I have told others this same thing when sharing his channel - through our tornadoes here in Texas he was my favorite the local weatherman were frantic and unprepared for what we experienced/ he was so calming and relayed very critical information

Wow!what a storm.I watched a story that took place in Grenada,those poor people got it bad,and they all were so friendly, they all had nothing but smiles on their faces.ive never seen people who had been decimated with such a good attitude in my life.praying for them and anyone else who is in this path.

Well another good one is Mr Weatherman.
It's crazy over here and the most northern part of West Virginia. I lived part of my life in Mississippi, and these people are so unaware of here of the weather. About a week ago or a little more now when we had thunderstorm threats rolling through here, nobody was the wiser but I was sitting outside and watched funnel clouds spinning over my head as they went through. The next day they called for a tornado threat LOL and it was a sunny clear day

So far since I've been up here most of the things you get up here have no comparison. You all get some bad snow storms and whatnot but you've never seen an F5 roll through and I pray you never do
Texas really wont know untill at least 2-3 days befor landfall...and even then the path could change drastically. I saw it first hand with Harvey

Agreed we lived In Dickinson during Harvey. We walked out with water at our chests. Way too early to tell with this one. Living in a new
House that stayed dry.
I seem to remember the last few day before Harvey hit going from “a tropical storm, no big deal” to the Bayside mayor telling Bayside residents to write their social security number on their arm in permanent marker if they were going to try and ride out the storm. Was my first hurricane. My husband grew up around Corpus Christi so he’d been through a few.
But this one is geoengineered
Hurricane Beryl was an incredible monster to begin the 2024 hurricane season and it definitely isn’t over yet.

Jasper Indiana has serious flash flooding. Cars underwater, people trapped in their apartments, streets flooded and closed.

Ugh, we do NOT need anymore rain here in Minnesota. I enjoy the cooler temps, but we are still underwater from the last several weeks of heavy rain and general consistent rain since April.

As a fellow human, it's nice to see the gesture of kindness. I just unsubbed from this channel because Ryan tends to gloss over the impact to the surrounding countries and only focuses on US, and Canada at times. It's very disappointing but can't support someone that just disregards like that.

Like in Albuquerque, my neighborhood had heavy rains and flooded my exit road in 2 places. It was drained off this morning for my mail/grocery trip.

We've gotten slammed here in the Los Lunas area the last 4 or 5 days. We really needed the rain though, and we still need a lot more of it. I hope we have an above average winter too, because the last 2 years have been very underwhelming.
I saw somewhere, now is when the figs will be starting to come in. I don't have a fig tree... yet!

I am in southwest Ohio, like a stones throw from Indiana. On the radar, the storms looked vicious & the sky matched!!! Thankfully, where I am, it was a nice cool down with a good rain that was perfect to play in!!

Happy 4th everyone. Sheesh. I think when I retire in a few years, I’m heading back West. The weather here in NE Texas is a nightmare. We have two seasons, “miserable and more miserable”. It rains in the fall, winter, and spring with tornado outbreaks during any of these times. Then boom, it doesn’t rain from July until October. Oh ya, we may have an occasional shower during this time, but it adds a ton of humidity to an already unbearable heat. My advise for anyone contemplating moving here… don’t. It’s absolutely miserable.
My son lives in Dallas and the heat is ridiculous. He grew up in northern IL but he married a sweet Texas girl and her whole family is there.
