On 10th April 2024, the SC shouted at the Uttarakhand government authorities, "We will rip you apart", for their lack of action against Patanjali when it produced misleading ads for the consumers. Some people were happy that the Govt and Patanjali were finally being shown their place for how its ads fooled Indians. But others like Arnab Goswami immediately asked why the SC is shouting at Patanjali so much and not other FMCG brands like Pepsi, who also show misleading ads. What those people don't realise is that of course we should also criticise every company. However, the strictest punishment should be reserved for those who, during India's toughest medical crisis where, claim that their Ayurvedic medicine can cure people from COVID-19. This is a detailed video about how our government and media supported Patanjali's Coronil when India needed the most scientific solutions.

Even defence stations you would see patanjali products it was like 5-6 years don't know if the item is still being restocked
Don't spread misinformation, i have relatives who are in army so i almost regularly visit CSD's never see patanjali products there except dant kanti toothpaste, but there are other toothpaste products too so I don't see a problem in this

I've never used Patanjali products till now. When I was in eighth grade, I went to the Patanjali Clinic for general checkup for the first time. They diagnosed me with thyroid and other problems and advised me to consume amla alovera juice to heal them. My parents couldn't believe it, so they had me checked at another hospital, and guess what? I don't have any of the diseases. Since then, we have never even looked at the Patanjali store.
Its healthy fruit u should use to prevent heart issue in future.
@@intrusionman4157 I'm not saying it's unhealthy, but telling me I have thyroid and blood sugar issues when I don't and selling it as a remedy for those conditions is wrong. Let's assume I had it, only alovera amla juice can't fix it. You need to use the required medicine and add amla juice to your diet to see the results. Proper medication is necessary to tackle these kind of diseases.
As a physician, I have seen a recent case of a 51 yrs old female who went to a naturopathy centre in Udupi run by Dharmasthala and they did investigations which were abnormal. She came back and did the same in a standard lab and all the reports were normal. This is without any medicines and 1 month apart. Neither modern medicine nor any medicines from them.

@@mdmahbuburrahman5422 there are several reasons. Like verbal abuse from seniors , lack of ethics, no leaves -they have to work for 24 hrs straight sometimes even 36 hrs with 10-15 minutes of break . No leaves on Sunday or any day even if someone is sick , they can't take leave. A pregnant resident student commited suicide last year because of this reason.

seniors were treating residency very badly they weren't even allowed to sleep the student used be awake for 36 hours and sometimes more

People in our area believed that coronil cures corona but it was the shopkeeper who sells coronil told the people that it is fake. Thanks for the informative content. This is proof that we need to check facts before blindly believing a celebrity promoting a product. Both individuals involved in misleading campaigns/ads should have owned up to their mistakes and taken prompt action to stop or curb the mileading ads after the initial order of SC in 2023 itself.

i use patanjali products some are really good but some are poor.
i and my family used coronil and it was effective.
i used sensodyne which was really bad but patanjali's dant kanti has helped me.
But patanjali honey is not so good.
I choose not to follow a brand but follow products based on their effectiveness.
Baba Ramdev popularised yoga and i respect him for it.
For those who do yoga know its real benefits others will always be sceptical.

Ask someone who has spent time healing in patanjali ashram in haridwar and he will tell you how good the treatment is.

Plus ICU patients might carry hospital acquired infections. They are very hard to treat. Avoiding contact with attendants is important.

Anyway, my point is that logic should prevail over false emotions. Emotions can be manipulated but logic can't be.
I hate this guys because I remember my grandma started following him. She was a patient of depression and diabetes and was on medicine for years. This guy started saying that Yoga will cure any disease which and after few months of following him she stopped taking medicine which made her depression and diabetes so much worse. She was very disciplined not taking any sugar or carbohydrates but after that she said I am cured by Yoga and started eating those as well. It destroyed so much of her body function we had to mix the medicine in food or tea so that she would take it. She used to go to the market or to meet relatives but after this incident her body stopped functioning and more problems arose which led to her not even being able to go to the bathroom or kitchen. My family had to suffer a lot due to this fraud.

I would say Giloy Ghanvati is a wonder medicine ..but people should check for GMP Certification on the packing and also as if the medicine follows the standards of API (Ayurveda pharmacopeia of India) .. There are many pharmaceutical companies other than patanjali making core effective medicines . . Ayurveda is more & much beyond than Patanjali .

Well, companies do not directly use hexane in their oils but every refined oil (Sunflower, Peanut, Mustard, etc.) are refined with petrochemical products, namely Hexane and Butane. That is what Ramdev was trying to tell with Mineral Oils, or what we call "Refined" Oils... We do not use Refined Oils at home for cooking and always prefer the Cold Pressed ones.

The problem is, we see Aayurved from an Allopathic angle. We want a modern scientific certificate for Naturopathy. I understand that many ads may be misleading, but it can't be denied that the aayurvedic medicines are an absolute gem. We as normal people would have never be able to get a cure from natural products in absence of what we have today. Dabur, Baidyanath, and many other age old players were there, but the promotion and reach of Patanjali and Divya made it a household material. Aloe vera, Giloy, Amla, Shatavari, and what not..today people know it because of Patanjali. Naturopathy and Aayurved should be a part of our daily life, not these chemicals based medicines. Yes their ads may be misleading, but I am bothered about their products more than anything else.
1. There is no allopathic angle. It's a scientific angle. If you claim your product X works then prove it in a double blind test. It's that simple. Doesn't matter whether the product is allopathic or homeopathic or Chinese medicine.. prove your efficacy.
2. Patanjali became popular because of their viral marketing not because they are better than other ayurvedic brands.. and people consuming more ayurvedic products has zero bearing on their health cause there are no tests done.
3. Ayurvedic products are also chemicals.. every single medicine we consume is a chemical.
Then naturopathy and Ayurved shouldn't claim that they can cure every disease from the root . The people who didn't know about the plants you've mentioned, simply never looked at their surroundings and read books about plants. And they now think that those plants cure everything..,
The sad part is Government is busy doing advertisements and the court is running the country. 😢
