Roadrunner and not being able to hear that signature BEEP-BEEP horn. And since I'm such a fan I think all stick shift Mopars should be of the pistol grip variety lol
A Butterscotch 69 Post Roadrunner with a 4 speed… not too mention the Magnum 500’s are the perfect choice… classic written all over it ! Undercarriage shot wasn’t very good this time with the camera being so far away from the light but it looked pretty solid, alittle leaky but 99% are.. 👍🏼
Problem with the hard start is the Ethenol fuel boils in the carb turns to vapor and disappears. So when you go to start it the carb has to fill up with fuel again!l
I love Road Runners. This one has a fair amount of filler in it, but for a matching numbers car, it's worth putting in new sheetmetal. If those buckets are original, that's a rare option; most of them had the standard bench seat. I see the original owner sprang for the 4 speed (base trans was a 3 speed). The Road Wheels this car has were also optional. Sounds very healthy too
For the 1st thing that I see, she needs a good tune up and lets go on from here. The red strip tires that came from 1963 on and they were called Perrelis and they were the 1stt radials tires that was put on high preformist cars in the day. For she still needs some love at 55 years of age. For she has seen the test of time and i I love this old Runner and she is something to be had in todays world.
Car has challenger buckets in it. Looks like it was a bench seat car. Needs a lot of body work looks like a lot of filler. To me probably a 25000 car but it's cool.
Very nice Road Runner no complaints here...Carbs are just a thing to expect as many people today dont know how to rebuild them so not a biggie! Car seems to have some kick to it too!
Love the videos. I keep watching because I hope to find mine eventually. This car needs a restoration. It’s a good base but too high for a car that needs restoration. Thanks Nick for the video
The correct name of the color is "Bahama yellow", I bought mine in this color in 1971. Sold it in 1978 and kickin myself in the ass every day for parting with it.
Hey Nick Keith here. Love the video, this is a sweet road runner! I may have to come down from Ohio to see your lot in person. I'm looking to buy a nice summer daily driver. Thanks again for the video. Later!

If your going to check out this boat don't forget your magnet.
Very nice 69 RR , love the stock wheels and the numbers matching motor , that is rare. Thanks for the ride Nick!! Motor trends car of the year in 1969.
I has a 69 road runner. It was great, it had a black vinyl top buckets with a rare console. Automatic on the console hod 70s on the front with 60s rear. Just a touch on the gas would squeak the tires.
My dream would be to take that car down to Bill at Extensive in Texas and have those guy's build a custom frame, suspension, and put a Demon 170 motor in it! Well... I can dream if I want to right?
MOTOR TRENDS CAR OF THE YEAR IN 1969 !!!! THE CARBURETOR NEEDS TO BE REBUILT MAYBE DIRTY AND OUT OF ADJUSTMENT, HOWEVER CHECK THE TIMING FIRST IT SHOULD BE 5 - DEGREES BEFORE TOP DEAD CENTER , 650 R.PM. AT IDLE !!! I’M READY TO RUN SOME TENNESSEE MOONSHINE .......... BEAUTIFUL CAR LEAVING THE DUST BEHIND !!!!
Awesome car!! The interior is sweet as well as the paint and motor sounds great. I missed the horn on this one. You'd think someone who put this kind of money into a road runner? Would make sure the beep beep worked!!! There goes 4 in a row
It'll flood 100% sure of it. Look how hard it started when he held it to the floor as is. Two full pumps and he'd be pulling the plugs to dry them off before she'd ever run again.
@@Rusty2255-i6c You're misunderstanding WHEN it's flooding; When warm. Of course, you're describing how to COLD start the engine...Which is correct. Go back and watch after he fills it up at the gas station. The carb needs a rebuild is all.

Or a pistol grip shifter

Great review Nick, as always! This Roadrunner needs a professional paint job and Kooks long tubes, but besides that, it is badass.
I can't believe it's not sold yet!

Needs a full restoration to put it original condition 35k way overpriced for it

That's the best year RR. You can't have a RR without it's signature horn working, I mean come on people.
Sounds like a bearings shot. May just be the recording
Very nice 69 RR , love the stock wheels and the numbers matching motor , that is rare. Thanks for the ride Nick!! Motor trends car of the year in 1969.
Best year RR in my book. Bonus points for the 4 sp. and is pretty peppy. Yes on horn. The needed body work may hold up sale but what do I know?

