- My doe had her babies late last week (on my birthday actually). She is a great mother and did everything from building the nest to covering them with fur all on her own. The only problem is that it was a pretty small litter.

Next time you breed her, put her in with the buck two times with an 8 to 12 hour break between sessions. The first time will induce ovulation, and the second time will fertilize any eggs that didn't get fertilized the first time.
I’ve got a “false pregnancy” going on with one of my does. Two females in the cage and she’s pulling fur from the other doe as well. Decided to give her a nest box and some straw….leave some fur, girl!

My older doe had 5 from the first litter this season and then 12 on the second litter. So maybe the next litter will be bigger.
I’ve noticed that with my females on the first litter. After that, they got bigger

Idk my normal was 4-6 rabbits but I rarely lost any , if I lost any it was due to smth attacking the cage and scaring them
We have had 2 litters of kits be dead when we found them- they were perfectly developed- one of the does didn’t pull fur so strange- we have never had this happen before - 😢

If you will breed them in the morning and then again about 6 hours later they will have a bigger litter the reason is their egg are coming down
