As a 6ft man, I honestly feel blessed
It is true that I was born in Spain and lived in europe my entire life. I live in the UK now, and a lot of young people are very tall and you can feel insecure even at my height over here but after seeing what short people go through I will always be thankful for my height.
Especially since I am asian (pakistani) and very few asians are over 6ft so I was lucky.
Short people are extremely discriminated against. We need to step up for them.

As a short man, my request to everyone is
to
NOT blame those who opt for this surgery
have experienced height related
disadvantages first hand. lt's literal social
exclusion.
Don't blame the victims, it's the society that
needs to be held accountable.
What boils my blood is seeing how half of
the
"body positivity" movement is about obesity
and skin issues - both of which that can be
changed, however with shortness, it is
completely genetic yet shortness is looked
down upon the most.
Exactky people taunt about height which noone can control
Good perspective. Thanks brother
You are behaving hypocritically. I agree short leko shouldn't be judge but you want people to accept you yet you judge them for their appearance. Some forms of skin issues cannot be altered.
I think that people shouldn't comment on things that cannot be fixed within five seconds.
I like how you're looking at skin issues and obesity but according to you this is important. Many times obesity is hormonal and so it's skin issues. Stop looking at some body shaking like its nothing and then you're taking about change in mentality. Stop joking
The same thing goes with baldness as well, things which are not in our hands and are completely genetic break us completely.
Going to re-watch and re-comment for reach because YOU deserve it. And this video deserves it.

Mohak, you don't know how much this video made my day. I have been insecure for most of my life, not due to height, but due to my looks, color, voice and physique. I used to really think that there was something wrong with me and lost the motivation to do anything - affecting my education and work. But once I realized that these are all societal norms and constructs, I started caring less about societal acceptance and that eventually built my confidence back. Although I still feel this alienation at times, I am in a much better shape now. I see that society has started to change, it might take some time though. And I hope your video reaches everyone so that people like me don't feel like we are some sort of aberrations and the so called normal people get educated

I heard about this surgery long back. just out of curiosity i think it was a youtube video & it was shocking to know that they deliberately break the bones to grow tall. It's really sad that people decide to do this inspite of the risks. However to be specific society that we live in makes us feel insecure about ourselves & it becomes very difficult to overcome that. Absolutely brilliant documentary! Kudos to you and your team. I'm not a short guy but i'm not tall either. I've still struggled with my height insecurity... This video made me feel so much better about myself. Thank you mohak!
As a short height guy i am writing to short height people
People often undergo surgery due to societal pressures-when people mock or laugh at them. However, this doesn't necessarily diminish self-confidence. I've seen many people shorter than me speak fluently in front of the whole school. It's not about height; it's about confidence. I know that appearance can contribute to confidence, but mental control is everything.
You can still find a good partner around your height easily because boys aren't the only ones with short height; girls are too.
Boys, stop being distracted by these things. Focus on your body, studies, and improving your life to become successful. Eventually, when you have enough money, these things will not matter.
Keep going, boys!
I'm quite short(4'11") compared to avg Indian females. I'm short because of both genetics and nutrition. However, reasons could never resolve my insecurities around it. The issue of height has been brewing inside me, starting from the last year of school to college. I have even commited some pretty morally questionable acts, that might have stem from my insecurities around height. Although, none of them added an inch to my height, some ground rules and acceptance have definitely added to my peace of mind about the fact of height. I am yet to fully become immune to my insecurities, but for the most part, I'm a fairly confident individual now. For people who have similar insecurity, please remember that most people are too busy looking at their own issues than judging you. Take your time to understand that. Also, people won't remember for how you looked, but they'll definitely remember for how you made them feel. Not to promote people pleasing, but simply if you can show them that you're a confident, calm individual who does not judge and is neither bothered about it, they'll remember that feeling of peace you offered them. Rest assured, none of us can have it all. So, let's try and focus on areas we actually have control over and enjoy doing so.
One last point, if there's people around you who is mocking you for height, rather than it being an indication of your height, it is an indication of their immaturity that they still couldn't manage to move past someone's height in a sea of other issues to look at.
Hope it helps ❤
No ur not... Quite literally 5' is ok height hai for a female in India.. & me tumhe maska ni maar raha.. 🙄
I AM 5.1 still getting approached by guys who are 5 .11 or something ,height is not a limitation for women in general .It is very rare that women are judged for being Short ,mostly women are judged for being fat ,dark skinned etc.
So you are basically 5 ft and avg height for women in india is 5'2-5'3 something
thats like 5 6 5 7 for guy
@@annalesewinget6792 For men too, as long as you're fair looking and handsome, height doesn't even matter. Most Indian girls just want you to be taller than them or atleast the same height, especially if you meet the other criterias.
Mohak I am supporting your documentaries to the fullest.

