    Now you guys need to do a helmet lock install. Just got the H-D one for my bike and it looks great and the chrome finish is A+. It's nice not having to worry about the helmet growing legs and wandering off when It's left with the bike.

    Ryan, could you possibly get one of your buddys that have a ultra limited with the rack on the truck that curves up, try to fit the rick rack on it. that would help alot. I really love the system but Im not going to buy it if I dont know it will fit. Thanks a bunch!

    Hey up Ryan, nice video class TY. PS, you guys were having a beer awhile back, Elysian Space Dust I believe. Their Dayglo IPA is also very good. Plus, if you can get it, Free State "Yakamaniac" IPA is pun intended and an excellent IPA as well! Thanks again and take care pal, Mike from Ks.

      Mike, I agree. The Dayglo IPA is tasty! I've never heard of Yakamaniac IPA. I'm definitely going to track it down. Thanks for the tip!

      Universal, looks like it would work with any tube type luggage rack.

    • @RyanUrlacher
      @RyanUrlacher  6 років тому

      They "should" work on a similar tubular rack. We have not tested this though.

      Like we way in the video "universal" for sure. Try in on your rack, we just can't make any gurantees etc. But it will certainly work on many racks. Dependent on length etc.....

    I plan on using a HD razor tour pack with the lid moded with pet cage for medium size thin dog. Would this rickrack hold the weight of the tour pack and pet? I would only be using for this purpose and not for luggage or heavy use. Would you strongly advise not to try it?

    my touring pack rack says maximum weight is 10lbs. doesn't sound like I could put much of anything in the bag after the weight of the bracket and the bag. any advice or suggestions on this issue?

    • @RyanUrlacher
      @RyanUrlacher  6 років тому

      Get the King HD Detachable Two-Up luggage Rack. The weight limit is 30 pounds. That's what the Rickrak rides on anyways. Get hooked up.

      You don't want to keep a bunch of weight up that high on the bike, anyway. Keep the collection of cinder blocks in the saddlebags😎😊

    Hey Ryan, I am kind of torn as to which bag I would want,,, the roller bag or the other bag... I know the Rackrak bag extends on the lid,,, and I know the roller bag is nice for dragging instead of carrying... just not sure which would be best for me and my wife and our gear... I thought you carry your camera and audio gear in the roller bag because of the weight its easier to drag...than to carry.... just not sure for me... any suggestions or comments.. .let em fly Brother.... DAWG from MO.

    • @RyanUrlacher
      @RyanUrlacher  6 років тому

      I carry the camera gear in the saddle bags so I can lock it up. It's nice to have the roller bag when dragging in my clothing and gear at the same time. It just depends on what you think would work best for you.

    Great review Ryan, thanks! Quick question, I have a Firstgear dry bag I use on the tour pack of my '19 Road Glide Ultra. I love the bag, have a packing system and because of weight restrictions with the tour pack, prefer the lighter dry bag. Do you think the Rickrack system will work on a soft dry bag? My concern would be the bag ripping from the hardware ...you're thoughts, anyone to your knowledge try this??

    • @RyanUrlacher
      @RyanUrlacher  5 років тому

      I don't think the soft dry bag would hold up to be honest.

      I'm not 100% sure what you mean. It's not designed to stack. You can always strap another bag on top, I guess.
