When I was a short order cook back in the day we always flipped them with a flick of the wrist. We did overeasy/medium/hard eggs the same way. It was impressive lol. I just use a spatula these days because I use my mom's old (and HEAVY) cast iron skillet. It's seasoned like Teflon and is one of my most prized possessions 😊

My omelettes are the best! I add a splash of cream to the eggs, a dash of garlic powder, salt and green onions. Then you add the desired garnish/fillings. For cheese I do it with cheddar and some finely grated feta for an extra oumph! So delicious!

Never had much luck flipping an omelet but yours look beautiful. I use ghee instead of butter. I think it doesn’t brown as fast as butter so my omelet stays nice and yellow. Also I do not flip. I like green pepper, onion, cut up andouille sausage, and cheddar cheese!

This way how to make a omelet worked so well for me. I used to used canola oil when making eggs and it wouldnt give the same effect as using plain stick butter. It held the shape well without breaking apart. And I used low heat and turned the heat off once I flipped it. I added my shredded cheese and filled it with chopped preheated frozen spinach and chopped preheated bell peppers and onions. It looked beautiful! I added on top fresh chopped tomatoes and sliced avocado with a pinch of black pepper! Yummy! 😊😋🥰🍳🥑🧀🍅

I like ham or bacon with onions, bell peppers, jalapenos and pepper jack and American cheese. So good. Salsa on top.

That sounds delicious! Never thought of Andouille sausage in an omelette but I sure will give it a try!
Andouille is the best! Add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper! Yum. I also add andouille and cayenne pepper to fettuccine alfredo, so good.
