Excellent bag, but one warning on the rain cover. I did a three day ride and got caught in the rain coming back all day. When I stopped after the first 150 miles, the rain cover had almost blown off the bag and was barely holding on (whew!). Unfortunately, there is no sinch on the bottom of the cover like other rain covers for gear. Problem quickly solved with a bungee net that held it down. That said, the bag itself still gets 5 stars. Couldn't have been easier going on and off the bike at the hotel. When I think of how crappy that part has been on all my trips, I only wish I had it sooner.
That’s a great point! Hopefully RickRak adds some loops or some type of tie down option. Good job thinking on your feet and finding a quick solution

Rickrak = So many ways to overload your tourpak. Maximum weight limit is 10 lbs for the rack and 30 lbs in the tourpak alone, but no more than 30 lbs combined. I’m sure this quick release rack and bag weigh in excess of 10 lbs combined.

Absolutely! You can get a aftermarket 4 Point Docking system, so you can mount a luggage rack

Any weight concerns fully loaded on tour pack? It could easily add up to 30 pounds. Hoping not to crack my tour pack lid with it packed, lol
I haven’t had any issues. I’ve had this fully loaded to the Max with His/Her gear, and did not have any issues. Obviously I do not suggest opening the lid with the bag still attached
