Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
I have the slightly larger cousin of this watch with the little turbine blade that spins around - the GST-B400BD-1A2. It is by far one of my favorite practical watches to wear and it is nice to have a G-Shock that is not oversized on my 6.5" wrist. I agree with all your points about these watches. The spring bar links, the fact I can swap out the metal bracelet with the resin strap easily, the usability of the buttons, and the Bluetooth and phone app makes setting time a breeze. The metal bracelet is a bit noisy with its pressed clasp but this is offset by the other good points of this watch.
This is the best yet, I first got its big brother Casio Oak. Now love this Smaller, dressier with Blue Tooth, but relinking with those spring bars is a nuisance with spring bars flying.
I am a diehard G-Shock fan. They are awesome everyday watches. I hike, camp, ski, go to the gym, etc. I like having a timepiece on me at all times that I know won't break if I bang it up against something. If it get a ding or scratch here or there, it's not the end of the world. In fact, it gives it some character. I take care of my stuff of course, but things happen. I bring out nicer watches for more fancy occasions.
Great video! I have this watch and love it… The phone finder function is what makes connectivity advantageous… The only thing i don’t like about this watch is that there’s no general solar power indicator display (it only appears when low) and that you need to check the app for it… I’d recommend this for anyone who isn’t big on a watch collection but needs something for all occasions and styles
Got the one on the rubber strap, absolutely awesome watch for smaller wrists. Three negatives though: 1. the negative display, too dark and too small; 2. the edges on top of the case are somewhat sharp; 3. the lume, they should have lumed the hour markers right at the top where they meet the crystal
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO
My “circumnavigate the world” watch is a Casio Oceanus OCW-T4000. It’s not a G-Shock, but it’s been through the wringer the last two years. It has no scratches worth mentioning, probably because of the TiC coating.
I really liked it but I prefer to have Arabic numerals around the outside... As a ex military person myself, I can tell you for sure that ease of readability and not second-guessing yourself is the best thing ever😎✌️
I have this watch and it is great; perfect size. However I made the mistake of buying it with the resin band which is way too small unless your wrists are tiny. Buy it with the steel bracelet, otherwise it will cost more to buy it separately later. It also looks and feels much better!
I got myself a silver G Shock GM-2100-1AER for about 160€ a year ago but this model made me think again. Gorgeous design, love the bracelet. And the fact that it's heavier and doesn't feel like a child's toy.
If you want a larger version, look to the B400 version of this watch. That is the one I have and love it for casual nights out, I have been thinking about this smaller b600 for use with a sleeved shirt. The polished hands show nicer than the blacked out ones on the B400 as well. Hopefully we see more variants of these G-Steel like they did with the B400. Oh and with G-Shock, the Bluetooth is optional, fully functional without it. It only uses BT when syncing so I have my BT Casio watches sync manually since 4 times a day is too much for my taste.

I just picked up this watch from a BIC camera for $260. You're definitely right about this wearing way smaller than its diameter suggests. The dial seems to be about the same as my BB36 but yeah with the bezel it feels about 38mm.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.
I have owned 4 Rolex and 1 Omega, a ton of other brands (I'm a collector crazy watch guy) and the God T Goat is Casio G-Shock. I have the MR-G B5000B and many 2100s. G-Shock is an honest to God great brand and a great company. Rolex plays games with it's customers (you know what I mean with wait list and making you buy models you don't like to have a sales history in hopes to get the hot model that you want) nobody like Rolex, everybody loves Casio.
own this watch for past 6mo - like the modest size dial and thinness. agree display can be hard to read at times - and can only see 1 thing at a time (seconds or digital time or date - so choose one but can rotate). overall very pleased

Spring bar links - brilliant! I have several G-Shocks. The squares are pretty wearable. My Mudmaster is more of a novelty, because it's just not very practical being so large.

Traveling with this watch is really cool u go in the app and boom u are sync as soon as u land. Never liked bulky g shock so this is super cool one to get

Good they have solid links. I wish they made an affordable square 56xx in steel. Above 250 USD I start looking at microbrands with mechanical movements.
Finally a good size in metal - and also not an MRG. The titanium G Shock with camouflage was quite nice, but then it cost £1500. This option seems to be a good middle ground

Check out the Casio G-Shock MTG series (JDM). They are thinner and have even more features. Similarly, Casio's Oceanus line are also very nice and feature rich.
I've seen harsh finishing on casio hour and minute hands. Probably one of the few things they need to refine. Steel a great looking watch and unique one for a gshock.
Nice review and for me the G-Shock - don't have one yet but looking for a fun cool one - is both traditional quality and style and fun for a reasonable price - part of the fun :) The strength is also about the great variations in colours and materials that totally transforms the look and feel. A watch for every occasion. Btw. showed the Rolex comparison to my colleague and Casio looked most desirable to both of us... Finally as a side note, you look alot like the great comedian Michael Davis :)

Hmm might be trading my gst w130 although I have never seen a better illumination on any gshock. If Casio reads comments, give me a gstb650 with a little bit of the sport gsquad bluetooth tech and the illumination of the gst w130 in the same size of this one
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
Is Casio Tough Solar reliable like Citizen Eco Drive? I completely trust Citizen Eco Drive and think they’re very reliable. My experience with Seiko Solar on the other hand leads me to believe it’s garbage and I don’t trust it and will never buy one ever again. Hence, I am wary of solar technology watches, Citizen excluded.
Great size, nice tapered bracelet. Hour and minute hands aren’t long and legible enough. The dial seems kinda cluttered. Digital display ain’t legible. Fix those and you have a winner
I like the size but the indices are weirdly shaped and the legibility is not great. A watch of this type needs to be legible or what's the point? Add in a lack of running seconds and this is a hard no for me.

My 2 favourite G Shocks in my collection are the MTG B2000 & MTG 1500. The 1500 is only 40mm in bezel circumference and 45mm including the protective bumpers, so maybe the B600 would look alright on wrist.

interesting choice with the spring bar bracelet. spring bars are known to have a high failure point.

Pin and collars are the most secure though. Even g shock still use pins in their titanium watches.
My G Shock from 2016 is fine .. stainless steel .. no scratches.
