I've really enjoyed Wayfinder. I'm glad it's not some MMO "don't care about my time, I love grinding the same crap" slop. Love the art direction of that game too - almost Torchlight like.
I think you mean 90% of reviews are positive. You can only rate a game positive or negative on steam. You can’t rate a game “overwhelmingly positive”. Overwhelmingly positive just means 95%+ of reviews were positive.
I'm sorry, but my mind can't comprehend how the new expansion for D4 justifies being paid for and costing 40 bucks at its lowest price. Could someone please explain how POE devs can consistently bring new expansions with truly new mechanics (not just bring back old ones like mercenaries in the new D4 expansion) and even create an entire game (POE 2) for free, but Blizzard insists on making us pay for a product that I am 100% sure won't even be finished on release, just like the base game...

Expansions, DLC's or new content doesn't make the game itself "NEW", we want to see NEW GAMES. For whatever reason he is not getting slack for this.

The No More Room in Hell Mod was incredible entertaining. Every playthrough was a bit randomized. A burning Car blocked the Road, you have to take the route through the sewers. The next time the car wasn't there. Pretty cool. I have it on my Wishlist for years now. 8 of 10 rounds we've failed. But we couldn't stop trying.
throne and liberty EARLY ACCESS player here. the game got a massive overhaul to its combat system and a lot of things in the game have been changed for the better since it launched in KR and NA beta testing.. highly recommend giving the game a 2nd try. every class has aoe now instead of it being fully single target like it used to be... they changed a lot of systems as well... for the better. full 180 in the correct direction for the game. I too was skeptical as were many of the people i game with.. but we've been having a blast on the game... definitely do yourself the favor and at least give it a chance and make it to level 50 to see the end game and pvp fun.
It could have been decent sure, but better if they had just made Mass Effect online with similar combat to multiplayer on 3 and new content added all of the time. What could have been Bioware, you dropped the ball bigtime.
For max new world fun, gather everything you see and turn on an old school runescape playlist on spotify. Its the closest we've got to updated runescape

lol what are you taking about? there was almost nothing new for pvp since the begining :D there is ONE outpost run map, then they add 2 maps of 3v3 arena and voila :D that is all for casual pvp, ofc you have wars, but if you want to be on wars you have to be good and understand wars so you can`t be casual. That game have the best pvp fighting system and they are doing exactly nothing with pvp :) For PVE you had new regions, new raids, new dungeons, new events, even they rebuild story line, they even let you push your story quest solo in freaking mmo game :D mmo game with perfect fighting system and make almost zero things for pvp :)
@@user-lz5vh9bb5w I believe the problem isn't the concept of territory wars, but how it's implemented. Regular players rarely get the chance to participate. But there is solution. To prevent players from logging in across multiple servers, participation in wars should require some involvement in the guild. Second thing: territory war tiers is a perfect idea - let's say you have Everfall, Windsward and Brim Tier 1, Eden, Brithwood, Ebon Tier 2, Rest of them are Tier 3 or Tier 3 and 4 and now the rule is that if you have a Tier 2 territory you can't attack Tier 3, only 2 or higher If you have tier 1 teritory you can not attack tier 2 and 3 and that's it. This way, more players, even casual ones, could join the wars. It is so simple. The issue here is just poor implementation and ofc lack of endgame pvp content, not in the PvP teritory mode itself.

I'm going to save you guys the TL;DP (Too long, didn’t play) of Throne and Liberty 🤣🤣 I played on the KR servers, reached Epic 2 set T2 content/dungeons, and maxed my gear at the time. At endgame: - Endgame will solely depend on the alliance that takes over the server. Both PvP and PvE content are heavily tied to this. - It gets stale, and you’ll notice how lacking the devs are in terms of competence. It’s as if they don’t know where the game is heading. - Yes, it’s open-world, but you’ll mostly use teleporters, and it feels more linear than “open” due to all the content being separated into zones with invisible walls disguised as big rocks or mountains. - You’ll notice how small and disconnected parts of the map are (which breaks the "open-world" immersion, in my opinion). - Gear is heavily pay-to-win . - The game is very meta-centric, both in PvP and PvE, with lots of gatekeeping. - Everyone equips SNS during Node Wars. - Good luck having fun as a solo player! 🤣 - The reason it died in KR is that the devs don’t know how to balance the advantage of big alliances, and it ruins the entire game’s content. TL;DR I give this 3 months tops in the West.
I mean if I get 3 months out of a free game I'd say that's worth playing. I've enjoyed it so far but I'd suspect I won't enjoy it as much if the same thing happens that you mention with PVP in end game. I'm much more of a PVE player anyway though.
Yup, downloading Throne and Liberty now simply because it’s free to play, I’ll test the waters and see what’s up, I’m a long time ESO player (since launch) but ESO’s population has plummeted and PVP is barely playable now because of it.
14:10 i played T&L for roughly 7 hours, reached lvl 32 and was borred and went back to other games. Combat is some of the worst i ever tryed, only thing that is nice about T&L is the graphics.
That's because they literally rushed as fast as possible. I am level 32 after 35 hours because I am actually playing the game. Reading quests, watching cinematics, participating in events, reading about the systems, mechanics, and items. Exploring the world, crafting, hanging out in towns socializing with other players. Everyone is rushing leveling in this game because they are told that's what they have to do and can't think for themselves. Don't listen to people like this. @@randomperson8405

