Really enjoyed this two part story. It would be interesting if you could explore creating your own logo and adding it to the watch dial, that would really make it custom!
@@camenskycameron8413 I just wanna make my own logo and have it extruding like my idea is a four leaf clover and the word or Pronoun Quinn cuz it’s my last name
This watch wasn’t feminine at all even with the other bracelet. Was very enjoyable to watch and to see your pure excitement of making and upgrading your watch. I’m at the start of my watch making journey and stuff like this is really helpful and exciting to watch.
Im in the process of ordering parts for my own field watch. Ive found this series the most down to earth, and helpful one of the many modding videos of UA-cam. Good work dude. The bad thing, is that im already planning my second one before ive even ordered the parts for my first.
I’ve made two just order parts for a third… now I’m deciding which movements to try next haha. I’m giving one of them to my dad for a retirement present though so I’m not counting that one haha.ive been doing NH35A movements. I’m struggling to decide between gmt next or chronograph.
I'm enjoying learning along with you and appreciate the production quality of your videos. The closeups let me see exactly what's happening when you set the hands. Great job and thank you for sharing!
Would you be able to put out a video tutorial on how to search for and find the parts? Like how you make sure the parts will all work with each other, keywords you use to find specific styles of hands, cases, faces…
Yeah I back this, would love to see how you pick and choose what you order and how to make sure you’re getting the right parts - especially for absolute beginners like me
Built my very own after seeing your first watch video and I'm obsessed! I made the mistake of not getting a hand pusher or the fancy blue tack, so the seconds hand took me a while to get on but nothing beats wearing a watch you built every day :)
I'm on my second watch build and I'm waiting on parts for a titanium case diver to arrive. It's so rewarding and gives you endless pleasure seeing something on your wrist that you assembled/built. Also it's a nice present to give a loved one a custom watch to their specs and design!
i just ordered parts yesterday for my first build thanks in part to this series making it look approachable. Its a Seiko and somewhat funnily i did white and silver with the cyan lume and hands
I just feel so identified with this man right here, because I'm just as perfectionist as he is. People around me just think I'm overdramatic with certain things, so I really enjoy watching another me lol, it couldn't feel more relatable. Congrats on these great videos btw!
rodico has lots of uses with watch building! its very handy to get tiny specks of dust off a watch face with out harming it and i liked to place items i didnt wanna lose in it like screws etc when i used to service watches
First time hearing about a "Deck" watch but now know the history of this type from the website. Always improving knowledge of time pieces thanks to JOMW! Fantastic
lovely summerwatch oh so fresh and clean you ever have questions i am a watchmaker from holland so just ask!! rodico is watchmaker third hand and carbon tweezers very nice and yes movement holders you realy need!!!
Btw I ordered everything you had linked and here are my findings: 1- to find the correct pushers to hse is almost impossible. 2- the nh34 is fairly lose inside the nh34 case. 3- the hammer sticker was nothing like yours. I got a flimsy skeletonized sticker. 4- the blue bezzle was NOTHING like yours. So I had to order black hands with a blue gmt hand. 5- I went with a grey leather strap. 6- the seconds hand was the hardest to push in. I was soo scared if I pushed it wrong it would destroy the seconds post. Note to anyone who thinks this is easy....IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT. It would be easier if I had a microscope because these parts are Flippin TINY! Rodico was a life saver.
I love watching these. I've now built close to 15 watches(I need to stop, help me please) since your 62MAS homage where you got me hooked on this hobby. I can't wait to watch the next one. Cheers
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. amzwatch brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
In 1 weeks time I have put a oled screen in my original GBC and revived a old seiko 4004 from 1977 so it’s pretty awesome to see one of my favorite UA-camrs doing the same thing 😁
I recently started building NH35 based watches and enjoy your content. By accident I found that a tiny amount of rodico on the tip of the second hand pusher grips the hand directly over the post. With a decent magnification I can line up and push the hand on easily. Also the grippy back of the case cushion is excellent for removing/tightening screw-in case backs.
This absolutely resembles the Christopher Ward C65 Aquitaine GMT. Your bezel is a lighter blue but they both look great. On the other hand I think the jubilee bracelet is too dated and the oyster style is cleaner. Everyone’s taste is different of course!
The boy is learning...but twist the rodeco to a point and it's sticky enough to barely pick up the hand by its pointy tip allowing you to place the hand and push fit it with the slightest touch
It will sound weird but when my plastic tips tweezers wear out, I just sharpen them with an exacto knife. Works like a charm to make a propper sharp tip
1:00 My Vostok Komandirskie watch also is like that. The hour and minute hands are out by 5 minutes and the 24 wheel of this model is out by 20 minutes from the hours hand. Not that this bothers me as it does not affect reading the time and is part of the Russian made roughness of it. The most watchmaking I have done is regulating this piece and modifying 3 Casios.
you have inspired me to build my own watch! Just one question though...how is it in terms of weight? My fear is that I'd buy parts that are light and cheap feeling, but look good. Thanks
Amazing mate, please keep doing these vids. I've ordered my first tools to play arounf with my watch and you inspire to try and build my own from scratch
I have here latex gloves, finger cots and a bag of cotton gloves, took me a while to find cots that I could put up with as I have super thick hands and fingers, my little fingers are both Z's and my middle finger is Z+4... standard cots just don't fit nor gloves but the cotton ones do stretch enough to not be restrictive.
Watch out for cotton as it can leave fibers on the movement. If you can find aftermarket nitrile or latex gloves in extra large you can cut off the thumbs and see if they fit.
Really enjoyable content, first video I've seen from you, thanks to the algorithm I noticed you're like myself and shake a lil bit, try and release some of the tension from your arms/hands as best you can when trying to focus, it's easy to get tense under the concentration, but relaxing will ease a lot of those shakes And get yourself a loupe asap! The difference it makes is incredible and you'll have a deeper understanding of the movement you're working on The blue is so nice, don't think it would suit me, but just another video that is getting me tempted to pimp a watch of my own!
Jubilee is way better than the Oyster bracelet!! Also a nice addition that you have the Glidelock adjustment on it, which the real GMT doesn't actually have! Wish mine did!
Could you please make a video of how to find the right suiting parts for any watch?? Im trying to build my own but am struggling with finding the right pieces.
What usually throws me off on those 200~500 gmt replica type watches are the bracelets jiggling and making a sound. Was wondering if you would be able to find like a really high quality bracelet for the watch
i feel like it would probably easier for you to have a much lower chair/much higher desk (that is the setup most matchmaker use) other than that great job
the bergeon stuff is just really worth it.. sure they are pricey... but then again.. it's like getting patek grade tools at rolex prices.. so they're basically a steal..
oyster bracelet is good for daytona's or some of datejust's, for submariner jubilee looks better. And this watch is built too good, for what it actually is. but we can tell that you spent a lot of your time on that. Keep up the good work bro!
Please get a yellow strap for a little ad on or a light blue one ik a lot of people don’t like rubber straps but I think it would look nice on this watch
And gmt hand shud be above hour hand if we speaking with Rolex inspired in mind. P/s if you have near to you any local vapemod vendor you can buy a ceramic tip tweezer.
Really enjoyed this two part story. It would be interesting if you could explore creating your own logo and adding it to the watch dial, that would really make it custom!
Please dude I’m trying to do this myself the dimensions are hard to work with in gimp lmao
Did you watch all the way to the end?!
I think it’d be cooler if he’d engrave the logo into the crown,
He pretty much made the logo-less dials his thing and I learned to like it
@@camenskycameron8413 I just wanna make my own logo and have it extruding like my idea is a four leaf clover and the word or Pronoun Quinn cuz it’s my last name
My first name is Cameron so I like ur name lmao
Continue with this custom watch videos! I absolutely love watching you build watches, since you don’t do it in a professional/corporate way.

