I feel like Fire decks are coming out of this list with a bigger win than any potential losses. They lost the Synchro package, or at least the biggest bosses of it, and the ability to dodge Imperm. In exchange, they lost their biggest floodgate in Summon Limit, and gained the ability to make Colossus after a combo by going into Little Knight, something they did anyway.
All my friends have been telling me I've been coping playing centurion. They're about to spend the next few months getting calamity locked under shifter.
Unless the lock gets banned before July you also get access to white woods, which seems terrifying in centurion, runick, and solo running a toy box package
Can you please explain how centur-ion can play shifter with the new support. I picked up the deck few weeks ago and I'm really liking it so far so I'm planning on getting the new support once it comes out.

Finally, a new Shifter Deck after Bird Floo.
Nemeses Corridor can be slotted into any deck that banishes it's own monsters get a free Colossus.
It only has one printing and the price of it keeps going up sincs Colossus got banned, so now is a good time to offload extra copies you guys have.
S:P can banish from its own graveyard, so every combo deck can banish mid-combo now. Joy!
Essentially any normal summon for Almiraz (or link down arrow) and Parallel Exceed gives any deck access to Colossus/Protos.
Banshee gets Flag for Corridor (Colossus) or Protos, SP gives you a banished monster for Flag, then SP (dark) Parallel (wind) anything (fire) for the 3 materials to lock out the opponent.

Just gonna throw a simple combo during your opponent's turn with Formula Synchron and any 2 level 1 Snake Eye monsters, summon into Arc Light
You can play Almiraj if you really wanna put the nornal summon into the GY, and that also still can enable the possibility to get into Heatsoul.
Whereas the special summoned Poplar needed Linkuriboh and now has to settle for Anima.
Ojamasimilation can target ABC, and summon the materials from deck by banishing the same number of Ojama monster(maybe with different names).
If they can make use of an Ojama engine, that'd be cool.
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Swordsoul, seeing as they lost Baronne but gained Protos. How would that turn out? I think it's still a win for the deck, but only time will tell
Baronne is much better than Protos for Swordsoul
The deck heavily went into baronne, it's a tough loss. Even in a world where they kept baronne and got Protos, the deck needs more help
I think tombox might have been a little crazy when he said many players don't even end on baronne. Uhhhh it's literally almost on every end board for the deck since it keeps reframing alive and was an omni, let alone the pivot for crimson into dis pater. It definitely hurts the deck

TBF them hitting Baronne and Borreload Savage does kinda make sense. No-one is going to run other synchro's when these 2 are such mainstay staples within the synchro pool. I'm actually fine with them banning them while they were cheap.

Konami has been on the warpath against Dragon Link for some time now.
Colossus is going to be jammed into so many decks it doesn't belong in just because Nemesis Corridor can make it and that guy can be searched by cupid pitch or Nemesis Flag who itself can be searched by infernal flame banshee or bon fire.
^ Finally this dude gets it. Also not for nothing Flag and Corridor can recycle mali if anything cute comes out of that.

For some reason I don’t understand, my infernoble got another hit😢, but I will say there’s a hidden winner of this banlist, which is my ritual beast. It’s a shifter deck, it plays colossus and protos, it’s strong enough to compete after June support,we will see
Can it also play Eschatos? Eschatos is more searchable.
I think maybe the adventure engine may be played again to put a negate to Nibiru in some decks.

Maybe therion king collesum becomes a popular card/ engine within decks to search out your omni negate and then protect your apollousa etc from battle

@@EpicKingofFail that’s where the deck building comes in my friend, we can’t spoon feed you everything. I can use electromagnetic turtle in LS’s or any mill decks, I play ABC’s and I play cyber dragons so I’m set lol also therions are an archetype you don’t need a machine you can actually play the archetype as an engine not only regulus.
Isn't jet synchron a machine anyway? Don't remember exactly therions text
@@CrisRullz regulus itself can equip regulus if you can dump it for cost or something so you don’t even need a machine technically you just play multiple regulus plus it’s searchable in rank 4 decks. Might not be the best for fire just was a general statement for most decks

There’s also centurion out there yes doesn’t have a super amount of tops or such but they have access to calamity plus it becomes a shifter deck with the new support

