- How did Kariv help carry the LA Valiant to an upset victory in their match versus the Vancouver Titans?
When the LA Valiant went up against the Vancouver Titans in Stage 3 of the Overwatch League, many had predicted the matchup to be a one-sided affair as the former had been on a depressing series of defeats while the latter was looking stronger than ever with a near immaculate record this season.
In today's video, we take a look at the upset that was the LA Valiant versus the Vancouver Titans matchup and how this team of underdogs managed to subvert expectations and slay the Titans.

@@leroiemeu8197 It actually is not true, on 0.25 clearly you can see that sleep was CASTED before hack connected. And since sleep dart is kinda a transformation type ability i couldn't have been canceled already

Kariv is insane, he takes Ana gameplay to a whole new level.
That sleep dart on Haksal's Pharah was really something else. He hit some pretty nutty sleep darts in this and the intelligence and timing of some of his bio nades was crazy intuitive.

Who noticed, that the teams in the first scene where swapped in the corners? Valiant team name was right but the members on the right were Titans
One nitpick is that stat wise the greatest upset in overwatch league history was Atlanta over NYXL the first time.
Absolutely agree. The Valiant were one of the best teams for a lot of last season. If anything, they were extremely underperforming for most of this season
By FAR the biggest upset was Huston against Shock. 3rd worst team beat the no. 1 team, and it was right after shocks golden stage and Huston's 0-7 stage

Great video! However, there was one minor mistake. Ana's nano boost heals for 250. It was 300 but it got nerfed to 250 a while back. Still a great analysis tho, keep it up!

This is imo, the biggest Ana carry play in the OWL so far, which I wish I couldve seen by my favourite anas such as jjonak and Jehong. Jjonak being a top tier ana is really consistant, landing sleeps and nades when he has to, but there hasnt been quite a carry preformance like this so far.
Now if akshon esport make a memewatch version of this, that will be great.

Good video. Ana was already a staple at that point tho, it wasn't anything new at this point in Stage 3.
it's ironic how nades should be used offensively and nano to be used defensively because in the early stages of overwatch we were learned to use nano to push for attack (ie:giving rein to start dealing more damage, nanoblade) and nade to sustain the frontline and use it to add healing to urself
idk if that sleep on 8:18 was calculated or wishful, since sombra wasnt even gonna move to that location but by the time dart traveled, sombra just walk to it. i had one game where i just shoot my dart hoping it would land, it was just a gut feeling that enemy would move there and every single time when that gut feeling comes and i shoot the dart, the enemy just walk to it. i was scared of myself, either i somehow became better or i used most of my luck

Kariv has always been an amazing support, from his Mercy play in season 1, to Zenyatta and Ana work. But on this game he played out of his damn mind. What an impressive