it is possible to have the links to compose the same watch
I love how happy this makes you.
yes!! its so wholesome :)

Would you be able to put out a video tutorial on how to search for and find the parts? Like how you make sure the parts will all work with each other, keywords you use to find specific styles of hands, cases, faces…
Just search NH34/35/36 then add dial, hands, case etc. I search for nh35 case, nh35 dial, nh35 hands. You'll find exactly what you need.
Check the description. That’s where he gets his parts.
Yeah I back this, would love to see how you pick and choose what you order and how to make sure you’re getting the right parts - especially for absolute beginners like me
most nh parts fit with each other I believe. Most common parts are nh35
Built my very own after seeing your first watch video and I'm obsessed!
I made the mistake of not getting a hand pusher or the fancy blue tack, so the seconds hand took me a while to get on but nothing beats wearing a watch you built every day :)
What a build. BEAUTIFUL. No logo actually ADDS to it as it’s a custom
Can you please start uploading these videos in 4k. These watches are too beautiful too appreciate them fully in just 1080p. Thanks man

Really enjoying this content Elliot, makes me want go back to analog again! So cool. ❤

In 1 weeks time I have put a oled screen in my original GBC and revived a old seiko 4004 from 1977 so it’s pretty awesome to see one of my favorite UA-camrs doing the same thing 😁
I personally would go for the discreet jubilee bracelet as this one has a very sharp clasp.(mine did anyways)
Elliot I am loving this watch content! Thank you for bringing us along as you dive into your new hobby!

