Thanks a lot Cedric! We've subbed as well. Hope you have a great riding season (Well, since you're lucky and in Florida I guess the whole year is riding season!!). Hope we get to cross paths and ride someday!
It works great. Perfect size for the rickrak, and we think a perfect size for on top of a tour pack. The Top Dekk II bag from them is awesome, and it is great if on a luggage rack, but on top of the tour pack it just seemed too big. It definitely makes taking it on and off a breeze!
Absolutely. In fact, the bag from RickRak is a really really nice bag, with lots of room. It's much bigger than the ones we're using. You can buy them already assembled directly from RickRak, or you can add any bag of your liking. That's what's great, it is totally customizable to your specific needs. rickrak.com/non-roller-bags/
Men, it is so much easier to velcro the bag to the luggage rack. We have over 10,000 miles with it and never lost anything. I am also pretty fast getting the bag on and off the bike and don't have to carry that big bracket around with me. Nice install video but just something not for me. Ride Safe
Yea. I’ve used the velcro straps that come on bags. Worked fine but eventually velcro worn out and/or debris was stuck in velcro. One fell off after bag pot-hole road condition. This was after 100 k or more though. After a few bags, I started using Rick Rack this last season (2020). IMO it’s better securement.
Max weight for tourpak rack is 10 lbs, 30 lbs for the tourpak interior, and 30 lbs combined total. How do you justify recommending this bag and mounting solution?
We justify it because it's a great product and a very secure way to attach additional storage. If you watched the video, you'll see the rack itself is just over 2 lbs, and you can mount any bag of your liking to it. Many of the HD or aftermarket rack bags are rather light weight, allowing for plenty of payload room while still staying within the weight guidelines. Also of note, the RickRak mounting solution is available for the normal luggage rack as well, not just the tour pack luggage rack. It is the individual rider who is responsible for ensuring their motorcycle is loaded correctly, and this product allows one to do it quickly and securely. But if you don't like it, that's fine too. We've heard Velcro works just as good.
Nice install guys.
Thanks Broncoride!!
I didn't even know this attachment existed !! awesome. Good hack to use the painters tape before drilling .
Yeah, you don't have to buy the full RickRak set up. This way you can use it with any bag you prefer. Thanks for watching!
Enjoy the video and I subscribe 👍🏾

Nice that’s the same exact bag I have and was wondering how would it work with the Rick rack

that bag is a little small can you put it on a larger bag?

That's another good idea!
