Thanks for the review! Are there areas of protection that the book lacks/sacrifices for the breathability and comfort?

I'm so annoyed with manufacturers that put the hook part of velcro facing out where it will tear up your jeans if you don't cover it entirely with the flap (big calves). You put the hooks facing in so they don't tear up other clothes.

FWIW; Most manufacturers face it this way to avoid the harsh hooks hitting the skin. Far more riders prefer having the soft velcro facing the skin so it doesn't irritate them while they ride. Same thing goes for velcro at the wrists of jackets, collar of jackets, and even armor pockets inside your gear. There were much more angry customers complaining about the velcro causing rashes than those that cared about the exterior fabric.

0:47 Who tf told you it stays warm in Vegas most of the year? We have a scorching summer, a week of spring, a week of fall, and a miserably cold winter that doesn't give us snow because of the elevation only

Reality check. Three months are uncomfortably cool, ranging from the mid-30s to the mid 50s. And it snows in the mountains, and once in a while in the basin. Three months are uncomfortably hot, ranging from high 90s to 110, with spikes into the high teens. The other six months are nearly perfect for riding. Elevation has little to do with it. It's a GD desert! It's dry!
