I loved James Shaw's response about being heroic, "I did it 100% to save myself." . The guy is still a hero, but he pointed out that it came from a self defence perspective. Well done James. You are a hero, whatever the motivation.

Kill some more innocent people or be killed ??? I'm not condoning what he did but obviously he is severely mentally effed up there's to many people in this world that are juss like him and honestly I feel sorry for them they didn't ask to be born that way right ??? You know how people say that God gives us free will to choose what we do well what about the mentally deranged men and women??? My cousin is slowly dying. Sometimes he's in so much pain that he can't sleep. He'll go days without sleep until he's psychotic. All of his guns have been locked away. We told him where they were, that they are still his but have been removed for safekeeping. We explained to him why they were removed. When he's not psychotic, he understands why and agrees with us. When he's not himself, he thinks we've stolen them to kill him. But he's not getting them back. He'll never get them back. It's sad because it's a beautiful and expensive collection. Paranoia is an awful terrible experience. It’s so real and personal taking things that are worldwide, like Taylor Swift, and pulling the idea of her into his delusions. The only way I can get out of it is by cutting myself of from it. Like if it was Taylor swift stalking, I’d stay off UA-cam, delete her from all playlists, turn off surveillance around my house, never talk about her, change what I’m doing if I think of her, call someone, sit on my deck. Those things only feed the delusion. But, one has to realize that even though it seems so incredibly real, it’s not. Whatever the case, mental illness isn’t a valid excuse for mass murder and those need to pay the consequences. I’m sick of people linking murder to mental problems. Unless someone is like that guy who thought he was a wolf and he had to kill demons by eating them alive, the they need prison. That guy didn’t even respond to being shot. He just growled and kept going. Now THAT is true mental illness to the point he didn’t know the reality of what he was doing. ❤️🤟🏻 Anyone can get mental health help if they really want it. I’ve lived in four different towns since I was diagnosed and have always gotten new psychiatrists and therapists. Also, the ER always has psychiatrists on call. If someone goes and mentions killing people, they’ll be admitted to the mental hospital right away. People have to help themselves in the moments of lucidity. It’s pretty rare that someone wouldn’t know deep inside they’re crazy. Even now I think past hallucinations happened but logically, I do know it was just me reacting in an unrelated way. But, I never think or talk about them because nothing good will come from it. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 23 years ago so it’s not my first rodeo. 😉