i remember enjoying the core gameplay of wayfinder a lot but it had that free to playish feel and progression to it when it first launched, i’m excited to see where it goes maybe i’ll jump back in
Stoked for No More Room In Hell! It sounds like it could be so cool & immersive and one of those games where you & your friends are unpacking the "story of a session" for an hour afterwards. I really liked Chiv 2, but thought it lacked depth. So I feel like this will be a fun game either way, but would be really cool if it keeps you hooked for hundreds of hours.
I cannot wait for Vessel of Hatred, say what you will about the seasons (I agree PoE seasons are better) but for Diablo the expansions are always fun at launch, new stuff, more campaign, new class, which are always the highlights for me in the Diablo series anyways.
I can wait quite a long time. PoE 2 will be here very soon. Not sure I'll look back after that. Got D4 at half price, no DLC. Got my money's worth. Not gonna spend full game price for some DLC but maybe in a year when it's also half price. Also tired of having battle passes shoved down my throat and in my face every second. I enjoyed the game at the $35 price point I paid a year after launch. I'm glad I waited for more polish and didn't pay full price for a game that wasn't received nearly as well at launch as a year later. I played and beat the last D4 season, "unlocked" all the battle pass content, and I'm satisfied with the money I spent and what I got. But you're comparing a $40 dollar DLC to something from 20 years ago and claiming it's the same, it's not. This time around $40 is the *minimum* you can spend on the DLC for the *minimum* amount of content. The rest is $60 and $90 respectively. Not the same. I am not going to give them a pat on the back for precut content. It's not consumer friendly. Look at Baldur's Gate 3 for what it looks like to be consumer friendly. The idea of spending the same or more than the full price of the base game and all its content and the ridiculousness of that value proposition is beyond my ability to process. Also I am not excited about another season of getting spammed with content I "unlocked" but in reality it isn't unlocked because I need to spend $60 or $90 to get it. It's intentionally misleading and I won't excuse that behavior from anyone, regardless of the quality of the story or gameplay. So basically I liked D4 just fine for its gameplay. I won't applaud their business strategy of turning their customers into glorified cattle to be milked or dangle tons of content over their heads all season that they'll never have unless they pay enough for an entire DLC from the past. So by all means spend all the $ you want, nobody here is gonna stop you. I'm not gonna try to talk you out of it cuz frankly I don't care to. People do what they do and that's the way it should be. But I don't see a reason not to share my opinion any less than anyone else. As far as PoE 2, while none of us can see its future, so far it stands to be far more consumer friendly offering massive content for even less. I simply don't have enough time in my life for two games as similar as D4 and PoE 2. I am forced to pick one and I can't see myself returning to D4 outside of a steep discount and an unlikely amount of boredom. But that's the kind of choice I'm glad to have.
Multiplayer games had been way too many since the past decade, and sadly these companies won't stop doing so, believing that all the money is in there.
I was lying a bit, (because bad memory) i remember i sometimes still go back to play some POE league... But aside from that, yeah.... might shoot some people on counter strike (haven't even tried CS2 yet) and i did some wow (turtle wow private servers) lately, but that was just to help and introduce wow to a friend who wanted to try... That's all the multiplayer in my world, old stuff.... generally speaking, i don't feel like even trying a new MMO because of all the shenanigans nowadays, nothing is clear and the economic model is frankly dishonest most of the time, new multiplayer games don't feel like a game trying to survive, it feels like a cash-grab trying to pass as a game, i find the passion of the devs lacking, now it's just a business, a service like any other!

Some interesting games here. My most anticipated game for me this month is Mechwarrior 5 Clans, its looking awesome! Might not have the same level of "sandbox" freedom that Mercinaries has but it focuses on the story more and looks like the progression and customization has some extensive options.
The thing about DBZ games is that they're made for DBZ fans 95% of the time. If you're not already a fan of DBZ then you're not going to like such games. I've never heard Force talk about DBZ in any of his videos so I doubt he's a fan.