I cant find any definitions of her eff anywhere that ive looked 😢 im trying to figure out if i can use it with verssago. Look up king of the swap ruling. Those cards work, it should be the same. She isn’t a substitution. When she is used she has to be the correct type. The other card you can use a substitution monster. If you look up the king of the swamp ruling to make rukallos for example it works because king of the swamp becomes kitkalos for the fusion requirement. When merli is sent to grave as card effect she can fusion but she has to be used as material but she isn’t a substitute, the other monsters can be.
Im going to be playing raikka (ragnaraika)
With traptrix and its going to be really good i think but im currently playing plants and there are two extra deck spots open (i use s:p and typhon) but i just realized cutting one of those for the link 2 raikka and three of the level one raikka cards allows you to basically carry three extra copies of loci (8 copies basically) or if you open into the loci line it can bridge you into the aroma or rikka engines....busted
All this banlist did was pave the way for Snake-eye Infernoid. Infernoid variant beats out Fire King every time and would lose to Pure due to being out grinded. I had already anticipated the Baronne/Savage ban and will tell you this, CURRENT Snake-eye Infernoid makes a much scarier board than any other fire deck and has access to making Herald of the arch light in place of Baronne/Savage. You the same end board as pure Snake-eye, plus Herald, and the ability to summon Decatron 2-3 times on your opponents turn for 2-3 more negates/interactions. This deck will take the meta and that's the current build, that's not even including the new support coming out in June. Not that Infernoid needed any help breaking boards ( Infernoid is best played with board breakers, not handtraps ), but the banning of Baronne/Savage just made it even easier. In the past, Konami has done the Infernoid deck dirty multiple times with bans, preemptive hits, and slow importing, but this year is our year. Infernoid players rise up and take this game by storm

Assuming you have the entire Bystial package due to dragon link, just throw in a minimal Thunder Dragon engine to get their full value and shift to a midrange strat. Bystial Control is amazing, and ThunDra give you easier Apollo, boardwipe (Titan) as well as recovery and free LIGHT targets.
This banlist mostly killed Rokket, and I hope Savage returns even with a small errata requiring a "Rokket" tuner that would instantly make it a fine card.
@@babradbystial thunder dragon sounds like a brickfest tbh, rokket is what starts the engine and gets you into Romulus, which is the bridge between the dragons.
@@reservationatdorsias3215 i wont deny that. My issue is I don't want to end on Borrelend turn 1 because of the big investment that can be easily outed by Ty-phon, while Seals Dispater isn't enough.
That's why I'm experimenting with Bystial Control as the base, then ThunDra/Centurion/Branded Tuners/Synchron/Horus Resonators as the supplementary engines.
No thoughts about Lightsworn? The Deck seems pretty decent honestly
I’m a very devoted synchron player and I have to scrap my entire list. Baronne was a huge hit. I think I may have to play TG for synchro spam for now.

@@rd9669Just don't get carried away by all the "Calamity is a Red Dragon Archfiend card for Red Dragon Archfiend and only Red Dragon Archfiend, and Calamity will take Red Dragon Archfiend to the top" hype I see going around, the actual Deck (Resonator) has 15 more reliable choices for the ED and the cards that let it Synchro on the opponent's turns are bricks unless you run Branded Resonator instead of pure Resonator.
T.G. can Calamity Lock using Over Dragonar as the DARK Dragon Synchro non-Tuner material to hard-play it on the opponent's turn.

Great video but I think you, like many, are underrating what Kash will do and what it has done. It's the 4th or 5th best deck currently and it'll probably continue like that with the banlist since it only got the baronne hit. Also it isn't "stun" other than shifter
Kash is in a decent spot to continue doing what it does. It's not OP but also not underpowered. However so many things got re-introduced it might have been taken down a peg or two guess we'll see.

