  • I am selling my Hoover H Wash 500 machine and will be buying a different one and have decided to go for the Samsung Series 5+ machine as I find that will be better in ways than Hoover with regards to auto dosing. It will be sad to see it go because it’s the best machine for quick washes
    If you’re interested in the machine I have the link below

    Here is the link to the Samsung one I want to get

    I've got one of those Hoover H-Wash 10kg and i'm happy with it. Works fine and i hope that it could work for serveral years. Also have auto-dose in mine. Hope to see the review of your new washer

    I bought one Hoover 2 and half years ago and the problems started like only 6 months later. First the water pump, then the auto-dose tray , then the electronic panel stopped working (had to use the app) and now it connects to the wi-fi and the app but it just doesn’t start the cycle and the touch panel doesn’t work. At some point it stopped during the cycle right before “spin and drain “ cycle and the program had to be changed. A lot of errors started and for me, it’s just a big no. I regret buying it. Hover, candy and haier are all the same

    Wish I'd watched this before buying one. My wife's gripe with this, is that it takes the softener and detergent together. Our old hoover that recently gave up the ghost, used to add softener after a wash, so the clothes came out smelling fresh. Wish there was a way to get the softener added after wash via a custome program.

    I totally agree about caredose and honestly? I'm not a huge fan of the system as i prefer normal dose cause ur more in control. This machine is far better than how they used to be in terms of programming and fussiness

    What do you mean sorry I am still confused. Don't you just put however much softner you want in? I use the outdoor one as well I just put in my machine how much I want to use/need.

    This is useful info. I was going to order one until I saw this. The manual says you can disable the care dose function. Is this a selection you have to make every wash? I've never used an auto dosing machine but our current machine has broken and every machine I've looked at that has the features I want, seems to have auto dosing that I don't think I'll use. :/

      You can disable auto dosing on the machine so you can make it manual but it’s only for detergent if you want softener either you use the auto dose feature or remember when it’s the last rinse put it in yourself

    I've got the exact same washer it's a hoover h wash 500 11kg 1400 spin but the dosage doesn't bother me as I use liquid tablets straight in the drum apart from taking a while to connect to my washer to wifi and changing the settings on my router to 5ghz to 2.4ghz it's absolutely fine

      With care dose/auto dose, and t depends on the person who is using it and what type of detergent. I’ve used pods but not keen on them myself hence why I prefer liquid or gel and powder (not that you can auto dose powder). It is a pain setting up WiFi but once you get it going it’s all good. I would recommend this machine but only the standard draw model rather than care dose

      Possibly Samsung. The higher end hoovers are your best bet however I believe there is a care guide within the hoover app. I am sending my Samsung series 5+back it's nice but it is not suiting me.

    hi, how is the build quality of the washing machine? are there any downsides?

    • @dcstanda
      @dcstanda  2 роки тому

      The build quality I find is good in areas, the door feels nice and thick but feels hollow inside as oddly as it sounds, with general build quality of machines compared to 20+ years ago is nothing to what its like now. With this machine I would say it would last a good few years hopefully 10 or so years

    I sometimes ask myself why UK doesn't have the new Candy Rapido Pro and Hoover H-Wash 550, I'm considering on the only Rapido Pro washer available at the moment in Portugal (noticed by the profile picture of this channel which is a Candy Rapido) which is in a really good looking grey for the color scheme of the house and appliances in the kitchen, has 9kg capacity, 1600rpm, standard drawer (I notice that standard Hoover H-Wash 500 drawers are really small compared to the Candy Rapido ones) and it works exactly like that Hoover H-Wash 500, for 500€ shouldn't be too bad, there's a similar standard Rapido but it's the exact same price as the Rapido Pro and has less features so overall the Rapido Pro wins though I'm not giving up too much of getting a Hotpoint again as Whirlpool surprised me with the new Hotpoint/Bauknecht GentlePower

    • @dcstanda
      @dcstanda  10 місяців тому

      Auto dose on these machines are not good as in my opinion don’t dose the correct amount as it should detect the load and then dispense. The handy thing about auto dosing is that the machine will do the thinking for you and not over or under dosing detergent yourself and same with the softener

      @@dcstanda I had a Samsung eco bubble for about 5 years. Pleased with the wash, but the drum bearings went and it became very very noisy when spinning, like listening to a jet engine starting up. Bought the same Hoover as the one you are selling as a replacement. Pleased with the results.