Yeah I will personally wait and see I quit playing before they even started doing seasons because they were nerfing everything in sight and artificially slowing people down on purpose and they made next to impossible to find the gear you wanted unless you wanted to spend 50 hours grinding and hope that you get it which just absolutely destroyed the game for me.. I played it a month ago and it seems they have fixed the leveling and stuff and the season npc does give some sweet temporary gear but only played to like lvl 35.. I probably check out the expansion as long as it isn't cost 50 or $60.. which I have a feeling it's going to

Genuinely more excited for this than any of the AAA games coming out for the next couple months. I think Monster Hunter Wilds and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 are the next major releases I'm really hyped for, other than that it's all indie games.
i'm gonna try Throne & Liberty, i know it doesn't have the greatest reputation but we really don't get new mmos that often, and there are parts of it that i'm interested in. Also might check out the new Dragon Age game, going to wait and see how good the reception is first but i am a big fan fantasy games with immersive story-telling, so we'll see.

Played the MEtaphor Demo, I am actually excited for the game.. A lot of options and fun systems. Also am def getting Ashes Alpha pass, ive waited long enough I need an MMO, and I have pinned some hopes and dreams on that one.

Factorio Space Age DLC is basically the Devs releasing Crack 2.0 to addicts and it's a shame it's not getting enough mainstream coverage.

The No More Room in Hell Mod was incredible entertaining. Every playthrough was a bit randomized. A burning Car blocked the Road, you have to take the route through the sewers. The next time the car wasn't there. Pretty cool. I have it on my Wishlist for years now. 8 of 10 rounds we've failed. But we couldn't stop trying.

throne and liberty EARLY ACCESS player here. the game got a massive overhaul to its combat system and a lot of things in the game have been changed for the better since it launched in KR and NA beta testing.. highly recommend giving the game a 2nd try. every class has aoe now instead of it being fully single target like it used to be... they changed a lot of systems as well... for the better. full 180 in the correct direction for the game. I too was skeptical as were many of the people i game with.. but we've been having a blast on the game... definitely do yourself the favor and at least give it a chance and make it to level 50 to see the end game and pvp fun.

lol what are you taking about? there was almost nothing new for pvp since the begining :D there is ONE outpost run map, then they add 2 maps of 3v3 arena and voila :D that is all for casual pvp, ofc you have wars, but if you want to be on wars you have to be good and understand wars so you can`t be casual. That game have the best pvp fighting system and they are doing exactly nothing with pvp :) For PVE you had new regions, new raids, new dungeons, new events, even they rebuild story line, they even let you push your story quest solo in freaking mmo game :D mmo game with perfect fighting system and make almost zero things for pvp :)

To prevent players from logging in across multiple servers, participation in wars should require some involvement in the guild. Second thing: territory war tiers is a perfect idea - let's say you have Everfall, Windsward and Brim Tier 1, Eden, Brithwood, Ebon Tier 2, Rest of them are Tier 3 or Tier 3 and 4 and now the rule is that if you have a Tier 2 territory you can't attack Tier 3, only 2 or higher If you have tier 1 teritory you can not attack tier 2 and 3 and that's it. This way, more players, even casual ones, could join the wars. It is so simple. The issue here is just poor implementation and ofc lack of endgame pvp content, not in the PvP teritory mode itself.

I played on the KR servers, reached Epic 2 set T2 content/dungeons, and maxed my gear at the time.
At endgame:
- Endgame will solely depend on the alliance that takes over the server. Both PvP and PvE content are heavily tied to this.
- It gets stale, and you’ll notice how lacking the devs are in terms of competence. It’s as if they don’t know where the game is heading.
- Yes, it’s open-world, but you’ll mostly use teleporters, and it feels more linear than “open” due to all the content being separated into zones with invisible walls disguised as big rocks or mountains.
- You’ll notice how small and disconnected parts of the map are (which breaks the "open-world" immersion, in my opinion).
- Gear is heavily pay-to-win .
- The game is very meta-centric, both in PvP and PvE, with lots of gatekeeping.
- Everyone equips SNS during Node Wars.
- Good luck having fun as a solo player! 🤣
- The reason it died in KR is that the devs don’t know how to balance the advantage of big alliances, and it ruins the entire game’s content.
TL;DR
I give this 3 months tops in the West.

I mean if I get 3 months out of a free game I'd say that's worth playing. I've enjoyed it so far but I'd suspect I won't enjoy it as much if the same thing happens that you mention with PVP in end game. I'm much more of a PVE player anyway though.

Yup, downloading Throne and Liberty now simply because it’s free to play, I’ll test the waters and see what’s up, I’m a long time ESO player (since launch) but ESO’s population has plummeted and PVP is barely playable now because of it.
14:10 i played T&L for roughly 7 hours, reached lvl 32 and was borred and went back to other games. Combat is some of the worst i ever tryed, only thing that is nice about T&L is the graphics.

