Optometry student here.. be careful gluing stuff underneath your lashes because that's where your oil glands are for your tears. Unless you are seriously experienced or confident, I would advise not doing this in order to avoid infections or clogged oil glands

Lash glue is only dangerous if you get it IN your eye, and as long as you're not suffering tremors, you should have no problem placing them. It's actually more dangerous to line your waterline.
Plus you risk ripping your lashes more when putting it directly on your lashes vs just laying it on top. I’d try it but it definitely wouldn’t be often.
Contact lens wearer here! I’ve been doing this for maybe 6 months now and it works great! It takes a bit of practice so if you’re trying this hack for the first time try cutting up your falseys into smaller sections or try it with an accent lash, it is much easier to apply this way and won’t irritate your eyes. I also have hooded, almond shaped eyes so this works great for me. I use a latex-free glue and i find much more comfortable than any other method.

I tried this trick once, I do not recommend. The lashes fell from the lash line into my eyes and felt very scratchy as I was trying to stay calm to get them out.
You risk more damage by lining your waterline than you do by applying your lashes this way. Unless you have tremors or something, you can easily place them where they don't touch ANYTHING except your lashes, and the glue will not rip your lashes out. If you are remotely worried about pulling out your lashes, hold a warm, damp washcloth on your eye for 20-30 seconds first to loosen the bond of the glue.

I use translucent powder on my lashes before applying mascara and it works it makes them less clumpy , nicely lifted and curled too that lasts all day long

OMG! Best trick ever!! I have a lot of problems with eyelashes because I like wear it without eyeliner and they don’t look natural because the line is very visible and for me that’s not nice. When I tried this way, the first time was a little bit difficult, because false eyelashes form is made for be above the lashes not under, but with some pacience and a couple of tries they fit very well and aren’t so much unconfortable, so it’s perfect 😍

Brilliant idea however the glue could be toxic to the eyes overtime. The glue may not be opthomologist tested. They look great but this might be dangerous. I could be wrong.
I've tried this before and I have to say if you suffer from allergies and or hay fever the glue will irritate the crap out of your eyes! I look like I just hit a bong after doing this my eyes were so damn red and irritated and watering! Yes it looks natural, but glue that close to my eyeball! NO WAY!
I’ve been doing it like this for years with great success. My biggest tip is using individual lashes. Make sure it is adhering to ur lashes and not so deep that it is sticking onto ur waterline. Only try this if u r already experienced with doing lashes the regular way!! Good luck everyone :)
You can also wiggle the wand at the root of your lashes for a couple of seconds and coat the rest of your lashes. It make your lashes super fluffy 😍 and I also do this try with individual lashes and put them under my real lashes and only on the outer corner for a wispy natural look! ☺️
Let the glue get tacky before putting it on. Also blink just before putting it on. This takes practice and is not as easy as it looks, I have been doing it for a year. I’ll never go back to over the lash tho.

I've been doing under lash method since the early 2000s. A Mac stylest suggestion. It was hard almost impossible for me too. So, I cut the lash in three parts, start gluing from the outside in and haven't had any issues with glue in my eyes. I never fluffed the lashes first though or any of her other steps. I may try a few.
I use the under the lashes technique everyday. They look more natural, and last way longer. I can sleep in them and they be intact, however I don’t recommend sleeping in them because my eyes will kind of burn the next morning. But when I do I just remove them and wash my eyes out and the burning goes away after 15 minutes. I don’t lose lashes, maybe one every other day, the glue isn’t that strong.
I have been using this method for months not and I get people asking if they are my own lashes all the time. I have always had the hardest time getting lashes on using the on top method, I even tried cutting the lash strips in smaller Peres to apply them, then I tried the under lash method, only I use the single lashes most times and if I use the strip, I cut them in small sections. I apply to the skin right under the lower lash, but very close to the lashes, it has not pulled my natural lashes out and my lashes stay in for days. I only replace the lashes completely , once a week, since they are not a whole strip, if a few fall off of get messed up from sleeping, I just replace the few that need fixing.. I use hypoallergenic lash glue and you only need a pin head amount, wait a few seconds for it to get sticky, so it doesn't get in your eye. Hope this info helps 😉

cyhenna i use this hack all the time. Once i got the glue on my contact..my contact in my eye looked white and vision became hazy. Threw out the contact but glad i got it on my contact and not my eyeball. Still use the hack but much more careful now

I'm 65 years old and when I was 19 my cousin showed me how to apply lashes underneath your natural lashes. We loved doing it that way!

So, I cut the lash in three parts, start gluing from the outside in and haven't had any issues with glue in my eyes. I never fluffed the lashes first though or any of her other steps. I may try a few.

I use the under the lashes technique everyday. They look more natural, and last way longer. I can sleep in them and they be intact, however I don’t recommend sleeping in them because my eyes will kind of burn the next morning. But when I do I just remove them and wash my eyes out and the burning goes away after 15 minutes. I don’t lose lashes, maybe one every other day, the glue isn’t that strong.

Casually drying your eyeball
I have been using this method for months not and I get people asking if they are my own lashes all the time. I have always had the hardest time getting lashes on using the on top method, I even tried cutting the lash strips in smaller Peres to apply them, then I tried the under lash method, only I use the single lashes most times and if I use the strip, I cut them in small sections. I apply to the skin right under the lower lash, but very close to the lashes, it has not pulled my natural lashes out and my lashes stay in for days. I only replace the lashes completely , once a week, since they are not a whole strip, if a few fall off of get messed up from sleeping, I just replace the few that need fixing.. I use hypoallergenic lash glue and you only need a pin head amount, wait a few seconds for it to get sticky, so it doesn't get in your eye. Hope this info helps 😉

Great hack, except will not work for me as I have no eyelashes so can't glue the false lashes to my nonexistent lashes.

cyhenna i use this hack all the time. Once i got the glue on my contact..my contact in my eye looked white and vision became hazy. Threw out the contact but glad i got it on my contact and not my eyeball. Still use the hack but much more careful now
