I use my SC28 on low, tail standing in my kitchen a lot, as it lights this way better than my Klarus CL3 lantern.

This is easier than most reviews state, there’s a slight flicker once turned on approximately 3sec, then ready for fast half press to change light brightness.

That is an excellent deal for such a torch. Is it just the UI people have been moaning about? At £22 it’s as cheap as a lot of the crappy ones

Yeah, just the UI and that quick flash after 5 seconds (every time you turn it on) - I didn't like it at first, ok with it now and actually use it alot on the group I mentioned. At nearly £50 I would go for a different Sofirn but at its £22 with a 21700 battery/XHP50 V3, you can't go wrong.

I bought a really nice little work light same place as you bought the SC38's and every time I mention it's name, the comment is deleted so I can't tell you about it. How s*** is that! 3 times my rewritten comment has been deleted and all it does is mention the product name to id it for people to see. It's 4000 lumens of quality output with selectable colour tone, power bank, etc etc and only £13.50 so I bought 2, but hey it's banned to mention it on YT? It's just getting worse on here.

    Wow!
I had to search through a ton of videos to just know what any enthusiast about tactical lights wants to know about this light and no one is mentioning it. Jesus. Not even Sofirn on it's manual. You said before that in tactical mode it will also memorize the last output level, but in your night beam shots at exactly 9:48 you swapped through Turbo-Strobe-Medium and then you left it on medium, after that you turned off the light for maybe 4-5 seconds and when you turned it on it started at Turbo! Like any tactical light must do. So there it shows that there is no memory mode on this light and it makes an almost perfect tactical light with that kind of UI. It's essentially like Convoy's Biscotti UI if you set it on mode 11 with no memory, which gives a Turbo-medium-strobe. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for the love of god do another test and TELL ME!
If you leave it on strobe and then turn it off, will it then start on Turbo again?
This is exactly what everyone needs to know about this light, the only info no ones mentioning yet. And if does start on Turbo after how many seconds do you recall is reseting it's memory?
Please let me know, i already wasted more than 1 and a half hour to know the one thing any tactical light must have and that is turn on always at Turbo. I am desperatelly waiting for a responce. Thank so so much in advance

Hi, I had a look/try -- In the mode that features l/m/h/t etc. There is a memory mode BUT in the group medium/turbo/strobe regardless of what u last used a full or soft press is straight to turbo

@@flashlightsuk1422 Yeap. I already got the light in my hands and indeed it has memory as it should but i am selling it as we speak cause there's a serious flaw in the Ui. When half pressing a bit quickly the turbo in tactical mode will not turn on and it will go straight to strobe. That's great for self defense purposes like if you want straight seamless acces to strobe but it fails to do momentary signalling to someone unfortunately. So if for example i need to do 2 very quick Turbo signals to someone essentially I can't because of the way the ui is programmed. It has the same fault the Wurkkos TD01 has essentially. It would be better if it worked exactly like the Awesome Sofirn C8L which has Turbo-Strobe in tactical mode but without skipping turbo if you half press it quickly for signalling purposes. Conclusion being that though this light may not be for me, it's indeed a pretty solid tactical light for most people regardless

Pretty poor UI you have to be honest. A bit clunky is a under statement.

I don't disagree, but for £22 inc battery its a bargain imho...

Once you get used to it, it's not too bad.
