This time, I ended up using the bottom part of a covered litter box. Just cut the front with a high lip, drilled holes and lined with a piece of cardboard the same way as you suggested the metal. I use the tops as a temp hide box for the adults so the bottoms where not getting used. Was easy cleaning and switching out.once they started hopping out, just cleaned and turned over.
I really appreciate the rabbit tree center's presentations. I would like to know what your thoughts are on feeding bottle feeding and abandoned baby a kid especially maybe one that's never been fed by mother?

Hello hello, and thank you for making such great content. We're just in the startup phase of our homestead, and we're defo thinking about starting a rabbit farm. We think it'll make a nice addon to our upcoming ice cream shop. This way, people can have a scoop and watch bunnies hopping around. I looked through your video library, and I could not find any that covered the topic of a large outdoor playpen for animals. So, I was wondering, is there a way to have "free range" rabbits and to successfully farm them. Also, would you happen to have a good European seller you could recommend? We're especially interested in getting our hands on the NZ white that you recommended in another video. We have a small UA-cam channel ourselves. It might be nice to collaborate on a project together if you'd be interested. Meanwhile, I've just subscribed to your channel and will binge your older content to get my hands on as many tips as possible. Have a great day!

Bobby in one of your videos you talked about boxes for winter protection, you said we could also use cardboard boxes. will they eat the boxes, can it hurt them? learning as I go, lots of good information from you, thank you
I simply let the rabbits rest in the fridge whole- for 24 hours - I remove them quarter and package and into the freezer That's it! Simple and Delicious.
We’ll traditionally folks use a gravity fed watering system using an elevated Water tank and letting it feed into Pressure valves that dispense water when Rabbits put their mouth on the valves. Using a 5/16 hose you can split The line as many times as you need to. We use water bowls, which is a little different. Here’s a video that explains more: ua-cam.com/video/raQdqC5-LNc/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared Gravity fed water system****** We have supplies on our storefront. I personnaly test nesting box with mech !, unfortunatly outside with the wind all duvet come out and it is very bad situation for newborn rabbit. I save them but not whitout effort.
Thanks for commenting! We’re launching a new video tomorrow, Shows a Nesting box/Hide box that works well in the winter time and can be used interchangeably. Stay tuned…
? For you do I need a hide box and a besting box both in same cage. So I have mom in smaller cage I build from your video. And I made bigger cage for mom and babies but not sure about boxes
Rabbits like hide boxes. It gives them something to play and chew on. Nesting boxes should only be used when needed. When building choose a light weight wood to avoid weighing down the cage floor. Of course 14G cage floors can withstand more. Here's a video to get you started ua-cam.com/video/C1TiZkxPBzY/v-deo.htmlsi=Y4iLWkSZg5ZXuo-U

How big do you make the wooden/mesh nesting boxes?
BTW, love the ramp and tote idea. I'll try to incorporate that in the future.
Be sure to watch our "how to build a nesting box" video ua-cam.com/video/rZFwdw6Zu2I/v-deo.html
what would work instead of wood shavings, i have a angora par and the shavings would get matted bad in their fur

card board to line the boxes. They will chew it but not eat it.
🙂
after harvest do the need to be rested in a brine or ..... to tenderize the or are they already tender? and if they need what are some choices?

Is the cage big enough for a hide box and a nesting box.
Yes. Hide boxes are approximately the size of a nesting box. Here's a video that shares more information ua-cam.com/video/C1TiZkxPBzY/v-deo.html

Ok its for the grow out cage with babies
So not sure there will be enough room for both boxes. ..
I apologize, didn't mean at the same time
Is there any reason you shouldn’t leave the nesting box in the cage all the time ?
The does can start using it as a litter box or become nest sitters
They'll use it for a litter box
How can I get some of your rabbits?