So excited for this documentary series! Good work Mohak ❤
Being a thirty-year-old man of 5.3 height, I used to feel like a failure. However, in the last two years, I've come to believe that it doesn't matter because life is about doing good deeds, helping others, and living with someone. Marriage isn't necessary; you can live alone, change the world by helping others, and find someone who is truly deserving of your friendship. Therefore, height has no bearing on whether someone makes fun of you or tries to make you feel humiliated. If you believe that these individuals are your friends or family, you are mistaken; they are not. Instead, live your life on your own terms, so put aside your concern for what other people think, and carry on with your convictions.
Still aise bht saari chize thi toh shyd aap kr skte the life me jo kam height ki wajah se nhi kar paaye don't you feel like this ?

Mohak, you are really great at bringing topics to people's attention. Judging based on physicality is a bad mindset in society by birth. It is time to judge people based on their personality traits, which they develop independently, irrespective of circumstance.
I really appreciate the fact that towards the end of this video you mentioned that this isn't just about men and their insecurities with height; instead it is actually about every human who is insecure about certain physical characteristics that are purely genetic and are unaffected by their actions. As a girl who's been subjected to the so-called 'female beauty standards' and spent years doubting my capabilities basis other people's comments and opinions, here's something to think about people, "Before worrying about things beyond your control, are you giving your 100% to the things in your control?" If there is one physical trait you cannot achieve, there are at least 10 other traits, physical, mental, skillful, professional, social, etc. etc., that you can work on (ofc without going through dangerous procedures and painful surgeries), and be a better human for yourself.

It's important to remember that historical figures such as Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, and Alexander the Great were notably shorter in stature, ranging from 5'4 to 5'6. This serves as a reminder that one's physical height does not determine their capability or greatness; rather, it is their character, determination, and leadership qualities that define their impact and legacy.
It is believed that those men were compensating for their height

Correction*
Average height in those days was much lower because of lack of nutrition. So 5'4-5'6 was actually not short.
I don't remember exact sources but you can probably find it if you look for it, mohak also said about nutrition in video.
@@vortexgaming6775 actally reality about them is that they were shorter than the average, not exact height is written.
another point to note is that during those times, there was no internet and social media, so average people would not compare themselves with 1000s of other people. Social media has destroyed this society.
Excellent Documentary 👏🏻
“hats off Mohak 🙌🏻"
Such a hardworking person hatts off 🙏🙏
Self realisation is the only way to overcome insecurites. You can never get rid of insecurities in the literal sense like Mohak said where does it stop!! Therefore we should strive to live a self fulfilled life and try to push the society in a positive direction. Instead of blaming it and hating ourselves we can change ourselves and the society too.
(Saying this as a 5"2 guy with baldness and a thin body complexion)
Loved it bhaiya 💖
Much needed video
Hope you will continue to show reflection to our society that hamari kamiya kya h and hopefully we will change its view together.
I am 5'6 18 year old and have i little bit of insecurity about my height but slowly i have realised that everyone have his own flows i am happy with it. To bhad me jaye vo log unki think jo mujhe inferior feel karaye.
And to all those jinko rejection milta h apni love life me only because of their height then be thankful because they don't even deserve you. Work on yourself and be a better human that's it.
Chin up champ, there will always be someone taller than you, stronger than you, smarter than you.....BE YOU!
Great video Mohak... Waiting for more such documentaries.
Once again 😊 Breaking the natural laws for personal gain
Guys I've stopped growing since my 7th standard. I'm only 4'10, not only my friends but even some of my teachers mocked me. I cried so badly during my teenage years but let me tell you don't be swept by what the society tells you, we just have to try to become the best version of ourselves. Today I'm 35, still 4'10 but majority of my friends envied me for who I am today.
Ahh mera bhi ek frnd tha school mai 4'10 ka hi approx we used to crack jokes about his height
Because sabko lagta hai ki kisi ki insecurity ka majak udana normal hai
Aj realise hua hai jaker ki kitna logo ko affect hota hai ya sab 😢
Mohak, keep it up. I'm confident about this series, all the best.
Excellent work brother.
Support 💯🎉
Amazing documentary. Hats off to efforts
However, I feel that you should have also told how much is the increase in height pre and post surgery.
Because the whole time I was thinking that these people are ready to do the surgery and all for how many freaking inches.
So, I searched
Google answers ranged between 8cm to 15 cm, which is when I realised that it's a significant amount and that is when my perspective for them changed from being harsh to acceptable (Not supportive still though).
Nontheless, this video really made me feel validated and I loved it.
EXCELLENT WORK DONE BY U SIR BY UPLOADING THIS❤❤
