    Good stuff. My Moose boots finally died, but these look like a viable option. 👍🏻

    Garnier were the only boots which fit my wide feet, snd provided the protection I want. Pricey, but you just can’t beat Italian quality (in regard to boots and shoes).

      Gaerne makes some excellent boots! I have experienced that Italian quality with a pair of TCX Race boots, but truth be told, those were too much boots for me ha!

    Hey Bruv. Finally the boots are with me! After a long journey... And they are extremely comfortable. Almost like a custom made fit. Love them! Thanks a lot to you, your video and your advice. Would be tested very soon. Am off to a solo 8000 kms ride to the North East of India (Himalayas!) stating on 7 October. Cheers 🥂. God bless you. Ride safe

    Most if not all "ADV" boots have very little off-road style protection and are just leather style boots for street pavement boots like these.
    Having said that I will look into these more along with the Alpinestars Coroval for 3 times the price. Ouch.

      Yeah, that's the main argument with (most) ADV boots. A lot of them are not equipped to serve as MX boots (Alpinestars Tech 10). Though something like a "Tech 10" is way too hardcore for the kind of riding I do LOL. The Corozal was on my short-list, but I had a hard time biting the bullet on price (before taxes and fees ugh) haha

    Thanks a lot for sharing your review. Can you please share your feedback on the sizing? Currently I wear Eur Size 44 Forma Adv Touring boots. Should I go for the same size? Please let me know.

      Appreciate it brother! I wear a size 9 (wide) , which I believe is Eu 43...and this boot fit true to size. Thanks for bringing this detail up.

      @@CheontheRoad Nice! I think they're a solid pair of boots. What part of India are you based in? Will this be for everyday riding or are you prepping for a longer "Leh Ladakh" type ride? :)

      @@Auto-MinuteI am based in the Western Part of India, in the state of Gujarat. Been riding long distance since 2008 and dos Ladakh for the first time in 2008 itself. My Forma Adv Touring boots have lost the waterproofing and water seeps in. That's why looking to upgrade to these boots. These would be used primarily for my long 15-30 days rides. My next such ride is planned to the Eastern Part of India in October. 27 days and 8000 kms long, covering 8 states of India.

    I see no ankle protection on those, so would never use them off road, singletrack, or asphalt.

    • @Auto-Minute
      @Auto-Minute  3 місяці тому

      It does have dual density molded ankle protection like most riding shoes/boots out there, butttttt if we're talking aluminum piece or ankle brace level of protection, then it can't compete with that. Ultimately, if someone's willing to spend the big bucks on added levels of safety, more power to them!

    Why does every pair of boots these days have a gear lever protection pad on top of the right hand boot? Name a right hand gear change lever bike? Just one? Put a little thought n intelligence into design.

    • @Auto-Minute
      @Auto-Minute  3 місяці тому

      Haha that's a fair point. It might have to do with some psychology around customers preferring visually symmetrical things, who knows. On a funnier note, the first bike I ever learned to ride on was a 1966 Royal Enfield Bullet with right-hand gear shifter 😂
