I like these kind of videos very relaxing, I watch them before going to bed and makes me fall asleep faster. "No Talking" is a plus.

I love how simple this set up is. Just some chord, a tarp, sticks and a stove. I could see myself doing this in the woods as a teenager. All just to hear those wonderful sounds of raindrops.
I prefer the no talking better. Listening to nature and the falling rain & wood burning sound is therapeutic. 👍

Thank you so very much for the silence.........How refreshing......... I have been solo hiking for over 45 years now & one of the many reasons I take to the woods is because I do not want to hear the voices of others nor the barking of their dogs. The sounds of rain drops on the forest floor,bird song ,the chatter of the chipmunks . Sometimes if I am quite enough I can almost hear the trees talking to each other..........peace to you.....

1) Keep tarp rolled up with ten feet of cord on each corner, stuffed into the left bottle pocket of pack.
2) Pull out and tie up tarp in less than 30 seconds.
3) Be dry.

The best sound in this world is the rain hitting my rain fly as I lay in the hammock. I put the rain fly up 1st then the hammock if it's raining. Get the hammock ready for the night and some good sleep. Next item is what I call my portable fireplace , a Solo Stove Lite. Now , I'm ready to relax for the rest of the evening and until morning's light. During the night if I'm lucky there will be some calling back and forth between some Owls.. A sound I enjoy as much as the rain. As the old saying goes ... "Silence is Golden " Thank you for the Golden experience.

It can be pretty hard to start fire when it’s wet out. Lucky for me I had the tarp and found some dry wood
