i got this machine arround 6 days ago or 7 and its been washing everyday. i'm impressed of how good it washes in such short times and how silent the machine is in operation, quite a big fan of the wifi hOn feature as i use it a lot and always got my laundry done smelling fresh because of how it always doses the right ammount of softener on caredose (i use lenor) very impressed and satisfied with it. definitely reccommend it!

Bought this model October this year (2021) and biggest mistake ever .This noise that it makes can be heard outside the house and the wash and fabric dispenser unit fails to work so got a washing machine that cannot be used .. tried ringing Hoover but no one answers the phone ..email not answered .. So Im going to have to argue with Argos to take it back
Could you please shine a light on the care dose feature please, the instructions are not comprehensive. I wash coloured items far more than I wash whites, so I’m happy to fill up the auto with detergent for colours, but •How do I do a whites wash with liquid detergent while the dosing drawer contains detergent for colours? You said you put whites powder in the other section, could whites liquid go in there? Or would I need to put it in the drum? And would you then have to deselect the detergent auto dose? •If detergent & softener are deselected, does this mean that the machine will use the whole content in the reservoir? Or not use any from the reservoir at all? 🤷♀️ I’m finding the deselection symbols confusing: •what is the top symbol (a water drip) for? It doesn’t seem to be selectable. Thank you in advance 👍🏼
Hi Guys! If the machine does not take up the softener without the auto dose function being switched on, could this be a fault of the machine? In theory, if the autodose is switched off, then the machine should pick up all the softener, doesn't it?
hi. i got mine yesterday. i tried washing under synthetics and the cotton but on both occasion the water was not enough. i would like my washing to swim in water and not without. yes it did release water but there just wasn't enough. what do i do. do i top it up manually or what should i do. thanks.
There is a way of getting more water in the cycle but won’t exactly swim. You have to use the hOn app and what you can do is use an option called Acquaplus which means more water during the wash part of the cycle, unfortunately there is no option on the machine itself
If I want to use powder for whites in the drawer do I need to turn off care dose? If so how do you do it! Do you just make sure all the lights are off on the care dose icons?
I've got a problem with an internet connection. It was working two days ago but not anymore. I've got hOn app. My phone can't see washing machine WiFi. Can you help mi with this. I phoned service bu they didn't help much.

That is very unusual not to spin, it’s going to sound dumb but make sure that it’s not on the no spin option, also select the drain and spin cycle and set it to the highest speed and go from there. Check your loads as constant unbalanced loads will prevent it from spinning. If you have any further issues go back to your retailer and advise the machine won’t spin. One final thing if you prefer for a Hoover engineer to have a look then contact the call centre, let me know how you get on

That’s I’m unsure of as I always selected a temperature, but I think (don’t quote me on it) it will only heat to 20C but give the performance of 40 and 60C
It’s because of the energy saving that’s why is says A+++ -40% and the wash times are ridiculously long. Best thing to do is literally do the wash overnight , if you have cheaper electric overnight even better as it would cost pennies to run

I dont suppose anyone knows how long the water remains 60c on the allergy cycle? The clothes come out cold when the cycle is done (it rinses in cold water) but I've touched the glass on the machine at varying loints during the cycle and its never been warm. I have severe allergies and have to hot wash bedding at least every 3 days. I usually find relief on the first night of fresh sheets but since ive had rhis machine i feel as though its not washing at 60c for long enough. The other hot cycles are too long.
I wouldn't have a clue to be honest as I never really use it. What I would advise is using the hOn App and using Cotton cycle as I think the 60C would be better
With the eco you can try using the soil level on the machine with the t-shirt symbols and also using the temperature button as that changes the time. Do be aware that the actual temperature of the cycle only reaches 20 as Eco 40-60 is the performance of those temperatures but in an eco cycle (20C)

I'm so confused. On mine the lights next to the flower and the bottle in the middle row won't stop flashing and whenever I put a wash on, no detergent seems to leave thw drawer. If anyone can help me please do 😪😞
Have you made sure that the care dose lights are turned on, make sure you have both lights on if your are going to use both detergent and softener. Go through my video list as I explain in one of my videos how to use the feature
Hi, thanks for your reply, yes I watched your video a while back, both lights are on, I’ve used liquid & pods , but the hoover guy actually told me to put a scoop of powder in machine before clothes are put in & fabric softener in caredose (I’ve got thin stuff like you suggested) but still no smell ?? He suggested using cotton @ 1.36 minutes , changed it to level 3 hard water too & still nothing, I did a wash at the laundrette using my powder & conditioner & it smells flipping lovely !! I’ve had the machine 6months & it’s driving me crazy !!

