Hey guys in case there is any confusion, we just wanted to make two quick corrections. At 5:15 we say "Shock DVa ult" when we actually mean Fury's and accidentally mix up the names of Sado and Smurf here at 5:28

That Ashe play was so dense with information, I thought it would unfold in like 40 seconds, not so quickly.
3:22 The real story here is Erster missing his wall, if that goes where it's supposed to the Shock get pinned in the choke with the blizzard and either freeze and die or scatter and die. Very unfortunate moment there which wastes two ults.

I remember seeing that Ashe play live. We saw two dive heroes run into that room with him, it cut back to the point, and then back to the Ashe with two dead corpses in the room and ans reloading.

I love how not only are these micro-plays crazy good, but most of the time the casters actually catch them, which has got to be a ridiculously hard job to do in the heat of a match.

That Ans play just shows how broken Ashe is. She SHOULD NOT be able to survive a 2v1 dive. Snipers should be weak to dive, and Ashe just isn't. A testament to bad game design.
She not a sniper tho. And the Ashe got out of that situation based on skill that’s it.

@@Scripzure Ashe can play a sniper role but her kit can allow a different playstyle than windowmakers. She is not one shot for a lot of characters, which makes her less effective as a sniper. As for skill, the shot on tracer was due to skill with 9 hp remaining. He also used the health back to stay alive and turned his head to avoid headshots. If that is not skill and game knowledge idk what is. And Ashe is not broken, Ans just used his kit and abilities correctly.
I really hope Haksal's "break" is only for the off season. I loved seeing his play all year, and it'd be so sad if he officially retires

My God that ashe play how cool headed
Erster beefed the wall to to keep the shock held for the blizzard/deadeye combo which allowed shock to easily disengage. You can see at 3:20, he places it WAY too far back and is trying to put it in the archway. He breaks it early shortly after, knowing he messed up, to put it on cooldown faster.
Moral of the story: ANS was the best player ever picked up by the shock
ehhh Ans is overrated and overhyped. He is definitely an insane player and worthy of being SF's starting hitscan player but there are many players in APAC who are as equally mechanically skilled as him (LIP, Happy) or better than him (Diem)

Debatable, the Shock have picked up several star players in the DPS role like Striker and Rascal, but Ans is someone who stands out in particular lately due to more playtime.
