Morning Mike from your biggest ol man fan Polo, Mo
Thanks for the support.
I love me some Temp Twister coils! Next attempt is to try one in a 120L Speidel! Cheers!
Welcome back! I was checking out your channel the other day wondering what was up and didn't want to bother you otherwise, I'd said, "All good?". Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Speidel fermenters as they have WAY too many rough edges. I have a smaller one and occasionally use it to make Kombucha.
Cool video, Mike!
Thank you and just trying to show everyone there are a ton of options for fermentation systems. I'll be working on showing the glycol upgrade to the Anvil Crucible in the near future.
Good morning Mike kegking has a better jacket for every fermenter than zipps up love your video I'm in Australia
I just looked up their 60L Jacket. It looks really nice but sadly I haven't seen it here in the U.S. yet. Great respect for Australia, and hope to someday visit. Thanks for the feedback.
Alsome show thanks
Thank you for the support!
Man, I had all these things in my cart untill you said you couldn't get above 5 psi with all this added
Be careful, as I tried using the all-Fermzilla flat bottom, and I accidentally went over 5 psi for just a few seconds, and now it looks like a goofed-up all-rounder. 😂😂😂 I'll figure out how to fix it eventually.
I love keg land's innovation, got their pills and temp controller. Glycol chillers are so dang expensive, I went with 6 gallon torpedo kegs and a freezer. For 500 bucks I got 2 - 6 gallon kegs, 2 pills, a temp controller and freezer. I can ferment 2 kegs at a time and didn't break the bank.
Draw backs I have to lift into freezer and no good way to harvest yeast
How long have you been fermenting in those Kegs? Is it going well? I've heard a lot of people recommend it but no one that I knew so far that was actually doing it regularly. As for lifting about 54 lbs into a chest freezer...it sucks and I can relate. I got my Komos kegerator to not have to lift kegs into my keezer but now I'm finding both have good and bad things that I love and hate.
@BitterRealityBrewing I've done a dozen or so batches over the last year. My arms fits in them so I can clean them pretty easy but is a tight fit. Also, use floating dip tube, so no issues with trub or dry hopping.
I ussually ferment under pressure, and 6 gallons is enough headroom for 5 gallon batches without too much issue
Mane put some waterproofing spray on your straps
Never thought of testing that. Have you tried it? I'm wondering how well that would work.
Hi, great video. Coudl tell me more about the lid of the allrounder? I see the 2 pressure tabs. But also a Entrance for the temp twister and probe. Do not see those lids anywhere.
Just check the video proper... haha
I'm assuming you found the correct lid? They are pretty cheap and usually around $10 each.
Noice!!!
Thank you and hope all is going amazing! Appreciate your cooler temps as it is very hot here as we are all recording too many back to back days at over 100 F (37.8 C)
What are the blue clips that you mentioned at 13:14? I looked on Kegland's site and do not see any reference to them.
These crazy things. If you only need a few MoreBeer! is the way to go, but if you need a lot of them, you can get them a bit cheaper in bulk on Amazon. www.morebeer.com/search?search=duotight+clips&a_aid=bitterreality&a_cid=11111111 They help keep the Duotight in the locked position to avoid things coming loose.
I have a Fermzilla Conical with the Hop Bong, matching lid, etc. I'm looking hard at the 60L All Rounder, and would definitely want to use it with glycol (makes sense if I have the chiller, right?). But I'm having trouble deciding if I'd want to use the matching lid for the Hop Bong, or use the standard lid instead. The Hop Bong lid gets pretty crowded with all the connections in there, but it's an awfully convenient way to dry hop...
I fully agree and love the All Rounder. I've been so close at buying a FermZilla Conical so many times but with the extra point of failure, I'm always a little concerned. (I'm an IT guy, so points of failure are always a concern.) Plus the size doesn't help matter before I had the glycol system.
Hi Mike, in the video for help with pressure you talked about some blue things that connect to the coil. What are they and where can I purchase them. Thanks Mike

what are these "blue clips" you're referring to? Can you send me a link?
amzn.to/4cXjCyx - 5/16" = 8 mm and if you have larger or smaller ones there are others, but most people use the 8 MM from what I've seen.
@@BitterRealityBrewing thanks buddy.
What glycol chiller do you use please ?
Blichmann for three major reasons. Flexibility to expand, nothing built-in that requires modification for heat or replacement, and extremely energy efficient as my electric bill is high enough. I've only had it fermenting up to 5 fermenters at once so far, but it did an amazing job and even helped cold crash 2 to lager temps while 3 others were fermenting without a significant impact on the actual glycol temps. (The 27 F glycol jumped to 29 F during the temp crashing from 80F to 55F on two fermenters simultaneously.)
Thank you
have you considered using the RAPT Pill? I Find it excellent to use with my Fermzilla, much better than the tilt ones.
Actually I have one and (shhhh) I also have a RAPT Fermentation Chamber that I haven't announced on the channel. I'm way overdue for using and announcing both!
Fermentation chamber is the way to go, especially in humid climates. They’re way cheaper to run as they’re better insulated. I just use a larder fridge I got for free from Gumtree with an InkbirdSmart to control the temperature.