No, you got to have it on, and it will try and use what’s in there. I would say if you wanted to add a different softener to the one that’s in there but probably get a mixed smell
Used mine for the first time today, my old machine was 1600 spin, so I'd just set it to 40 degrees & press start. 1 button. 2 hour cycle. How to get the same from this machine, I found the Eco Wash temp was adjustable, so moved it to 40 to get the spin, almost 5 hours - how can that be "eco" this is insane & synthetics only has 1400 spin I got this machine for the 1600 spin. So what I do a synthetic wash then a separate spin. Its nuts x
It is weird how it works, and I have used eco before and it’s a very long cycle and that’s because of energy efficiency, I will advise that if you put it on 40 or 60 the temperature never reaches that which I personally think is wrong it should get up to the temp it’s set at. My advice is to select a cycle with a top end spin and I will say using fresh care cycle is the best for quickness for a full load as it does it in 49 mins
That’s the pain now they have taken that programme away and can only do a 40C on a ‘59 min wash now the quickest would be a cotton with the soil level to little. I’ll have a look on the app to see if there is anything around the 1hr time
Can you put gel pods in the drum still ? As we just bought one yesterday getting delivered this week. As it has the active dosing or is it with gel only use ?
You can put anything you want in it pods, liquid, powder as all you will need to do is switch off the auto dosing on the machine. The auto dosing is if you want to use liquid detergent, I would recommend using the softener otherwise you have to put that in manually on the last rinse which would be hassle

Make sure that the the softener light and detergent light is on, that means the care dose has been switched on. Please be aware when you start the machine it will fill briefly with water then start putting detergent in then fill up again

Has your machine ever stuck on 1 minute at the end of a cycle? It sounded like it was still trying to drain. I left it for a good 10 minutes but I had to turn it off and on to fix it. I only had the machine two days ago. 👍

Hi, does anyone have the problem of it not emptying the conditioner tray? I've just got mine today and it isn't using conditioner on any cycle. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate hearing them. Thanks
Just an update to this. Both setting were on to use the auto does. In fact I ended up getting the machine replaced due to AO fitting it incorrectly. It leaked and tripped the electric and broke the washer. Anyway, since the replacement it's been fine. I find though different washes do use different levels of softener. I don't think the cotton cycle uses as much as it should do.
When tapping on the caredose button the middle and the bottom lights will light up then when tapping it again it will select the detergent only, then tapping it a 3rd time will be softener only then 4th time no detergent or softener will dispense

There are 2 ways, 1st turn the dial to the spin and drain cycle then on the far right options tap the button to the bottom as the drum clean cycle. 2nd use the hOn app and got to the maintenance part and select drum clean if you want to use the app
So the Dynamic Next I sold in September 2019 as was unhappy it lost 200 rpm and was only going up to 1400 rather than the 1600 it’s meant to. Sold the Hotpoint to my neighbour and wanted to go back to Hoover as it had WiFi and a proper app to use with and can remote control it
This is the worst washing machine ever please don’t buy!! My one can’t take a colour catcher .. it will slip through to the filter and block your machine … The on button isn’t working now just less than a month I got the machine .. sometimes the whole lights on the board is flashing for no reason!!

Tap the caredose button which is the flower and bottle symbol as that switches between softener and detergent then off

Just the screws need to be taken out and with the child lock you hold the spin and temperature button then child lock should scroll on the display

Yes, there is a R symbol at the top and that changes from 14 to 30 and then to 44

Just put me new machine on it's first wash. I chose eco for towels. It's going to take more than 4 hours. How to change the time on it?

All machines have a Drain and Spin programme, just make sure you set it to the top spin if you do
On the app it says allergy care 1-hour 19 mins.... But when the program starts it's 1-hour 2 mins... Does yours do that? 👍
It adjusts by weight so it may be quicker... thats normal.

My softener button flashes, does this mean my conditioner will go I to wash......so far its hasn't gone in
If any of the lights flash, that means that the tanks are getting low and you need to top up the tank

Not for me it hasn’t, only thing that happens is if I put the anti crease on if I’m not home so the clothes tumble every so often

Not really, it has slight wiggle on mine but nothing major. Is yours very wiggly?

This is going to sound stupid but is the softener light on, on the control panel that’s how you know the softener will go into the drum

Just an update to this. Both setting were on to use the auto does. In fact I ended up getting the machine replaced due to AO fitting it incorrectly. It leaked and tripped the electric and broke the washer. Anyway, since the replacement it's been fine. I find though different washes do use different levels of softener. I don't think the cotton cycle uses as much as it should do.
I'm also having this issue and when I called up to ask for help, no reply! Would really appreciate if you could help!
Hi, how do you know if care dose is on or off please?
When tapping on the caredose button the middle and the bottom lights will light up then when tapping it again it will select the detergent only, then tapping it a 3rd time will be softener only then 4th time no detergent or softener will dispense

If there are no lights on any of the care dose options that means it won’t dispense anything

How do I do a drum clean
There are 2 ways, 1st turn the dial to the spin and drain cycle then on the far right options tap the button to the bottom as the drum clean cycle. 2nd use the hOn app and got to the maintenance part and select drum clean if you want to use the app
what happened to the dynamic next and hotpoint?
So the Dynamic Next I sold in September 2019 as was unhappy it lost 200 rpm and was only going up to 1400 rather than the 1600 it’s meant to. Sold the Hotpoint to my neighbour and wanted to go back to Hoover as it had WiFi and a proper app to use with and can remote control it

This is the worst washing machine ever please don’t buy!! My one can’t take a colour catcher .. it will slip through to the filter and block your machine …
The on button isn’t working now just less than a month I got the machine .. sometimes the whole lights on the board is flashing for no reason!!

what does the wifi function do please? and is the dryer any good?
The WiFi enables you to use the hOn App and remote control with your smart phone and the app can be used on both iOS and Android
I haven’t got the dryer yet but I’m time I will do