Stoked for No More Room In Hell! It sounds like it could be so cool & immersive and one of those games where you & your friends are unpacking the "story of a session" for an hour afterwards. I really liked Chiv 2, but thought it lacked depth. So I feel like this will be a fun game either way, but would be really cool if it keeps you hooked for hundreds of hours.
I cannot wait for Vessel of Hatred, say what you will about the seasons (I agree PoE seasons are better) but for Diablo the expansions are always fun at launch, new stuff, more campaign, new class, which are always the highlights for me in the Diablo series anyways.
I can wait quite a long time. PoE 2 will be here very soon. Not sure I'll look back after that. Got D4 at half price, no DLC. Got my money's worth. Not gonna spend full game price for some DLC but maybe in a year when it's also half price. Also tired of having battle passes shoved down my throat and in my face every second. "You unlocked sparkle pony dust!" Stop lying, no I didn't unlock anything because I still have to pay you more money for it. But hey, consolation, I get a pathetic looking fur coat of shame to remind me how I could look important if I only spent another $30 dollars.

I enjoyed the game at the $35 price point I paid a year after launch. I'm glad I waited for more polish and didn't pay full price for a game that wasn't received nearly as well at launch as a year later. I played and beat the last D4 season, "unlocked" all the battle pass content, and I'm satisfied with the money I spent and what I got. But you're comparing a $40 dollar DLC to something from 20 years ago and claiming it's the same, it's not. This time around $40 is the *minimum* you can spend on the DLC for the *minimum* amount of content. The rest is $60 and $90 respectively. Not the same. I am not going to give them a pat on the back for precut content. It's not consumer friendly. Look at Baldur's Gate 3 for what it looks like to be consumer friendly. The idea of spending the same or more than the full price of the base game and all its content and the ridiculousness of that value proposition is beyond my ability to process.
Also I am not excited about another season of getting spammed with content I "unlocked" but in reality it isn't unlocked because I need to spend $60 or $90 to get it. It's intentionally misleading and I won't excuse that behavior from anyone, regardless of the quality of the story or gameplay.
So basically I liked D4 just fine for its gameplay. I won't applaud their business strategy of turning their customers into glorified cattle to be milked or dangle tons of content over their heads all season that they'll never have unless they pay enough for an entire DLC from the past.
So by all means spend all the $ you want, nobody here is gonna stop you. I'm not gonna try to talk you out of it cuz frankly I don't care to. People do what they do and that's the way it should be. But I don't see a reason not to share my opinion any less than anyone else.
As far as PoE 2, while none of us can see its future, so far it stands to be far more consumer friendly offering massive content for even less. I simply don't have enough time in my life for two games as similar as D4 and PoE 2. I am forced to pick one and I can't see myself returning to D4 outside of a steep discount and an unlikely amount of boredom.
But that's the kind of choice I'm glad to have.

I was lying a bit, (because bad memory) i remember i sometimes still go back to play some POE league... But aside from that, yeah.... might shoot some people on counter strike (haven't even tried CS2 yet) and i did some wow (turtle wow private servers) lately, but that was just to help and introduce wow to a friend who wanted to try... That's all the multiplayer in my world, old stuff.... generally speaking, i don't feel like even trying a new MMO because of all the shenanigans nowadays, nothing is clear and the economic model is frankly dishonest most of the time, new multiplayer games don't feel like a game trying to survive, it feels like a cash-grab trying to pass as a game, i find the passion of the devs lacking, now it's just a business, a service like any other!
Not only are there to many, they are all garbage... nobody wants to play money hungery garbage.

Some interesting games here. My most anticipated game for me this month is Mechwarrior 5 Clans, its looking awesome! Might not have the same level of "sandbox" freedom that Mercinaries has but it focuses on the story more and looks like the progression and customization has some extensive options.

Yeah I will personally wait and see I quit playing before they even started doing seasons because they were nerfing everything in sight and artificially slowing people down on purpose and they made next to impossible to find the gear you wanted unless you wanted to spend 50 hours grinding and hope that you get it which just absolutely destroyed the game for me.. I played it a month ago and it seems they have fixed the leveling and stuff and the season npc does give some sweet temporary gear but only played to like lvl 35.. I probably check out the expansion as long as it isn't cost 50 or $60.. which I have a feeling it's going to

Also might check out the new Dragon Age game, going to wait and see how good the reception is first but i am a big fan fantasy games with immersive story-telling, so we'll see.

If hte experience is quite mediocre then suffice to say that the end product will have A LOT LESS expectations than what is currently expected from the game, especially so after the devs have made so many ludicrous claims and promises over the years. We are, once and for all, going to see come october 25th if the devs will be able to deliver on their promises in a few years or if Ashes of Creations is forever going to be the Star Citizen of the fantasy MMORPG genre.

No More Room in Hell 2, Marathon, Arc Raiders, Tarkov, The Hunt, etc. Another oversaturated [single game mode] PvP subgenre. Games like Gears of War and Halo did as well as they did with their opening trilogies because of the variety of ways to play them.