I'd fix the carb and the Beep! !!Beep !! and drive the heck out of it .🏁
That Roadrunner is smothered in Dijon mustard. Nice car. 💙✌️
Grey poupon lol
Seeing this Roadrunner takes me back to my high school days
I saw these cars daily.
Mettering rods and or float level needs to be set correctly and the hard starting will end .
I had the exact same car but a hard top. That steering wheel should have a chrome half ring with the roadrunner in the center.
The price was lowered for a reason
It was probably a bench seat car before being manual transmission and steering, just a pure muscle car 😊
Have come from that era, we used to consider that color Butterscotch amongst the car guys
Very fair price for a real #s matching 4spd RR. Base model with manual steering and brakes and no radio. Majority of these have replacement motors.
Needs some bodywork and a meep meep horn!!
Wow! I think I'm gonna take a trip to your lot this summer. I gotta see these sweet rides up close.
My dream would be to take that car down to Bill at Extensive in Texas and have those guy's build a custom frame, suspension, and put a Demon 170 motor in it! Well... I can dream if I want to right?
Never thought much about a Roadrunner but I do like that car. Bet it sells fast.
And not replace the trunklweather stripping? Low quality effort by whoever owned this.
AND A PAINT JOB!
A pistol grip shifter would look good in there
🏆Very cool 🏆🍀butterscotch 👀✌️
I agree!!!!!!
Awesome!! Mopar or no car. Four speed post car, heck yeah. I own a Chevelle but B body cars are close to my heart.
Right on!
Nice post car, drove one in 79 to high-school, wish i had kept it.
This is a nice car that easily could be taken to the next level.
Brother had one. He hammered the crap out of it
The $50.00 dollar sun tach lol...nice car though
Yup, A hiccup holley... Too much carb!!
Nick I watch your videos more then I watch TV. Its been a daily thing for me, can't wait to eat dinner and watch your videos. Thank you!! ☺️
Awesome! Thank you very much!
I love the plymouth roadrunner
Beautiful car
Someone did a great job on the restoration
Thanks
No they didn't, it looks like a 16 year old's first attempt at a paint job. 😄
@@jimb7304 Yes. Down to the metal and replace panels.
i didnt see a link for that fancy watch you got on nick.....thats a nice present from the mrs.....
Nice base roadrunner coupe!❤
Thanks! 😁
I spied that dark green 68 Roadrunner when you left the parking lot in the mustard yellow 69 Roadrunner. Is it still on the lot for sale?
Wrong steering wheel....and those are 70 charger seats
That is not the wrong steering wheel, that is the base wheel without the decor group. They look like 70-71 E body seats.
Trying to picture Joe Mannix driving a droptop version of this ... with a Hurst four speed.
New paint job and fix the horn it's a road runner it's gotta have that special horn beep beep 😊
Aside from the must be fixed signature BEEP BEEP, nice old Mopar.

Bahama Yellow I think.
Awesome car!! The interior is sweet as well as the paint and motor sounds great.

Love th 69 🤜🤛
Mopar is hot right now. Surprised its not gone already.
That's the 2nd Road Runner you've had without the meep meep horn, that's sacrilegious.. Now it's just a Satellite
Travesty.
Ah, the Highland Hummingbird.
Mopar week at Maple motors not a bad road runner drive it this summer then do work this winter I've seen that color before it is a factory color
DM ! That's SWEET NICK ! ❤👍
I'm gonna say this horn must work 💪
Parking light out on the passenger side bro 😹.
Damn I see that early 60's chevy II in your lot. Not on your site so it obviously sold quickly lol
i noticed that nova in another video awhile back......i think your right that it sold....looks like a 65ish
Someone is getting a great deal on this car!! Very undervalued car compared to the high dollar muscle cars out there.
Ok,thanks
A roadrunner without the beep beep - how can that be possible?
Humor me give the gas 2 full pumps to the floor then hold at half throttle when you crank just to see if it works better for you
It'll flood 100% sure of it. Look how hard it started when he held it to the floor as is. Two full pumps and he'd be pulling the plugs to dry them off before she'd ever run again.
@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism no gas won’t start either 😂 I’ve never had a carb that didn’t have to be primed but none of mine where stockers either

@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism o I didn’t get that far 😂
Nice car.worth every penny.👍
I average about 2 out of a hundred on if the horn works
Should’ve left it red
The fender tag had B5 B5? I saw blue & red on the undercarriage
Matching numbers car is amazing.
Love it ILpuy train horn to get out of ways
God Bless ys have fun at the show convertsounfs like it be ablast
Awesome!
No Beep Beep
Anyone call for a taxi?
This won't last long at all, beautiful ride Nick 👍💯
Rainbow ❤👍
I know that car didn't come with That color from the factory that is fugly
Bahama yellow or butterscotch ✌️
Ay Nick , your doing a great job
