Awesome video! Was wondering how the kilt would do with stam dps builds, the one problem with the kilt is you lose stacks with direct damage, stam dps play up close and are always bound to get hit, as opposed to mag builds that can fight safely from far away, so does the kilt benefit mag more than stam in that sense?

Unsure, time will tell. Main question is can we figure out where the kilt is useful/not useful before it gets nerfed lol

You need the proper type of glyph of Magicka

Finally finished the kilt last night and did not even get a chance to try it yet. This will be nerfed into the ground once ZOS makes their money off Blackwood. I will never get the many hours back from Shadowfen so they better leave it alone for a while though!

Medusa is about equal to mother sorrow if not better

That was my question. Medusa was used instead of trial set, not sorrow.

It's not that powerful. Consider that it used to be 20% extra critical damage. But it got scaled back to 10%. I think it will stay at that 10% extra critical damage range. It's not too wild but not too low either.
@@Ryu_Kage. Yeah I can see your logic here. They might not be too eager to nerf something twice in a row, especially hearing about people grinding for it hours on end. Hopefully fear of backlash would stop them from touching the kilt further but I doubt it.
what was the turnaround for thief/shadow? crit chance about 55% buffed without thief or something?

Dude you can get 57% crit dmg with the flanking passive in CP blue tree. Im guessing you already have the fighting finesse

@@Notjacobsilvestri I was doing dungeons last night and was able to keep stacks up just fine. With a real tank tho, the fake tank meta is a joke correct? Dlc vet u don't see any fake tanks or they get kicked pretty fast.

@@jandro8370 Yeah I usually play tank for veteran stuff myself. The issue I'm always running into is people who either don't do enough dps (so we spend 20 mins per boss haha) or they just haven't done the dungeon yet (even in normal mode) and so don't know the mechanics. The "fake tank" thing only seems to really be an issue in normal mode I think...then again I'm almost always running real tank builds for veteran since I find it fun

It's definitely not for soloing lol never gets to 10 stacks. In trials and dungeons with a solid tank its pretty nice.
That's the key. A SOLID tank. They are few and far between.
That was quite fast for me to get it. WB track: immediate/ Murkmire track: 6 mins/ Bal Foyen track: 8 mins / Shadowfen track: 10 mins / Mazzatun track: 3-4h
I spent 12 hours in shadowfen
I can say my crit is at 73% and spell damage at 3200 with full up time. I can also wear a full monster set. I have the cp to do that, so these items are novel but not practical.
Man I hate this dungeon Ive ran it about 30 times now still no lead, everyone I do runs with gets the lead on their second or third attempt and just leave me so its back to solo running it.
It’ll be nerfed (I hope not) by the time I feel like going to the cluster Shadowfen is right now

I'm now a hated person on ESO for getting the Shadowfen lead in about 20 mins, just heading there to see how toxic the zone chat was while waiting for someone to run a dungeon. Guess having to run Mazzatun 8 times for that lead was my payback, but I really feel for anyone who has spent hours upon hours in Shadowfen.