It looks so cool loving this series.
So am I!
If you worry about scratching the metal, you can use the plastic bag your bracelet came in, placing it between the watch and the screwdriver.
Your enthusiasm made me click that subscribe button... Absolutely stunning build, i recon for my own build instead of buying from vanilla watch brands
Still a beautiful watch and it's even prettier with the new bracelet. I love it.
The boy is learning...but twist the rodeco to a point and it's sticky enough to barely pick up the hand by its pointy tip allowing you to place the hand and push fit it with the slightest touch
it looks so good that im really considering trying to make one.
Just found your channel and was asking my parents I wanted a good automatic watch now I have seen this and the first one am going to make my own😊
one of the nicest looking watches i’ve ever seen 👌🏻
Well done. Super nice looking watch. Those AliExpress parts can be extremely good quality.
It will sound weird but when my plastic tips tweezers wear out, I just sharpen them with an exacto knife. Works like a charm to make a propper sharp tip

Awesome upgrade! 👌 Man, I feel the same way about the finger-doms 😂 Definitely make the fingers numb afterwards, and they are also quite slippery.
Omg I have just ordered all the bits to make mine exactly the same 😮
I am so glad to see a part two on this ! Really liking your watch content !
Keep on going ! 😁🙏🏻
omg I love the turquoise color
I would've never been interested in watching somebody build watches or a scooter, but somehow I enjoy both when Elliott does it.
I was glad to see this pop up in my feed. Thanks for creating this.

if you like watch repairing watches, I can suggest Wristwatch Revival. The Bob Ross of watches
Hey man I saw that u didnt link the movement holder, I would love it if u did
Loved the first video. Its even better with the new band. I have the same one on my galaxy watch 6 classic.
About the GMT hand, would be just moving/setting it to align?
At least on a ronda 515.24H the GMT hands moves freely on the setting position
You’ve inspired me to get into watch building 😄
If this was a NH34 with the GMT movement, why can't you just adjust the GMT hands to the right position from the crown?
Really enjoyable content, first video I've seen from you, thanks to the algorithm

I have to say that AMZWATCH 's watches are amazing!
Could you please make a video of how to find the right suiting parts for any watch?? Im trying to build my own but am struggling with finding the right pieces.
I use a hockey puck as a cushion… works wonders
Michael J Fox helping with the hand placement.
That mate, is a very nice looking watch!
What usually throws me off on those 200~500 gmt replica type watches are the bracelets jiggling and making a sound. Was wondering if you would be able to find like a really high quality bracelet for the watch
Love the colour you chose for this watch really great content if my eyes 👀 were good enough I really would give making one the same a go.👍👍🙏
Would love to see you make a open heart Watch!!
i feel like it would probably easier for you to have a much lower chair/much higher desk (that is the setup most matchmaker use) other than that great job
It might help to use a loupe when aligning the hands.
Beautiful! BTW they are called finger cots 😉
I love kislux that on the butterfly bag it says auguri / tanti auguri which means happy birthday
When people are saying #amzwatch is a better option for buying a watch,I very much agree!
You should try to create a cartier tank/Jaeger lecoultre inspired watch, that would be so cool
Hey your videos inspired me to start making watches and i finished my first one a couple days ago its super fun thank you for making these vids
Hey
I see that there are a lot of dial size options available 29, 31 mm.
What size should be ordered to fit this submariner style case?
Nice watch. I wonder if there’s a bezel that’s half blue half silver. That would be so nice
the bergeon stuff is just really worth it.. sure they are pricey... but then again.. it's like getting patek grade tools at rolex prices.. so they're basically a steal..
the custom watch is insane
Small tio: you Should not be blowing on the movement side, can blow oils out of place. Love the enthusiasm.
Do you work on high end watches?
Rodeco is great stuff for cleaning smudges too
Ifixit makes the BEST plastic tipped metal tweezers fyi.
love the tiffany blue color 🥰 but i like the oyster band more than the jubilee one
oyster bracelet is good for daytona's or some of datejust's, for submariner jubilee looks better. And this watch is built too good, for what it actually is. but we can tell that you spent a lot of your time on that. Keep up the good work bro!
You really hammered us with ads on this one…
Please get a yellow strap for a little ad on or a light blue one ik a lot of people don’t like rubber straps but I think it would look nice on this watch
It's like the DS wire removal and install the whole time
Jubilee tapering is always the best.
awesome video man! would be great if you did a marinemaster homage, like the original but with sapphire and full lumed ceramic bezel etc.
very nice, love the colors !
Ive got the same problem with the finger cots of the same brand!!
love the meticulousness, do the bezel next. It seems slightly misaligned 😅keep up the builds!
Thank you for inspiring me to make watch content
Very nice Elliot!
Beautiful and awesome!
God's shakiest soldier, building watches. Beautiful watch.
Not something I'd wear, but damn that is a good looking watch
Hello, it seems Rodico link and movement holder have the same aliexpress link, can you edit so I can see exactly what did you buy? thanks!
ive been binging all your content on both channels since finding these watch videos lmao inspiring stuff.
Just made my own watch today. Handy are the hardest part
And gmt hand shud be above hour hand if we speaking with Rolex inspired in mind. P/s if you have near to you any local vapemod vendor you can buy a ceramic tip tweezer.
I love your videos!! I really want to build or buy a custom GMT 😢
Hey Elliot, how are you planning to add your logo to the dial? I want to do something similar
Doesn’t the GMT hand move independently from the other hands when you’re at the date selection function and turn the crown the opposite direction?
Absolutely love these watch videos
