You're such a great teacher! I understood everything that you did. Your directions were so clear and at the right pace. I love you for this even more. I'm sooooo grateful to you. Thank you.
Love this tutorial! Everything else I've seen on geodes uses ice dying techniques and I'm so relieved I found something that's not that haha...great video
Great tutorial! I just have randomly stumbled upon the idea of tie dyeing like 5 mins ago, from some yt shorts 😆 and now I find myself here, with such a well explained and made easy to follow tutorial already 😃 Also, with a cool outcome of it! Thanks, I like creative DIY things like that, so maybe I will try that out in sometime 😁 Wish you even more cool ideas like this and greater audience!
Rad tutorial!! I tried to do a geode design with rubber bands today and it 100% is just bulls eyes sooo definitely needthe tips. Also I appreciate your colored finger tips ahaha
You could just crumple the rest or plain dye it. My granddaughter tried one where she had a dry shirt and dripped the dye on in spots flat then slowly sprayed it with water to absorb across the shirt. It turned out quite nice too.

I really like your tutorial! You made it so clear and easy-to-understand. The shirt turned out gorgeous! Thank you for this💚
Youre a legend for releasing this, i thought it would be the proprietary type pattern

Looks awesome. Thank you for sharing your techniques.❤
well done .. this well help me teach a friend.. now i dont have to answer 20 questions
I let my sinew sit in the sun a couple of hours before i tie, it loosens the wax up and makes it easier to pull it tight.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video! I really appreciate it

I can’t wait to try this
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Way to go Lana!
Do you think I’d get a similar effect if I just use rubber bands or would that be to thin
Just found your channel and I love it
Suuuuuper dopeeee 😀
Great tutorial. I love how every shirt is individual, no two alike. Is the sinew waxed to keep it from unraveling?
That, and it keeps it from fraying, and I think it helps keep the dye from soaking through the string to get that white line.

Love this!! Can you do a tutorial for the dragon fly in the thumbnail of your compilation??? I ❤ that one SO much!! 🐲🪰
I like liquid dye geodes too.
Wow, beautiful.
Thank you! 😊
This is amazing. I've never done this, but I think it would look great on bedsheets. Would that be too big?
Precioso ❤ lo voy a hacer
Hey, I'm curious.... Why not grab both layers? Why only tie on one layer? Thanks 😊
Thank you. I so badly want to make a geode-dyed dress🙏🏻🩷
Very nice! Do you thicken your liquid dye so it doesn’t run too far? Thank you.
Andie
Thanks! No i don’t thicken!
What thickness of sinew do you use and where do you get it from?
I just get it off amazon!
❤ it!!!!
I’ve been trying to make a Micky Mouse geode design. I’ve seen it on facebook make by people. I haven’t been successful. Any ideas?
what if you want to make just one or two geodes... what do you do with the rest of the shirt
You could just crumple the rest or plain dye it.

Hi is there any alternatives to sinew if there is I would love 2 know!
You could try rubber bands but you probably wont be able to get them tight enough to create the white lines
thank you! I did use rubber bands but it didn’t work as well but it’s so pretty!
Can you use rubber bands instead?
Rubber bands dont get tight enough to get those nice white lines! Plus the waxy threads also helps keep line whites:)

Single layer not both, that's going to make it alot easier, thanks