Dino doesn't even need to run the thunder dragon bricks. You just run the nemeses package and search corridor to end on conductor, colossus, dharc charmer + secret village, 3 mat appo and a I:P that can tag out into S:P or knightmare griffin
Does it worth to extend the nemeses package a bit? I remember key giving a free nat beast as well as shuffling back misc.
@babrad only flag is a searcher so you'd need to hard draw either keystone or corridor if you extend the package. Plus why make nat beast when you can make secret village? Nat beast loses to droplets and drnm while secret village shuts those off completely

if colossus is back and played a lot i don't know if Floowandereeze could survive, since it's biggest HT (shifter) doesn't do anything against the thunder dragon deck
I won't imagine it'll be played THAT much to make Colossus generic you need the Nemesys package and Colossus can't do anything against being flipped face down.
When people says "Colossus everywhere", they don't mean everyone's going to play Thunder Dragon, they mean everyone's going to play Nemesis, which is basically Prank-Kids on meth that work with Snake-Eye.

Can´t you just play a going second variant of Snake eyes with boardbreaker? Also, just a thought of mine, you could play a Dis Pater instead of a Baronne to get back the banished I:P, and play a Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend for time and to whipe the opponents Monsters?

You could play sky striker snake eye, it's a going 2nd variant which saw some experimentation with 2 engage
With just linkuriboh getting hit. SE link version still strong. I believe drytron might be high Rouge potential after it's support. Raika might be Rouge to start. Don't be surprised if it's surprisingly good.
pure snake eye can play the xyz package now. 1x zeus, 1x lyralusc assembled nightingale, 1x downard magician, 1x ty-phon or can cut the downard all together
They can cut downerd and put Fucho in to counter Tenpai

Hey! I play Springans! Its a Fire Mashine Deck. It can play prinzess and Banshee (Kolossus) with Regulus. Or you play eschatos with a pyro lock. And you can play against nibiru with rafflesia. sooo....yes! in my opinion it has so much potential. It is my favorit deck^^

I wanted to make a War Rock joke for not being on the winners board. But... Summon Limit now being on the forbidden list, actually hurts them from being able to slow the board building lol
Pure is still best variant but it plays in to nibiru and there is no way around it. I just do not see a way to truly do so without opening witch plus ash. If you play parallel exceed same thing but even worse. If you get nibbed with field spell up unless you open 3 hand traps you probably loose
Good tier list. I would just include Generaider Runick as a Rogue option. I have topped my locals several times with this deck over the last month(Mostly against fire and branded decks). I am shocked that people are not testing this deck. Boss Stage + Skill Drain = GG most games. Sleipnir the Runick Mane is what makes the deck good. It's also really fun to draw a lot of cards with this deck(Ex.Triple Tactics Talent, Runick Fountain, and Kuji-Kiri Curse).
Kuji-Kiri is a brick, not recommended. You also don't normally go into Fountain unless you don't have a Generaider combo ready
@@Harmonic14 Kuji-Kiri can be paired with any Runick card because of the new level 9 fusion Runick. Also, I only play only 1 Kuji-Kiri and Runick Foutain. Running only 1 Kuji-Kiri will avoid the issue of hard once per turn. Runick fountain is very important for cycling through the deck and enabling a better grind game. Usually after Fountain is used I go back to using Boss Stage or the other way around. It's nice to switch between field spells in different situations.

Rikka definitely has hidden potential the deck has been topping events post new support and Jasmine is at 3. Deck is still strong
Orcusts are much more of a side grade than a winner. 3 harp but losing 1 linkuriboh is not good.

Becomes may be more consistent with including stuff like Horus though so thats a huge benefit. More Harp Horrors to discard is always good.
^ Great point. I think Orcust still has some nice goodies but removing the Link 1 actually hinders way more decks than just snake eyes.

I see Runick Stun going to Tier 1 but nobody says anything about the bigger winner
Maybe I’m underrating FKSE but I could see this format being pretty broad but like 4 top tier decks, similar to DUNE after Arise-Heart was banned

Only downside to that is it limits innovation potential. That basically means Konami decides what's on your extra deck 100% of the time. I understand where you're coming from but I don't think that's the right plan
@@trevorgrace1250 not necessarily. Zeus and SP are great generic tools because they are based on removal. Negation should be saved for archetype specific boss monsters, while utility is fine in general.

I can see it happening some day. Now most of the flood gates are at one Prank Kids aren't quite the cancerous deck they used to be. Fairly explosive sure but not broken.
Im a mannadium player, and i think the deck is not going to be very well represented until people figure it out. Right now, I am running chaos angel and i am using reich heart and visas to make it with the hero lives prisma package. That way if you get nibirued, you at least have a semi tower monster as your end board.

