this is absolutely insane
when I was a small boy I was amazed by Outcast and its insane graphics, not to mention the amazing "lip sync" and dialogue, feels so good to see a sequel after so many year

I came to this video because articles said this game was inspired by Zelda: BotW, but I think this might be the Iron Man game that we deserve but did not get.

I still remembering reading articles on Computer Gaming World hyping up Outcast, playing the game back in 1999 and not being able to run it cause of not enough memory on display adapter. :P
Anyways, already have Outcast Second Contact on Steam, and since New Beginning actually has regional pricing here in India (nice job not being scummy), I'll end up buying this one as well.
I was ready to purchase this but the 69.99 price point is too much. I love THQs library. 59.99 i would have paid with hesitation. 49.99 i would have been eager.

And a colossal thankyou to you THQ Nordic! The music and Ambience of this game is gorgeous, found myself enjoying this way more than orizon Zero's lawn, my goodness that girl just doesn't shut up with her excessive yammering, good gravy by the yods shut her up, so forget that game, I'm playing this instead and im enjoying every single second of it, cutter slade may be a straight to the point character, but by gosh I like him he gets more and more likeable as the game goes on, oh and the humour is fantastic, I found my self crying with laughter in some of those scenes, love this game immensely! But that music? Never have I felt so entrenched and drawn into a world with such a masterful soundtrack such as this, I really hope people give this a chance and that it sells well, I'd love nothing more than see more sequels to this, many thanks to all involved on this project, such a great game with huge potential with its sequels

That EULA lost you a sale. No being able to have it on my PC and Steam deck at the same time. Then saying that you own any mods the community may make and that you can sell them without compensation is Unity levels of scummy. I won't buy anything from THQ in the future.

Looking forward to finally getting to know Kizaar, the island of the Talan women. And why there is an invasion of cyborgs in Adelpha, although I remember something from script 1 prepared for the canceled sequel and I know that it takes something from there but there are changes.
I already have the demo burned out (with almost 30 hours of play). I already prefer to wait to play the full game on PS5, hopefully soon (I'm still waiting for my copy from Amazon).

Bardzo chciałem w to zagrać, ale jest to dla mnie najgorzej zoptymalizowana gra od czasu Jedi Survivor....
Na pc na którym CP 2077 chodzi w stałych 80 FPS na Ultra, Outcast chodzi na minimalnych w 30-40 FPS....

Show all the stuttering and frame drops in your trailer ... FO NOT BUY this unoptimised half baked mess . I have a 7950x3d cpu and a 4090 and I cant run it past 80 fps on low settings with dlss on with constant stuttering and lag. Dont be fooled

The game failed in Steam because it was poorly optimized, many people who liked the game simply could not play due to lags. 1060 is the Gold standard, if the game does not work stably on 1060 and I5 of the 6th-8th generation, at least at the minimum, the user base will be too small for the game to pay off. Think about optimization correctly.
The game shits the pants even on an i5 10 series and 3060ti...and that too at 1080p.
Massive swings in fps from 90+ to mid 30's with atrocious frame pacing and shuddering.
Performance is very very sketchy.....unless you have 4080+ series cards.
Looks like most of these development studios work in a bubble with practically zero clue about what sort of systems a majority of the players are on.
Even if the performance is improved(seems unlikely as the devs seem to be focusing on all the wrong areas in their patches), the game already has a very niche audience to make any significant profit.
Really sad since most AA games(this one included) really are put together with love and care.
