I was shocked when Louisa said, one flew over the cuckoo’s nest! Because no one said anything. So I looked it up, and it came out in November 1975 that’s when it first aired. That is one of my fun movies I love it.
I couldn’t think of anything for the Evel Knievel question. And I sold cars for years! The only thing I could think of was a flatbed truck with a bed on it.
I went to law school with Louisa in '94-'96, she's very bright. We always studied together and got top grades. The disbarr-ment (sp) was over some stupid billing crap, nothing major, but the ABA will find fault with anything and everything. I think she was just too old to fight them anymore. She's a sweetheart. Hello Louisa! 🤗
Wow...I didn't know that was Brett's real name. I've been watching this show since the 70s and never knew that. She just doesn't look like an Audrey. Lol
When the contestant breaks the microphone, which really just came apart. It’s so funny how he’s trying to put it back together so quick! And he’s actually looking to see if anybody seen him! LOL!!!
I've seen a few episodes with that Rick guy who claps like he's hunting mosquitos. It was already hilarious, but then he busted his microphone with perhaps the most awkward clap I've every seen. So funny.
lol, 8:41 contestant rick destroys his mic and has to hold it up. i love how these video's have all the outtakes. not familiar with louisa moritz but she's really cute, and she has a fascinating story, she lied about her age after leaving cuba at 23, she's 39 here but told everyone she was 29. sad to see she just passed away in january. (2019)
That was sooo damn funny !!!! It was like a movie scene, the way he was trying to fix it and then ended up just holding it in position. Would have loved to see what happened with that. And yes, RIP Lousia, was a very strikingly beautiful woman. Take Care
Patrick Switzer Oh Patrick. Thanks for the sad update. I had no idea. I always loved Louisa. One of my favorites from the show. So endearingly funny. I loved her timing and her explanations that she gave before she revealed her answers. And while she played dumb, she was actually quite smart. Not sure re if a lot of people know this, but she had a law degree. Didn't know that for the longest time. So she was quite intelligent. So glad she finally got to have her voice heard during the Cosby investigation, trial, and sentencing. 😢😢.
H/H match update: ... Our returning champion wins his second game. And Good Gravy, Marie! Brett gave the only answer that actually appeared on the audience match board (and in the $500 slot at that), but the contestant ignored her "Tongue in Cheek" and went with his own idea instead (tongue depressor which sounded possible). CNR's response wasn't great (tongue sandwich), and Richard's (tongue lashing) sounded like a possible $100 winner, but neither of those answers showed up. (In fairness, Louisa predicted one of the answers on the board, but since she hadn't been called on, she could only reveal it after the contestant had made his choice.) The poor guy struck out, and so no H/H match today, which is kind of sad, as he failed to match with Richard yesterday. I hate to see a champion win two games and only have $700 to show for it. Quick recap: Richard has played 21 of the past 26 H/H matches, and matched 9 of them. Brett has played 3 of the past 26, matching 1. Of the two remaining attempts, Fannie matched one and Betty missed one. Here's the current leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Fannie - 52.6% (10 wins in 19 attempts). Betty - 46.9% (15 wins in 32 attempts). Charles - 45.2% (19 wins in 42 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 39.1% (122 wins in 312 attempts). Brett - 38.8% (19 wins in 49 attempts). Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 567, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
Louisa acts all silly and sometimes ditzy, but I feel like she is completely genuine. I don’t know why, but I feel like if I had known her, I would just have wanted to protect her and take care of her. lol. It’s weird I don’t know why I feel like that. Just seems like she could have easily been bossed around or abused. Rip Louisa.
She had an interesting life and was smarter than she came across. She ended up graduating from law school and passed the bar in 2004. She also ended up investing in real estate including a hotel in Beverly Hills. In 2014 she became one of the first women to accuse Bill Cosby. She said he assaulted her in the green room of the tonight show in 1971.
Just wondering, for the first question about Elvis jumping 100 cars, would "Bumper Car" be a good response? Opinions, please! Thank you! I must say, though, that Richard's answer, "Hearse," was my favourite of all seven responses.
I wonder what the writers were after there? I thought the last car would be an ambulance. But that doesn't work either, because if he crashed on top of it... I agree with Brett, I don't think there is a good answer to that question.
No, from what I have been told Richard lost his father in 1975, his children's nanny that had been with them since birth died the year before and the mother of his children almost died in late 1974. So he might just been going thou a grief period. Althou he was also trying to get hired as host for Family Feud this year so maybe he was wondering if that would come to be. Or maybe he was just doing what Larry Hagman did, some days he woke up and said he was just going to listen all day and didn't say a word the entire day..
You weren't imagining it - the camera has caught Richard smoking numerous times over the past 560-ish episodes. Dozens, I would say. Sometimes it cuts to him just as he's exhaling a huge cloud of smoke without the cigarette itself being seen, but more often we see him taking a puff or putting the cig down.

Why didn’t Gene ever yell at Brett & tell her to Shut Up like he did to Louisa. Brett NEVER shuts that mouth of hers. Also did you see the look 👀 on Fannies face when blabbermouth Brett yelled out her real name? Fannie didn’t look too happy. Brett always has to be the center of attention, camera always on her.

So funny.

She was adorable!
I would have taken her out on dates back then.
She was a stunner ❤
Never fails to make me smile. Thanks
I love this show all the celebrities party hard and have a great time! THANK YOU MATCH GAME PRODUCTIONS!
I couldn’t think of anything for the Evel Knievel question. And I sold cars for years! The only thing I could think of was a flatbed truck with a bed on it.
Episode 566 is being re edited in UA-cam editor. It will be ready shortly to view!
I know this is late, you do a wonderful job of editing these episodes.

On this date in 1994, A Troll in Central Park movie with Charles Nelson Reilly as Llort (voice) aired.
Brett calls Fannie by her real name Patsy (Patricia) Neal. I wonder if Fannie ever called her Audrey Johnston on air. I doubt it.
leafstigers What a beautiful name, Audrey! I guess she does look more like a Brett.
I think she did maybe, I can't remember where thou if she did..

When the contestant breaks the microphone, which really just came apart. It’s so funny how he’s trying to put it back together so quick! And he’s actually looking to see if anybody seen him! LOL!!!
Among other things, Louisa appeared in the 1982 classic film "The Last American Virgin".

I love how they don't edited that stuff, makes the show more fun to see what things go wrong as well as right.. ;0)
I’m getting such a kick out of him holding that microphone and Trying to clap with that one hand! LOL!!
The mic break was so anti-climactic, I was expecting someone to notice. lol. They kept cutting to him but no one said anything.
That dude is in several episodes and his clapping style is quite aggressive. I'm surprised more stuff didn't break.