Expect toolboxes to return. Generic options left arent as OP as baronne and borreload.
Expect vintage deck experimentation looking for decks or engines from other eras that did "perfect tier for a specific summon" like Windwitch being a crystal wing engine b4 upgrades

Do you suspect to see Melodious as a Tier or high tier potential? You didn't name them so that's why I'm asking xd, or may be that you considered them weak for this "season "?
Bless you bud, I think most people see Melodious as a glass canon deck at most, unless it's played in an unconventional way which is definitely possible.

@AdamAnouer I've been playing runic spright with a small 3 thunder dragon and 1 colossus package, use thunder to search thunder and pitch the searched thunder dragon for huggin to search fountain, then all your sprights are live to become colossus, works best if you start 1 thunder dragon, 2 sprights and a runic. I realize it isn't 100% consistent but it does give the deck a line to colossus and discard foder for huggin

A LOT of people sleeping on Sky Striker and it is imo the massive wildcard. As long as you are above average in competence in knowing how to play the deck, there is serious potential there to see Striker top events.
With Baronne and the other toxic synchro out of the way, massive potential to out grind the likes of Snake Eye/Fire King. Sky Striker also usually opts to run hand traps over board breakers, so there is pretty good potential against the Voiceless Voice match up.
I just see Multirole and Shark Cannon as massive wildcards as high impact meta relevant cards in addition to the obvious cards like Linkage and Widow Anchor.

Same but he's been the best Link 1 since he was introduced. He's so generically good not just in snake-eyes either like if you ever wanted a starter you'd never pick anything over him. It kind hurts my dino's to lose him too TBH because now tagging out Animadorned I gotta use trash cards.

Well, Chicken game is one of those cards that makes Set Rotation WAY better for any deck reliant on field spells. Card is super generic, easy to search, easy to recycle. I can see a ton of decks running it but... not all decks... it doesn't fit everything.
Engage at 3, mind control at 3, pot of desire at 3, upstart goblin at 3

You know what as someone who hates Sky Striker I actually don't mind them seeing them get their toys back now they can cheat behind all the flood gates... which lets be real they're still going to use. They seem to want decks to be much faster ends the sky striker fuel being back on the grid.
This banlist is telling players to be prepared to spend, especially se players. Because they are probably going to print new boss monsters that can support se in future. Will they be generic or archetype specific, how good will they be, can't say for sure, but konami is in full control of it from now on.
Honestly if anything I'd say the list more reflects the idea they want the game to be WAY faster. Money isn't the only factor, they're eliminating the OP synchro staples because no-one really runs anything else. I see what they're trying to do it's actually pretty cool.
Rokkets will need compensation for Savage dragon being banned in the new Synchro Monster.
Because they had a lot of cards that people around having Savage dragon out or summoning him

Compensation implies that Pachinkomoney hasn't been trying to kill Rokket for multiple formats now.
@@autobotstarscream765 Konami wasn't trying to hit the Rokkets directly it just so happens that the deck had cards that was very splashable in other very good decks

Hot take. We will see no thunder dragon decks top any events. It isn't doing squat. Too many outs for it and with nib, and handtraps and droplet, and impem and everything there is no way you are getting to Colossus freely and it's just going to be with orcust and Sky striker as cool rougue but no actual results.
Colossus will likely see play as an addition to already tough to crack boards. Same with Protos. But seeing Thunder Dragon or Swordsoul is unlikely.
Tl;dr: We'll see Colossus and/or Protos backed by big boards as generic techs
I think with in the first few weeks people will try to splash colossus in their decks. May or may not do anything.
Bystial Thunder can be a solid tier 2 deck that will be extremely annoying to face especially if colossus is not in the meta and you aren't prepared for it. My issue as the other comments said is that there is a good chance a new tier 1 deck will be cooked that utilizes either Colossus or Protos to their full extent. Especially Protos since it can be a win condition on its own if facilitated by a tier 1 engine.
How much potential does Superheavy have now, without those omni negates?

Do you search protos with banshee? Mannadium can make rank 4s ig, but that route seems unexplored

@@idkdontask7142 it's a 2 card combo, did I through ash and a imperm, now nibiru is another weakness the deck has to worry about, but crossout and prohibition are most likely gonna see some play in the deck
